During college I took a few Geology classes and one of them involved a 2-week road trip to a few geological feature stops including Bryce Canyon. Our instructor gave us the details on the rock formations and its history and all I can say is that it is just incredible on how Mother Nature works. She produces some of the most fascinating landscapes around the U.S. I am proud to say that now part of my job is to protect and preserve some of these features in the park system in California. Love my job!
That sounds like a fun class! Mother Nature is awesome! That’s amazing you’ve made a career out of it! Thank you for doing that and thanks for watching!
I just went here a month ago and let me just say this was something to behold. I have never seen a scenery this impressive and jaw dropping in my entire life back here in California in all my 20 years of life. This just makes me even more proud of being in America and having all these dozens of national parks that no other country has and that I have yet to visit so to everyone watching, it is worth the visit.
Brrrrr.... early morning cold! The contrast of the white snow against the orange backdrop is just stunning. The loop hike looked incredible. Wall Street sounds awesome. That Fairyland loop trail was amazing as well! ICE CREAM !!! Natural bridge was stunning!
Bryce is one of my very favorite National Parks, and sunrise is a must! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stood at the Rim with snow gear on. Like you said, it’s completely magical, and with snow, the hoodoos are even more incredible! Watching your video is making me think it’s time to head back over. ❤️
Wow oh wow!!! I couldn't stop saying "wow" throughout this entire vlog!!!! This has got to be some of the most scenic and unique scenery anywhere in the world! This was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
That's true.. Sunrise in canyon is in bucketlist... We saw many sunsets between canyons.. The color reflaction is incredible. I can imagine the beauty of sunrise with my closed eyes.. Thank u guys for sharing
Bryce is one of our favorites! We've said when we go back it has to be when there is some snow. That's awesome you all got to see that beautiful orange and white combo!
I really enjoyed coming along your hike! When you said your 2nd hike of the day was an 8 mile hike- crazy! You guys have amazing stamina! Love the snickers break- ending with sunset- you made the most out of your day for sure!!!
I really like that y’all keep it real on this video unlike some other people I’ve watched about hiking. Y’all actually show yourselves taking a break because you’re out of breath. Y’all even had snickers ice cream! 😊
Every time you guys release a video we say “wow that was their best one yet!!” But seriously. This was really special. Thanks for taking us into the canyon on the hikes - that scenery was nothing short of breathtaking! Bryce Canyon National Park has a good ring to it - we can petition with Adam 😆
Thank you so much! The snow was an awesome bonus! And long days have become a bit regular around here (worth it though!). Looking forward to sleep someday haha!
We went to Bryce in January, I’ve never felt that level of cold in my life! It was 3 degrees but with windchill it was -6! Both of our water bladders were frozen all day long haha! Fairyland loop was by far our favorite, didn’t see another soul for miles
@@AdventuresofAplusK it was our 1st visit, snow and slush on the trail. It was obviously exposed. Ok. I dont remember lol, but ive been on ALL. We just keep roaming with hydration packs and food....
Wow guys, impressive. I've been visiting Bryce every year for over 20 years and I've never attempted the Queens Garden / Navajo Loop AND the Fairyland Loop on the same day. ...and then you hit virtually EVERY pull out along the park road. Wow, way to go!
My wife and I are going to visit for a day for the first time. Day trip up from Zion. We're fit enough to do either hike, but not sure about both. If only doing one which would you recommend? Navajo/Queens or Fairland loop? Thanks
@chiefnakoma Both hikes are great. I would probably recommend the Fairyland Loop. It's longer both in time and distance than Navajo-Queens Garden, so I'd make the decision based upon the time you have available.
@@SteveSchmorleitz the plan is to get up there early for the entire day, so I think we'll do the Fairland loop for a longer hike and less crowds. Then, do the scenic drive and vistas. But if we are fatigued from earlier Zion hikes or the weather isn't perfect, the other hike is a good back up. Thanks for advice
This may be my favorite video of yours yet!! But then I say that after many of your videos. But really, this might be my favorite! Bryce Canyon is a wonder! I love the idea of going the time of early spring that you did, so there was still snow adding to the beauty. Can’t thank you enough for the videos you make; they are so inspirational, informative, wacky, and fun!
Sunrises are gorgeous to begin with but when you add in canyons and hoodoos, you have a spectacular experience!!! I loved your shadow waving! Your filming and creativity are just awesome! Keep up the awesome vlogs! 😘❤️❤️😍
Another way to see Bryce Canyon is at night when there is a full moon. Talk about oohs and ahhs! It’s unbelievable. I have lived in Utah all my life. As a family we would always travel to Bryce (staying at Ruby Inn campground) and Zion. I cannot count the times I’ve been there. In the summertime they have a wagon ride and cookout with a short program. It’s great. Thanks for highlighting our pretty great state. From the north to the south there is so many different things to see.
A full moon would be SO cool! Cannot imagine how magical that is to see it lit up at night! And Utah is full of so many incredible sights, we already have a good list for next time we are here and we haven’t left yet lol!
Bryce Canyon NP is a wonderful place to hike and explore. I visited this NP on Oct 3 and 4, 2024. The 2.2 mile Rim trail from Bryce Point to Sunset Point is breathtaking and relatively flat. The 0.7 mile Navajo loop trail is more difficult as hikers have to descend 500 ft to join the 2-mile Queen’s Garden trail to Sunrise Point. I had a minor disaster - the soles of my shoes started to come off in the middle of the hike. On top of that, my feet got blisters. Fortunately, Angelina, an exchange student from Switzeland, gave me her hair band to tie one shoe temporarily. Her host, Gerald from Michian, gave me bandages for the blisters. Thank you Angelina and Gerald. You are wonderful.
I've been binging your videos the last several days and I love seeing the places you go out west! I especially loved this video because it was hiking and views and a trail lunch!
those snowy hikes mixed with fires and rocks really adds to the ambiance. We did one at Big Bear CA that was pretty epic and at the end it opens up to the opposite side of the mountain and more snow.
Your shots of the view are so beautifully taken (it's almost like you had a full crew or something)! And it made me feel like I was back there again! Thank you for this!
Starting almost every adventure at sunrise has been the BEST decision here in Utah! And if we aren’t near our van or near a restroom, we use nature 😉 Thankfully that doesn’t happen too often!

Really enjoying your Utah trip. In Sept 2018 my son and I spent 15 days exploring (tent camping) all of the Big 5, and several state parks. Took well over 1,600 pictures! Still haven't culled all of them as it is really hard to do so. Looking at your videos bring back a lot of great memories. You really can't find a "bad" place at all. Thanks for sharing.
Your trip sounds amazing! And we know the feeling on too many photos. Lately I just edit the handful I know I love and then eventually get to the rest haha
It should be warmer! The morning will likely be cold (but not as cold as we had) and the afternoons are perfect! We got hot in jackets, but were mostly too lazy to take them off 😅
There was a little bit of snow still there last week when we was there! I wanted so bad to go down with the hoodoos but I was afraid I couldn’t get back up!😂 Thank you for taking me with y’all! I was surprised to see Prairie Dogs there!
Hello Adventurers, Wow! You went to Bryce with snow on the ground! How cool or cold😊is that. I absolutely love Bryce Canyon National Park and those interesting hoodoos. I remember my time there and lingering amongst the hoodoos and hiking the Navajo Loop. What goes down must come back up lol!!😊😊😊. Great video as always👍👍. Hey, have you drivin all of Scenic Highway 12 from Bryce to Capitol Reef? If you haven't, do it! I've done it 4 times and it's an absolutely INCREDIBLE drive!
So perfect because I saw your videos for the first time yesterday because you were where I live, Page! And we are going to Bryce for the first time this weekend and have no idea what to do. Very very helpful 👍👍
We did this exact same thing with our kids. We did the Fairlyland Loop counter-clockwise and had the same hike on our way back to the car. It was brutal! But so worth it!!! Thanks for your videos, love them!
I did the Fairyland Loop in 1998. it is still one of the most magnificent hike I have ever done. So thanks for sharing your journey at this gorgeous trail. I have to say I agree with you totally: the rim trail back to Sunrise Point is the most unpleasant part of the trail. You are exhausted. The scenery is no longer stunning. You just want it to be over and done with but somehow the trail seems to keep dragging on. I feel your pain at 12:09 😂😎
@@AdventuresofAplusK You actually said it yourself at 8:46: you missed the memo 😁🤣. Everyone in the know goes clockwise to avoid the rim trail in the end. I wish I knew that in 1998. 😛
Wow so breathtakingly beautiful. I think I will name a child Hoodoo! And dye their hair pink. Lol. I agree this park is A list bucket list! And u did not even discuss the night stars. Utah is a stunner and this is the pink gem!
WOW!!! I mean Zion looks amazing but holy moly those Hoodoos at Bryce are unbelievable. I swear I need to talk the hubby into heading West to vacation. Our flat SE Michigan landscape is pretty darn boring😂. Another wonderful video you guys. Thanks for taking us with you on your journey.
Great videos! 👏 Been to the usa 3 times. 2 time on the west, 1 time florida. Love Love Love to come back to the west again 🥰🥰🎉 Greetings from fhe netherlands 🤩
After watching your video and a recommendation from a couple we met on the road, we did the fairyland loop yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. I am exhausted but it was totally worth it!
LOL! Many times have been to Brice, always made Sunrise at sunrise. So far we have covered nearly the same ground on these outings, wish I had it to do over again, your 👍.
Very informative and full of helpful tips. Zion and Bryce are on my road trip bucket list for October 2021. Hope for some fall colors in the area but NO snow!🤞
Another great video! Just found you guys on UA-cam not too long ago and love your material! Really enjoyed watching your twos video! I traveled to Bryce Canyon a week ago and spent half a day there. Everything was so gorgeous!
It’s such a gorgeous park and we love that you can see it in a shorter amount of time!
You guys are the absolute best
Hahahah great minds think alike Jymn! 😂🙌🏼 thanks so much for the kind words (as always)! ❤️
Love the bloopers at the end of the videos 😂🤣😀
Hahaha we’re so glad! We try to catch as much as we can on camera 😂
There was a little bit of snow still there last week when we was there! I wanted so bad to go down with the hoodoos but I was afraid I couldn’t get back up!😂 Thank you for taking me with y’all! I was surprised to see Prairie Dogs there!
We saw signs for the prairie dogs, but never saw any! We love them though, they are so cute! And we are so glad you got to see the snow!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Prairie Digs was right past the visitors center on the left side. There wasn’t that many of them not like in South Dakota
I’m glad I watched your vlogs! I’m going to Zion and Bryce in 3 weeks and your tips about the trails will be helpful!
We are so glad they have helped! Have an amazing time!
At the end there was this rock that looked like an angel it was awesome
Ah nice! We didn’t notice that
Hello Adventurers, Wow!
Hahaha the trails there change elevation constantly! Lots of huffing and puffing 😂 And we did do that drive and it was stunning! 😍😍
Can’t wait to visit this Utah national park too thanks for the info!
All of the Utah NPs are amazing! We hope you can make it there sometime!
Wow! Love this one too. Snickers bar for the win.
It was the BEST post hike treat!
So perfect because I saw your videos for the first time yesterday because you were where I live, Page! And we are going to Bryce for the first time this weekend and have no idea what to do. Very very helpful 👍👍
Ahhh LOVE when we have good timing! Have an amazing time and thanks for finding us!
We did this exact same thing with our kids. We did the Fairlyland Loop counter-clockwise and had the same hike on our way back to the car. It was brutal! But so worth it!!! Thanks for your videos, love them!
Definitely a challenge, but definitely worth it! Thanks and thanks for watching!
I feel your pain at 12:09 😂😎
Hahaha it drug on and on! Next time we will get that part over with first!
Hahaha love it! And if only we had the energy to do sunrise, hike all day, and stay up for the night sky! We’ve missed out on that here, but 😴😴
Yes!!! Let us know if you need any help convincing 😉😉
Great videos! 👏
Been to the usa 3 times. 2 time on the west, 1 time florida.
Love Love Love to come back to the west again 🥰🥰🎉
Greetings from fhe netherlands 🤩
We hope you can make it back soon! 🥰
After watching your video and a recommendation from a couple we met on the road, we did the fairyland loop yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. I am exhausted but it was totally worth it!
Yay!! So happy you did it! VERY exhausting, but so much epic scenery!
Another great video. ❤️❤️❤️👍
Thanks Matt!
Those switchbacks are a killer midsummer days.
We bet!
Great video. The elevation kicked my butt hiking out of the Queens loop in 2018. Safe travels you 3
The elevation everywhere has been kicking our butts lately 😂 It’s tough out here!
LOL! Many times have been to Brice, always made Sunrise at sunrise. So far we have covered nearly the same ground on these outings, wish I had it to do over again, your 👍.
Sunrise is SO worth it there! 😍
Didn't know that such a beautiful place existed!
It feels like another world!
Thank you so much for sharing 👍🏻☀️
Thanks so much for watching Jana!
Great video guys 👍🙂
Thank you so much!!
Very informative and full of helpful tips.
Zion and Bryce are on my road trip bucket list for October 2021. Hope for some fall colors in the area but NO snow!🤞
Fingers crossed Hank!!! Fall colors would be really cool to see there!
Excellent video and music!
Thanks, Jules!
I miss this!! Beautiful camera work!
Thank you so much!
Another great video! Just found you guys on UA-cam not too long ago and love your material! Will definitely be checking out your Southwest videos, as me and hubby will be traveling to the same places you have been visiting recently in your vlogs. Will also check out your travel guides on your website. Nice work, you two! Keep hiking! Possibly see you on the trail soon.
