Yea but that sucks for streaming it will lag both the capture card and on the actual Twitch stream. Apparently UA-cam can stream at higher bitrate which means it's better for 4K streaming, but not recommended for games anyways.

@@jelousjake3500 that's not how computers work. He uses his own capture card, so it doesnt make any difference on the console side. It just captures the screen into his PC.

@@orangee3187 He was capturing it on a lower resolution which caused flickering, or hiccups. You can see him change the streaming resolution to match the game's to fix that issue.
1440p is 2k, not 4k. consoles can only run 4k are 30-40fps.

I've fully played this game twice now and both runs were on quality settings and never had a single problem
I dont think its an issue with the ps5 really. Its something to do with him streaming the video source in 4k to his Capture Card. I agree, the game runs near flawlessly for me even on a native 4k tv. Theres some slowing sometimes but in my experience been almost unnoticeable with how the dynamic scaling works.

I laughed when sony announced ps5 would run 4k at 60fps. This was during the time when rtx 3000 series gpus were coming out. The 3090 ran 4k games between 50 to 120fps depending on the game. That card was $1,499 alone. PS5 was 500 bucks. Shit was a joke statement.

Im assuming the Capture Card software acts as a middleman where the PS5 display is fed into that which is then fed into the PC. Seeing as the Capture software was called "4k Capture Utility", im gonna assume its default would be 4K
He has 1440p monitor. I got a 1440p with 4K upscaling. If I put it on automatic it automatically upscales to 4K output. And it looks a little fuzzy. Looked very smooth and clean on the native 1440p setting.

He needs to get off “favor quality” and get on performance. HUGE difference. I thought my s90c would make up for frame rate in quality mode but I still was only getting 30 frames. With performance mode I was getting well over 60
The game uses Dynamic 4K on Performance mode. 1440p to 2160p
Or the high frame rate mode does 1440p 80-90fps. When combined with vrr it's great. But the 1440p has temporal upsampling which looks close to 4k anyways.
The only reason to use the quality mode is there's better lod on some assets throughout the scenes. It's not worth the drop in fps though imo.

I have a pc and a ps5 and honestly I love both just as much, they both run games very well, I have options to run my ps5 at 1440p with unlocked framerate, which gets me well over 60 fps, I'm not really missing anything from playing a game on the ps5. I see people saying pc beats console on everything and they are very wrong!! like bro I have a 3060ti and a Ryzen 7 and there is still so much I love about the ps5. I think both pc and console have different things that make them stand out.
PC is better than console but console has some of the best games out there which of doesn’t have access to so it’s a trade off

I thought you could only get 4K OR 60FPS, depending on if your in performance or graphics mode?
60fps mode is in dynamic 4K which means it'll sometimes change resolution during crazy scenes to not drop frames. It does usually stay at 4K when standing still, and you won't notice the difference unless you pause during a cutscene because of motion.

This is why it annoys me when people underestimate the power of the next gen consoles (series x particularly) the series x can easily run 120fps in 4k with a HDMI 2.1 screen along with VRR and HDR. How much would you have to spend on a PC that can run that? Not to mention how expensive a good 4k monitor would cost 🤷🏽♂️

Gow Ragnarok runs at 120hz mode at 90fps on average. With VRR that's silky smooth and with minimal differences to the 60fps mode. Game simply looks AMAZING.
Big shame how they made the game for PS4 cuz the teleporting around the realms takes like 2 seconds when they don't talk at all. But alas, they gotta leave room for the PS4 so they have dialogue taking the game hostage so the PS4 version can load up and you gotta wait around on PS5 too. It shocked me how fkn fast teleporting is on PS5 when everybody shut ups.

I tried to hate consoles but they make sense: specific widespread machines that developers can optimize games for, that will run the same in every home that can be easily patched and are way harder to hack, and most especially they cost WAY less than pcs and create a degree of separation in eich you dont game where you work leading to less distraction.
I'm sure there's other reasons too but this are the main reasons for me and Pcs are great if you can get them so I'm not trying to put them down.
Another reason would be that a lot of customers find it way more comfortable to play games on their couch in their living room TV, then sit at a desk with much smaller screens.
PCs are infinitely cheaper than consoles because you don't have to pay an annual $60 fee to use it. Not to mention how much cheaper PC games are.
