Manoa Falls Hawaii Waterfall Hike through Aquaman 2 Set, Honolulu Oahu HI

We happened to do the Manoa Falls hike while they were setting up to film Aquaman 2. If you look real closely you can see the back of Jason Momoa's stunt doubles head while rehearsing.

Is it completely blocked off below the falls ? I was there around 12 or more years ago and you could go right up to the pool below the falls. Maybe someone got hurt or acts of disrespect for the nature so they blocked it off.

They opened a new path within the last year to give the vegetation along the old trail a chance to regrow. You could climb down to the base of the waterfall but you're not supposed to
