Makes sense if as rob said, a cut station. If you have 1 person cutting block for hours at a time, I'm sure they would love for a way to cut down on weight.

Hours at a time ? You can never worry about lasting hours at a time with these heavy duty machines, as the batteries only give you 10-15mins of runtime.​@MGSsancho

Why just not to plug in to the socket at this point, no socket around? Use a power bank, lots of banks that can handle heavy usage.

you realize these tools pull over 4kw under load? youd need 240volts..

It would be dumb to get a corded version or god forbid a gas saw… just think of how many Prius owners would off themselves if we used a gas saw and how much better the world would be lol

corded isn't always an option as you'd need access to 240v power. Gas can be the limiting factor when working in confined spaces, as electric has no hazardous emissions and doesn't consume the oxygen needed for the worker to breathe. I'm not saying this is the best tool, I'm saying its universally not bad, and has some potent advantages
