I can't believe I watched someone clean a car for an hour. And I loved it! Just incredible attention to detail and clear passion for what you do! What results as well, stunning turn around!
Ditto
As a professional detailer of many years, you did an amazing job I've never sat through a 1 hour long video and enjoyed it as much 🤙🤙🤙
I have the same Porsche in the same year and it makes me want to go show mine some love!
Despite it's flaws, you made that car look gorgeous. No need for the owner to be concerned about the amount he spent on this detail compared to the cars value. He got every bit of his monies worth. Absolutely amazing work as usual Jim. Cheers. 🍻
Boxster is so underrated, future classic no doubt. Looks beautiful, rare colour.
@@spyder_man Unlikely to become a classic anytime soon. Too many were made.
@@Dave-un7fh "too many were made". Undeniable. But I've heard that said MANY MANY TIMES since I bought a 1957 Porsche Speedster in 1972 at age 18 for all the money I owned - $2500. I watched 356's go from cars nobody wanted rust buckets to over $100k. Just yesterday (it seems from my perspective at suddenly age 70) the early to mid 1980's Porsche 911's I was buying and selling as a hobby in the mid to late 2000's were everywhere and cheap here in USA, $10k to $15k for REALLY good examples. Then around 2008 the Euro was over 1.7 to the dollar (it's now just 1.08) and the cars were over 25 years old and the import tax to get them into Europe dropped hugely. THOUSANDS went to Europe from USA, a great sucking sound, some SIX to a container! Now what does a nice 50k miles 1980 to 1987 Porsche 911 go for in USA? $50k to $80k? Well maintained regularly driven Boxster's, with attractive or unusual color combinations will bring top dollar FOREVER. Get them while they are cheap, this is the time, actually a little late.
As a former professional detailer in the States (Florida), I know firsthand how much work goes into a high-end detail like this one. I watch many detailing videos on UA-cam but I must say, this is one of the most meticulous detail I have seen. Fantastic work!
I live in Florida and I have a Boxster - any places you could recommend? Living in North Florida
@@geoffreydeibel did you ever find someone in north FL. I have the same car and live in the same area.
@@toddspiegel1955 no, but there's a guy that I know re-does the soft tops and he might also detail? Not sure. You might check with the guy who runs Wagen Haus in Tallahassee.
The best detailer on UA-cam makes Larry at AMMO NYC look like an amateur. Jim thank you for your inspiration. I hope you are very well rewarded for what you do because it is exceptional
Jim is the best detailer in the UK!
@@ilikechickensausages2075 He and Kelly Harris.
Makes Larry look like an amateur? What crack you smoking? His videos are much different than what Larry does. Both are exceptional at their craft. If you think one is better than the other you are blind.
Customers reactions are priceless. Makes the hard work put in worth it!
Welldone Jim
Great video! As a former owner of two 986 Boxsters, it warms my heart. The company makes cars that drive better and better, but I don't know when or if they will ever make anything to match this original in looks. Not many truly appreciated it; many of the subtle curves that made it what it was were straightened or flattened and most everyone just said "better"! For example, both front and rear hoods/bonnets had an lovely "s" curve that was lost with the 987. Seeing this video makes me want to check in with the people I sold them to and see if they are still around.
I remember the purple Porsche. That too was a great video. Craftsman and artist at work. All the very best to you, much admiration!
Absolutely stunning work as per usual! To be fair I dream of one day having my 250k miles Leon FR detailed by Jim...the car would be of no value to anyone else but to me its priceless
Your worth every penny and then some, your level of detail is outstanding.
Thank the Lord! Something decent to watch on a Sunday! 🤩
That's such a beautiful and rich colour! The Boxster was always a nice car but the colour really makes a world of difference between a good looking car and a stunning one.
I never fail to be flabbergasted at what you pull out of the hat, Jim! You're right..there is a world beyond black, white and grey!
I don't know what the customer paid for this detailing, but he got his moneys worth.
What an amazing job by Jim because the car looks amazing and it was a wise choice to replace the badges. I found this detail invigorating and a soothing way to end of evening. 👏
As I entered my working life, I learned early on that no matter what your passion is in life, there will always be next level exceptionalism. This is the best description I can offer about Jim White. I am always floored by his attention to detail and the results he delivers. Love his effort and his content.
Well said, no doubt Jim is #1
Totally agree. Jim is next level in everything he does. I have learned so much from him and try and emulate just some of his attention to detail on my cars.
Holy cow….me too. I’ve never seen anyone like this. What an amazing detailing job. Off the hook really.
That's something I always think about it. Whatever niche interest or skill there is out there, someone is doing it at a higher level than anyone else on the planet.
And I've learned the lesson to get good enough at what you do so you can pay someone to do what they're good at.
What an amazing result. I love it !! Usually, when looking at other detailers channels, I do occasionally skip/fast forward parts. But not with these videos. They keep me amazed and interested all the way! Thanks!!
I don't have the energy or the tools to do such detailed work so I was mesmerized by this entire video.
I have the same colour Porsche 996. Rainforest green metallic. Agree with you, no idea why silver and blacks are so popular. Porsche offers awesome colors. Superb job.
This channel is a pure gold. And as a Porsche fan it was a double pleasure.
Thank you for your content! Greetings from Ukraine, Odessa.
These are some of the best driver’s cars ever made, it’s completely logical to want to keep it looking beautiful
That Forest Green is gorgeous, searched and searched for a 987 Cayman in it... But alas had to settle for Arctic silver in the end.
Amazing work as always!
As an owner of a 2002 Boxster s manual transmission, I can tell you it IS logical to put this kind of love and effort into that car. People hate on them cuz they’re cheap. Mine was $17k as it’s a nice example, but relatively cheap and down on power. BUT, it’s more fun to drive it than my 600hp awd Audi. Completely different experience but that’s why I love it. If you want a manual transmission, visceral driving experience where it’s just you and machine in harmony, amazing handling, a convertible, and more fun than anything else in the price range, then I recommend buying one. I’d say don’t get auto, and don’t get the base. The s is much more powerful and manual transmission makes it for me in a world of dual clutches and paddle shifters
I'll be watching this a little later, always give a thumbs up even before viewing!
Always!👍🏻
I haven't watched any of your videos for a while, but this reminds me of what an exceptional level of detail you bring to detailing. I can't see how anyone could do better.
Amazing detail and pride in Jim's work is obvious. He has like a surgeons hand when it comes to how refined his detail work is. If you ever come to Southern California, I would love for you to detail my ride...great job !!
This is heart warming. There are few things as gratifying as a customer reaction on collection day. It's dopamine all around.
Excellent job!
Wow...as the owner of a 2002 myself you had me drooling at the mouth...you are the Leonardo da Vinci of paint correction!
This is by far the best detailing video I've see. Not only so satisfying to watch, but the quality of your work is insane! The quality of this detail makes the car look so nice, I can't put it into words. Incredible!
EPIC as always Jim!! 💎
The customer reaction is awesome!! Thanks for sharing mate. 🙌🏻
You are a Wizard!! 🧙♀️
I watch a LOT (too many?) of UA-cam car detail videos and I just love your dedication. The owner knows - “there is no substitute!”
My first White Detailing video, absolutely brilliant. Fantastic work , filming, editing and I love the fact we get to experience the handover and the owners joy at seeing their “new” car. Have subscribed. Many thanks.
Nice work. Thank you. When I do a total I find it easier to do the interior vacuuming and blowing before working on the outside. It keeps the flying stuff outside, no more interior dust interfering with my outside work.
I love the owners comments. It really is better than new. Stunning work as usual.
I have watched a lot of car detail videos and two things I've never seen anybody else do but you in this video, clean the car keys and clean the perforation in the seats. Well done!
Your videos are the only ones i hope are an hour long. Can watch them all day. Love the green as well car looked great when it was done
Always a great video, Jim. So happy to see you’re still doing videos. I know you’d talked about being undecided, to continue, in the past. But I’m happy to see every video that you put out. And I try to watch the whole video. Just sit back and let the ads run while I’m working in the kitchen or just on my laptop. Thanks again. From California.
A wee bit of toothpickery on the key! Fascinating work, mate.
Exceptional level of detail. What a fantastic colour as well. It really pops.
if only I could find someone with your expertise, passion and patience as well as all the correct products and techniques to tackle my 2002 996 C4s
Really impressive work! I really enjoy seeing the side by side comparisons of "before and after" while the work is in progress. Your attention to detail and quality work is admirable.
I love how jim always pushes the importance of clarity, and as the owner of Klarity Detailing, i couldnt agree more 😂 amazing work as always Jim 😍
Terrific work, Jim! Thank you for sharing. Always look forward to your next masterpiece.
I’ve seen detailing videos before but you bro’ are doing it at whole different level man, so meticulous…keep up the good work👍👍
This was my first view of this channel. Have watched AMMO often but ended each viewing being convinced that the video, highly produced, is well beyond my amateur skills. This young man inspires me to get busy ! Thanks
I can relate to not being logical, have Boxster 2.9 2011 and it is a big part of me and spent 2000 on detail as soon as I picked it up, not rich by any stretch but love the car.
I can honestly say I've never seen such dedication to one's craft.
Amazing attention to details! Incredible!
Another 986! You are definitely the Boxster guy. Amazing how they are loved so much to have this level detail completed over the investment. What a fun car. They are just so beautiful when you are done with them. Do you have any video of your detail of a Boxster engine bay? That would be an eye-catching video! I would love to see that.
I am a guy who has dreamed of owning a Porche most of my life. I enjoyed the care and attention to detail you gave this one. What a beautiful color!
Wow you did a great job on this car. I see people on here that want a Boxster S. I have a 2003 Boxster S silver/black, 48K miles, mint condition in US, I thinking of selling.
Wow! Fantastic job best I’ve seen yet! Gave me a bunch of tips for my 981 Cayman! Cheers mate!
Cannot believe I've been following the immense growth of this channel for the last 4 years. Exceptional standard continues Jim!
Amazing job. If it was my car I would have had the wheels painted a matte gold to compliment the stunning green paint.
You my friend, are a master of your craft!! To be able to put a light right next to your work? And not see a SINGLE flaw? Is truly amazing! I tip my hat to you Sir... you are, without a doubt, one, if not the best.
Perfect 🎉. Thanks for the video. The color of the Boxster ist also amazing 👌🏼
Amazing. That car looks good in that colour too.
Fantastic video as always. There is a level we all aspire to whenever we take on a new direction and I have to say yours is definitely the benchmark. Outstanding attention to detail. Brilliant 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Seen what you done there " there should be more green cars on the road " still not buying electric. Wish I had a guy like you near me, you do an amazing job.
A gorgeous green paintwork almost certainly now enhanced beyond its final hours at Stuttgart, big respect.
Full of admiration for Jim White’s attention to detail, inspirational as I am retired, time rich, wealth poor so will do my own 2002 BMW 330Ci myself including hardtop. Thanks for the inspiration Jim.
Wow, stunning! Tried this on my 911 but couldn't get the scratches out so will try what you used
strong compliments on the green color. I believe green was the original color for great britian when international auto racing began.
The colour of that Boxster is beautiful
This is fantastic craftsmanship, attention to detail and passionate. I need someone in Australia to do my cars like this.
I’ve never seen a boxster in that color. It looks great!!
60 minutes of pure unrivaled professional excellence..
The Porsche Look better than new. Perfekt!
FANTASTIC WORK !!!
Wow! My absolutely favorite car! Wonderful job!
Cleanest Porsche Boxster I’ve ever seen
I love this video so much, I've watched it three times now, so amazing. I love that the customer is so floored by the result, a Boxster is such a humble car to get this level of care but wow such a level of result! If I retire to the UK with my lovely Yorkshire wife (greetings from Minnesota) I will probably buy myself a Boxster to drive around and you will be the one to detail it. Lots of love.
This is an amazing video. Always thought if I was rich I’d hire a cook. Not now. I’d hire this talented bloke to take car of my car. Wow!
Excelente Video!!! 👌 👏 👏 👏
Amazing! Looks better than new. Beautiful ❤️
I came in after doing a ceramic coating on a Mazda CX-9, cracked open a beer and found a new video by White Details... a perfect Sunday afternoon!
I LOVE that color! Nicely done!
I own a 2002 Boxster S much like this one. I clean it religiously and keep it garaged to prevent the elements from damaging it. But I had no idea of how much better and exacting this detailing is than my amateur attempts to keep my car looking new. Please come to America and detail my car.
Incredible work. Love to have him do my Boxster
Thank you for sharing this !!!!!!
I have a 15 year old 987 S that went through a similar process including badges replaced, wheels off, cleaned underneath etc and ceramic coating. Looked new when it was finished. Still looks great 3 years later. I’m a big believer in doing a job properly as you are. Well done.
The customer reveals are the best end to a terrific video!
Superb job, the Best I’ve seen.. 1st time on your site and new subscriber !!!
Wow! What a terrific fantastic job. Stunning.
That has to be the best color on the early 2000's year porsches BY FAR! First time I've seen It honestly and I can't stop imagining it on a 996. Many colors don't look good on these years in my opinion, having something more flashy on a new porsche is the way to go but gray metallic, white, black, is what looks best but this right here is gorgeous. Aye if anybody knows the paint code it would be much appreciated!! (might go on a C4S ;) )
Absolutely flawless
One of the best and what I loved more than the work (also met you a few years ago) at the end I could see how humble and filled up you were ,about how much they loved it , SHEAR CLASS MATE.
Just occasionally we happen upon a revelation in a sphere of life that was simply unbeknownst to us before. Unexpectedly captivating and supremely professional. Thanks!
A neat trick for cleaning dirty keys... just chuck them in the washing machine with some towels and other stuff... even the once with controls on them will do just fine and they end up cleaner than you can get them by hand. The water damage or corrosion fears you might have are really not a thing there is two low power to cause trouble electrically and thanks to the spin drying you end up with no water remaining in the key so no long term worries either.
Found that out by accident when my keys fell out of my pants pocket when taking them out of the machine. I expected some long term issues as but now a few years later it still works just fine. I tried it with other keys as well (just to see if I had just gotten lucky or something) and so far I have yet to break or damage one, they all still work fine even years later.
Great color
Fantastic job, looks as good as new again, I’ll have to call you to do my Boxster.
I don't know anything about cars but this was therapeutic for me so thank you.
Thouroughly enjoyed the very last bit. That is GOLD.
Im a mobile detailer.
I love cars of non boring colour. They really gleem.. (Boring colours = silver and white)
Spray shops dont have the time or the interest in finishing their work, most just botch it with Autoglym SRP and shift it out the door.
Im now doing a lot of finishing work for a few spray shops and a classic car restorer. Im building a bit of a local reputation for decent work 🙂
The cost of diesel and materials is getting silly. Might have to increase my prices again.
Amazing work Jim! You are right, green is such an underrated colour. The car has been brought back to life. The owner made a wise decision on spending that type of money. It was worth every penny.
really enjoyed seeing an older car go through the process, Marvellous!
Absolutely amazing work Jim. I must say, I do love it when you do the older Porsches.
Great work 👏
Bloody amazing! What a credit to that car. Genius work Jim
Wow magnificent video. I love your attention to detail.
