It takes incredible skills to do this even with the aid of slow motion play, save states and no time limit to play this TAS game. You really need a lot of time on your hands to complete this.

@6dissaor6 key jumping. a key is like a portable piece of ground that if you jump in mid air with the key and then let go of it then jump off the key then grab it at the same time you will preform a key jump. this is used in many TAS's.

He uses glitches, savestates, etcetera. He then edits the video to be viewed at a normal 30-60 frames per second. He's probably not Asian. And not all Asians are good at video games, either. :P
@lucasdiv2010 He probably used game clock, tries to stop the video at the moment it changes, compares it to his .smv, which is what I did with your Item Abuse 2 TAS to try and see if I'm ahead, keeping a solid lead, increasing it, or losing the lead which tells you that you need to improve a certain area. It gets harder to keep track once you're ahead by a couple of in-game seconds though. Also, this can get quite inaccurate when you get sprite lag, scrolling the screen, etc.
I think it's pretty certain that after seeing this, Bowser wet his shell and went home to give serious thought towards why he even bothered TRYING to kill a guy who can do these kinds of mind-bending shenanigans.XD
