The show didn’t open the door for anything with the show did is let us know what’s important in Star Wars again no political agenda no gender politics no need for legacy characters as much as I would love to see Luke, Leia, and Han continue their journey the one line that was the most important line in Star Wars. The last Jedi was when Kylo Ren said it’s time to let old things die. Let’s have new stories in a galaxy far away.

The acolyte didn’t polarize the fandom. If anything, it united it… Just not in favor of the acolyte, And not in favor of the Disney Star Wars brand.

What I like most about Jod is that while we still have a black and white/good versus bad ethos in the bigger Star Wars Galaxy epic, he shows us that it's Not Always Easy to figure out good versus bad, even in ourselves. Especially right now when the world is trying to Other everyone but themselves. There are a billion stories in the Star Wars Galaxy and this was but one.

Pass on season two with these characters. Maybe do another show involving kids, like a boy and his dad, or other kids in the galaxy? It's just too bad we didn't get a blurb at the end (like at the beginning) saying the New Republic defeated piracy, and with At Attin as its financial backer had other "independent" systems join, and would go on to have 20-30 years of economic growth.

I wonder if the downward streak also being contributed with the introduction of commercials with all streaming services. The inclusion of commercials on cable channels helped people switch from cable to dishes, then the commercials on dishes switched to streaming, now streaming services force commercials on them. I cancelled my netflix account due to them adding commercials on them. CNN is mandating paid subscriptions along with over 3/4 of the screen covered in adds, so I will not sign up to pay for commercials.

Filoni created a brilliant point to reboot the franchise and start with Thrawn moving to the AT-worlds and using the credits to build his lost fleet and use a parallel, better Disney SW, following the EU’s storylines, that would improve the quality of the series overnight and be a machiavalistic trick out of his sleeve. And I think will pump up the value of both Lucasfilm and Disney to pre Darth Kennedy’s/ Darth Iger’s heights.

Loved this series and it was like the Original trilogy energy to it. The optimistic meaning was something precious. What happens next is more likely the kids and their parents are interviewed by someone who was on the Rebel Blockade Runner and I would have Princess Leia being that person . The fact that all the Original trilogy characters are in their prime makes for important decisions for AtAttin. Jod probably either gets with Luke and is healed of his past, or pleads for house arrest on AtAttin and rethinks becoming a good person. Ultimately, I don't know what Disney has up as everything keeps getting announced and then cancelled shortly after that.Loved your reviews

what about a show based in the new republic around the training of young new ppl for the republic fleet. would allow the kids to come back after the time jump and introduce more kids

What about the other jewels of the republic. We only saw the fate of two. Would be neat to see them all.

I'm intrigued by the implications and connections that can come from this Series' conclusion, since it's now officially part of The Mandoverse. I hope We find out the aspects and fates of the other 8 Jewels Of The Old Republic. I really do hope to see these unique planets (and their special treasures) depicted in both The High and The Old Republic.

The kids get the ship rebuilt as a reward... then they go find out why the autopilot still works over At-Achron, and how much of that planets subterranean automated systems still work with Neil's girlfriend who then joins the crew, before revisiting all of the Jewels. Adventures ensue of course. Naw I'm just kidding. The first season didn't have the viewership numbers. What's actually going to happen is we are going to hear At-Attin and or the jewels mentioned as background conversation in the next project. Hopefully Vane managed to escape again...

Disney got everyone by the hook with their characters and building mysteries around them. I hope they continue with season 2 of this show. It's good, but not bad. Not terrible.

I want to know what happens to Luthen. That’s where my mind keeps going. Is he just killed, or captured first? Makes more sense for him to be captured given how they built this up with Syril being able to recognize his voice, and him running into that arrestor ship which undoubtedly got a recording oh his voice. So how does he respond to torture, to questioning? How does the alliance respond to his absence?

If Inquisitors forced Jod to watch them kill his Jedi rescuer, what do you think the Inquisitors did to Jod? I think they conscripted him into their ranks. No idea how long he was with Inquisitors. I think it was they who taught him how to use a lightsaber, probably a double bladed one.
