Full disclosure: Our Trackhawk made 870 wheel HP on boost and a little over 1000 wheel HP with a shot of nitrous which is the setup that ran 9.66. Also running on 109 octane unleaded fuel, Nitto drag radial tires on all 4 corners and the passenger and rear seats were removed for a total weight savings of 170 lbs. It was 86 degrees when we made the run. This vehicle was and is John Hennessey's daily driver when its not setting track records.

Drae2g2 the trackhawk is awd from factory. They made it rwd due to the horsepower and tq being too much for the transfer case to handle

Its feasible since they do make an awd Challanger it would just be borrowing the transfer case from the Jeep as well as its axle and i believe it could be done.

That's crazy. According to ZF website ZF8HP95 is rated for 1000 Nm (740 ft-lbs)....so this trackhawk has 890 ft-lbs ( 1220 NM) going through it. Kinda risky that it won't grenade itself after several 1/4 passes.

Why did you disconnect the front axle?
We put the Jeep in RWD mode to do a rear wheel burnout to put some heat in the tires. After the burnout we put it back in AWD mode which is how it ran down the 1/4 mile. Good question and thanks for asking!
