  • The direction Star Wars is heading in is one that hasn't been extensively explored until now. With the introduction of characters like Baylan in Ahsoka, and Jod in Skeleton Crew, the new characters they're bringing to the screen are unlike any seen in Star Wars before. A huge shift is underway and it's time to talk about it.

    100 Jedi survived Order 66. According to Lucas, they were broken. Most no doubt were hunted down or just became homeless and/or recluses. By Return of the Jedi, it was just Luke, and maybe a dozen (formerly Jedi) survivers.

      Lucas stated that, by ROTJ, there was only 45 Former Jedi/Former Jedi Padawans existent within the galaxy. However, NONE of them could defeat Lord Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious. Only The Chosen One's offspring, Luke and Leia Skywalker could save the galaxy. A character like "Jod Na" may not be a fully trained Jedi Knight, like Luke was, by Obi-Wan and Yoda (vestiges of The Jedi Order). Based on his age, he's even younger than Baylan Skoll (whose soul has been darkened by Order 66 and Lord Darth Vader's reign); so, he may have been roughly the same age as Anakin Skywalker in ROTS. If he was trained as a Jedi, my hope is, "Jod Na" is a Former Jedi Shadow Apprentice, which would explain why he might've been able to hide in the dark and right in plain sight.

    From June 2003 to November 2004, almost every night I would play Star Wars galaxies with Star Wars playing in the corner of my room on VHS. When it would end I would switch the film some times, to another Star Wars movie. Over and over again. I loved Star Wars. I don’t even watch it any more.

    The one thing I want to see happen in Ahsoka season 2 is Ezra and Luke meeting. And hopefully Skeleton crew will be good.

    Dude you can’t say not that many survived. There were sentinels that focused a lot on their non Jedi skills and blending into society which would come in handy when hiding from the inquisitorious. There were only about 3 classes, counselors, guardians & sentinels which is a full third. Even if there were a few more that’s still a big percentage. These are the ones who fared best after 66! I’m writing about one & will animate one day as well.

    Let's hope the upcoming projects ditch the 1970s computers and some better looking ships. It's past time to slip some Old Republic technology (with modern cosmetic changes) into the upcoming shows. It makes sense that a good number of Jedi survived Order 66. Yes, they were scattered. But, over time, they will come together.

    People gave the Acolyte a lot of flak while praising Ahsoka which had just as many issues, often for the same time of thing. The two that bothered me the most were;
    1. - the lightsaber duels.
    For Ahsoka it was “now this is Star Wars!”
    For the Acolyte it was “is this all that Star Wars is?”
    and,..
    2. - the moral message;
    With the Acolyte it was “so now the Jedi are morally gray and the Sith are just misunderstood?!”
    With Ahsoka it’s Anakin has become the ultimate power behind the Force, keeping the balance on a cosmic scale! That’s awesome!”,.. Anakin, the guy who was never balanced, never fully on the light and chose to turn to the Darkside and stayed there for half of his life because he wanted total power and control over all. Anakin, who’s Revenge of the Sith’s scenes were inspired by religious art about Lucifer. The Sith version of a Chosen One’s (the Sithari) prophecy is all about power. Whereas the Jedi Chosen One prophecy is absolutely not about power, but rather Balance, that they would restore the Balance. In order to maintain Balance you need to first learn how to control the factors at play and more importantly oneself, which does not describe Anakin by any stretch.
    Anakin was a false hero who doomed the galaxy. While he had the potential to be the most powerful ever, his arrogance and lust for power cost him over half of it. He would never become the most powerful because he took the easy path, had reached too far and could not master himself or make good decisions for the right reasons. And it’s only do to an impulsive act that brought him back by saving his son who was willing to sacrifice himself for his father and the galaxy, that Anakin was able to restore the Balance by overthrowing his master, but finally for the right reasons, and it cost him his life. It’s a tragic moral tale. By granting Anakin such a position as in Ahsoka, it fundamentally undercuts that morality.

    While I agree large parts of Imperial hierarchy were incompetant, Palpatine & Vader were not! Hunting Jedi was Vader's hobby! No way were there that many Jedi survivors! Another cock up by Dismal Disney!

      bruh, think about it. A whole Galaxy is a HUGE space... irl it is hard for police to find 1 specific person in a country, let alone find 1 specific person in a whole galaxy. Also in this scale, even 100 jedi survivors are not many, it would be impossible to kill nearly everyone in such a short time and such a big space (you also have irl proof, noone was able to wipe an entire community in human history). Also it makes more sense that more jedi survived so the rebels have more to work with. Think about it, the imperium is the biggest galactic power that reigns all the galaxy... HOW THE FUCK a small group of rebels would win with them, for me it never made any sense, that rebels won with imperium, if you put it to a perspective it would be as if a group as small as a city would try to conquer the whole country. For me it was always a stupid plot armor and total nonsense that a small rebel group (small in a perspective, compared to the whole imperium forces) would win the war and conquer the imperium. So actually learning about other survivors would even the odds a little bit at least. This is just my opinion, but for me more survivors make complete sense

Gods Of The Forse: Long Ago Before Skywalker a Time Of Creation A Darkness and Light Battle Took Place a thousand years before Jedi or Sith in the blink of a star something was brought into existence the thought of the Forse being a first Skywalker Titan a Knight a soldier a warrior not the ancestor of Luke. The origins of the very beginning as there are myths and legends of our world have to legends of Star Wars: Lost Origins-legends the ancient history of Jedi and Sith and where they started in the very beginning a long time ago the ancestors of each story.

    lol “Disneys finally doing what George Lucas would of done…move forward”. That’s so ridiculous to say and there’s NOTHING to honestly suggest that. What?! The allowance of the “expanded universe”. lol You mean the never truly recognized fan fiction that had zero canonical approval?! 😂 Why be so ridiculous in some disingenuous attempt to rally fans around SW content? Especially when it’s Disney doing something with SW content G.L. Didn’t do… Disney is taking forward past what’s already known and been done. Nuff said

      @@gups4963 I did. I was there when it first came out. Whether it was comics in the newspaper or books. NONE OF IT was perfection, nor anything more than “huh” or “meh”. Getting tired of supposed fans thinking they know or could do better than what’s being done. When in reality they are just making it harder for any content of their supposed beloved franchise to be made at all! I wasn’t at all impressed with the sequel trilogy. It was marred with egos and conditional terms. However…. Rogue One, Solo, Andor, Kenobi, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka and The Acolyte have ALL been pretty decent. BUT NOW, because of self entitled “fan boys” we aren’t going to be getting much of anything outside of what’s been planned and committed to. So thanks for aiding in the stomping out of something you’ve claimed ya loved. It’d be nice if we could let the flowers grow instead of pruning them before they can even bloom.

    I love Hayden and he deserves to have more acknowledgment and recognition to the development of his character. I am so tired of the direction Disney has gone!
    Fed up with the fact that they have to do DEI CRAP to be able to get anything produced pushing or cramming it down the public's throat.
    I'm not interested in the Skeleton Crew, DESPISED the Acolyte considered GARBAGE. I have NO interest in anything Disney unless they bring back some credibility to both Obi-Wan, Anakin and Darth...who's still the MOST POPULAR VIDEOS, WHAT IF'S and STORYLINES on UA-cam.
