Great video. Exactly what I was looking for. But how is the glow? I’ve heard DD doesn’t have the best glow, but just hoping they improved their recipe. Trying to build my glow bag right now. Thanks.
The moonshine/glow on the new discs is very good. Latitude, who manufactures DD, Westside and Kastaplast has made some very good glow mix. You’ll hear it called “second generation” moonshine. You’re right the old stuff was garbage! They need to make more understable moonshine/glow - seems like most of the stuff is overstable!
They have a second generation recipe that Latitude started slowly putting out over the past couple years. Newer stuff is a lot better than the older stuff (which barely would glow). This Escape is new/second generation. It’s same as Kastaplast (made by Latitude).
I see this. Those are first generation I believe. Weird Latitude put out so much of the Kastaplast stuff in the newer mix. I’ve got a whole set of Trilogy glow like that suck. Newer stuff is trickling in. Mostly overstable stuff. Need more understable stuff!
@@BeaverBranch I recently bought a bunch of glow discs in an attempt to mimic my bag. If Latitude has a new glow then hopefully they make the Explorer with it. I love the Underworld and they do not make it in glow sadly. Fingers crossed that they do soon.
It has been a slow and exclusive roll out. It started with a special mystery box that featured the Pioneer. Want to say that was fall of 2021. What really stinks is that there is a bunch of the older glow at retailers that is still being sold. The right thing to do is to label them as first generation, so people know!
I got the throw the Lucid Ice Orbit today! It’s close to the Supreme. I found it pretty understable out of box: ua-cam.com/video/coOfGM3-uuY/v-deo.htmlsi=UIP2wlS_7uxNuaHn
Scott Stokely is an excellent teacher of forehand! I’ve made videos about throwing forehand, but have changed some of my mechanics after watching Scott’s! I recommend keeping it simple. Learn from a standstill. Don’t start off throwing hard and learn how to throw understable. I am no master of the forehand, but can use it as needed.
Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. Keep ‘em comin!
I appreciate that!
Love the grand finale shots
Thank you! It was fun! Didn’t come out exactly like I wanted, but!!!

I love the Escape but the Moonshine glow is horrible. They need to talk with MVP and gets some advice on glow discs.
Here is a comparison video I did and you can see how bright the MVP glow is...

What are some tips on forehand throws
