Hey, I have been in contact with Jamie Overbeek and money in kiting is a problem, he had no sponsor for last season. I think Janek is one of the last kiters in the redbull athlete pool and they have no plans to change that. I think it's a pr problem, not enough media exposure for bigger sponsors. Aluula or Brainchild? Jamie could ride anything he wanted and went for brainchild, same as Lorenzo, now Reedin is dropping aluula and brainchild is 20/25 % "cheaper". Aluula will stay in non brainchild kites, wings and I think windsurfing and sailing will pick it up. Brainchild on top!

brainchild tech is amazing- alula is overrated & priced best kiteboarding lol still got that roca, waroos, & breeze board. havent found a lightwind board that beats it. well that explains a lot about eleveight kites
Didn’t you know the story behind Eleveight? Let me make it short: Best wanted to grow and reposition themselves in the market and hence looked for new investors, those investors were greedy and wanted more and more. It didn’t go as planned and they stopped paying guys working at Best (apparently the investors paid out a lump sum to themselves or the company was spending more than making money) and then most of the guys (not all) founded Eleveigh. That’s the story in short. I’m curious how it will be presented here.
Just an add on: Best was actually a pretty good brand. One which stood behind their products. Experimented and definitely enlarged the whole kiteboarding world / user base.
What a biased comment on a very delicate matter. It is absolutely legit to protect your work from plagiarism if justified. To prove if justified or not is the courts business since there seems to be some considerable evidence that something shady (might have) happened. All YOU say in your video is: "How stupid can you be to commit plagiarism of best, can't be real though". Best had some really nice kites some years ago but couldn't hold their position in the market for some reason. No reason to accuse them of false claims. You seem to have no insight at all....downvoted...
