In this video, I collaborate with automotivelightpainting.com and use some of their light painting techniques to photograph the Kia Stinger GT using the Westcott Ice Light 2. In addition, I complete step-by-step post-processing to finalize the photo.

Don’t forget to auto-align your layers first.

Nice Video man. Almost exactly how I shoot and edit my light painted shots with the ice light. One thing I struggle with often is the reflection in the headlights. It seems you chose to leave that one. Is that what you would normally do?

Yes most times I leave it in. If there are enough exposures you could try masking out what you don't want, but can be difficult with such a small area. You could also go in with the pen tool and make selections and clone as needed but most times I find it too much for something I don't find as a huge distraction.

Sure. The photos were taken at F9 with a 10 sec exposure. ISO 100 of course and at 58mm. In order to take the shot as well as light the car I had it on a 10 second timer so I could get in position.

Hi amazing work, your automotive site seems to be down? Or have you moved it?
