The sith can't defeat the jedi directly they tried that and failed. So they have to have a longer plan. To put ideas into the general public that the jedi are the ones causing all the problems. And over time. When the jedi are turned on by the clones and called traitors people not surprised or bothered

Quimir could have just found a sith holocron and also believe that Sith went extinct a long time ago. He finds this holocron and tries to revive the sith without knowing that Tenebrous and Plageuis are out there. At the End they could be confronted by the real sith. That would be a cool plot twist imo

Generally I loved it. The fight scenes were great and the mystery of why and what happened has hooked me. Is it bad that indara (& Toban as well) got killed of so early, no, some people had to die of for this mystery and they are new characters, so that’s fine with me, Am interested in Indara? Definitely! Now could they have killed her off later? Well it depends how the rest plays out. For me it’s a solid start.

When Mae tried to attack him. He dodged her attacks with ease.

He seems to be manipulating Mae by making her think he works for her. But he gets her to do his bidding by twisting her thoughts. It could be him. Also he says he took the cloak from the shop keeper but I think he killed him without a problem as a sith.

I feel like Qimir is another Acolyte candidate, he and Maye are both competing to be the Sith apprentices Acolyte, meaning we don’t know who the masked person is at this time. That’s just my thought at this point.

The masked 'Sith' is the apprentice seeking his/her own apprentice to overthrow their master in accordance with the Rule of Two. It's probably a discount/new version of Darth Tenebrous (if even that, given Disney doesn't give a toss about the lore).

I enjoyed the first two episodes of "The Acolyte" very much. Among live-action Star Wars series, I would rank it (so far!) below "Andor" and "The Mandalorian", but above "The Book of Boba Fett" and "Obi-Wan Kenobi", so roughly tied with "Ahsoka". I eagerly await more episodes.

I truly hope it’s Tenebrous & he’s searching for his next apprentice, so he’s testing the Acolytes to see which one makes the cut. It would be dope asf if Qimir ended up becoming Darth Plagueis.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say the Sith is Jedi Master Indara. On the beach the Sith made a point of saying that Jedi can't be killed with lightsaber or blade (or laser or blade)--soemthing to that effect. And we have prior proof of that in 'Kenobi' and 'Asoka.' When Indara is 'killed' by Mae, we see no body, no autopsy, no force ghost. (Quick question, how do Jedi mourn their fallen comrades?) We only have an eyewitness who later points to OSHA as committing the alleged crime. And it was a crime that looked more like a 'final test' if not a rehearsal. At any point during that fight Indara could've killed or at least anesthetized Mae with a flying brick or whiskey bottle propelled by the force. So yeah . . . standing way out on a limb with this theory.

Later i'll add them via couple websites & to blog post 🙂 Gonna restream both episodes before third one lands. Aesthetics, Soundtrack & Wardrobe are quite nice so far. I wish good streaming times to everyone & share el good word 🙂

I thought this same thing. It makes too much sense. He's playing Luthen Rael from Andor, only a dark sider. It's one of poetic things that rhyme in Star Wars. Well, not a perfect one to one but a Force User under cover as an innocent shop owner, both of them up to nefarious activities. One working against the Empire for the rebellion, the other helping to undermine the Jedi and therefore, the Republic. I was thinking he's not a Sith Lord though. He might think he's Sith, like say, Ventress. A Sith Assassin closer to the Master than Mae is. I think the Sith Lord's apprentice is training Qirin on the side, like the Sidious-Dooku-Ventress dynamic. Or he's a rogue Sith Lord like Maul and Savage Oppress. Either way, it's him!

IMHO, Vernestra Rwoh is very suspicious. *Every* discussion with her is pompous, obstructionist, filled with delays & politics, insincere, and soaked in manipulation. They KNEW the next Jedi was in jeopardy and she wants a MEETING instead of a rescue? Come on. Inserting an enemy in the ranks is standard sabotague. From the Jedi Council she could reject good Jedi candidates and stuff the ranks with flawed, manipulated, inappropriate recruits to ruin the whole organization. She also looks very young for her real age, but her appearance is definitely "off".... almost like a Sith using "unnatural abilities" to try to look "young", and not corrupted by the dark side... and not quite succeeding (like Palpatine could not hide his "scars"). Plus one of the sensitive younglings sensed "fire" when Rwoh walked in the classroom... perhaps the child was picking up on a nearby Sith...? Who better to recruit to the Sith side than a former "prodigy" Jedi... who might be a little too prideful about their "prodigy" history? Her smug handwave at the door was... Ostentatious and prideful. Who is she showing off for? The kids? A Jedi who changes a standard defensive lightsaber that is traditionally used as a last resort & as a shield - and converting that into a coercive, torture related weapon, in a *purple* colour one, no less... Very telling. I also think the "twins" might be not really naturally occuring twins, or a natural Force "dyad", but are, instead, ONE person who was violently, unnaturally split into twins by Sith powers. The Sith around that time *were* experimenting in medical manipulations, including pregnancies. Remember, Anakin's mother was impregnated without a father. Palpatine interferred in Padme's pregnancy, killing her. Sith love to manipulate pregnancies. This *is* the time period of Palpatine's Master (or that Master's Master), so it's likely they were experimenting and would eventually teach Palpatine their secrets, including "unnatural abilities". Perhaps the coven was convinced to participate in the Sith experiment. Or the coven were already dark-aligned and a Sith used them. Or, perhaps they were *WORSE* than the Sith thought, and the Sith were defeated/used. Perhaps the coven were practicing "unnatural" people-splitting or other experiments on many members. There seem to be many women and few men. Maybe they believed in child sacrifice (by fire?) Perhaps boys were killed off, and girl zygotes were split? Or worse, children were split in childhood? Or, maybe they are "Mother" (Abeloth) devotees and the Sith got much more than they bargined for? (After all, the Mortis Gods are coming...) That Sith mask looks like Abeloth's mouth... its an average start.... but it can still be good and who or what this red saber is holds the key..... a good big bad could really work.... draw out a real jedi too.....

I'm pretty sure Qimir (played by Manny Jacinto) is a Sith apprentice, with plans to make Mae *his* apprentice once he has killed his master (most likely Darth Tenebrous). Part of what makes me think Qimir is a Sith is that, firstly, he knows the Sith Code, and secondly, Manny has played a similar role before. For those who don't know, he once played the role of a Buddhist monk in a show called "The Good Place," who took a vow of silence. However, it is revealed after a few episodes that he was actually a pretty stupid guy simply pretending to be a monk to avoid going to Hell. So, Manny has experience playing these kind of double roles, and I'm sure that's in no small part why he was hired for this role.

Hi Just Star Wars, I love your channel so much. I think that eventually Osha is going to turn to the dark side and become “ The Acolyte”. I rewatched the premiere and I noticed when Mae and Osha found each other, Osha was more angry and yes she had a stun gun but looked like she’s out for revenge on Mae for killing her family. But Mae looks relieved that Osha is alive so she’ll probably want to kill the Jedi but protect Osha? Also I think further we get on that Osha is going to reconnect to the force to take down Qmir and then use the red lightsaber
