Thanks 🙏
Thank N vision for sharing this episode, if I may ask, why are you guys not using catcher box for trapping colonies but ruther the bulky brood box?
Sometimes we use the catcher box for weaker colonies but you find larger colonies colonizing the brooder box that makes them to build the comps faster
Interesting! Will certainly need to setup a farm next year. I will contact you for advise on that
Thanks 🙏

When is swarm season?
January-march and July-December
if I may ask bees does not get mixed or go into other hives?
Bees can drift that’s why we paint our hives with different colors for them to register in their memories
@@nvisionke Wow that's interesting and genius I love this work
@aminamussa9835 thanks 🙏
Is that bee a Apis cerana
This are African bees that are very aggressive
That's 8 feet not 8meters
Thanks for understanding
Why should the hive face north or south?
It’s because in our area most wind flows from East or west and also bees don’t face the sun directly when they get out of their house/hive
@@nvisionke should it also apply when placing beehives in an apiary? I have realised that some of my beehives are facing east and others west.
@LennieMuriithi yes it must be applied in the apiary
I have come across some beekeeping literature that encourages the hive entrance to face the direction of the sun(east).to encourage bees to come out early to forage immediately when they sense sunlight
