I believe my ex husband is on the DL. He fits all the signs he’s very homophobic. Yet his little brother is gay. I would read books about dl men and it pissed him off. Once he knocked my book out my hand. I watched his eyes when we would be out and saw him make quick eye contact with men. Once I couldn’t reach him and I went to his guy friends house. The friend lived in his mother’s garage. I walked in and only saw the friend. I asked where my husband was. He pointed at his bed. My husband was so snuggled in this man’s bed that I didn’t even see him laying there in the fetal position. He was under the covers drooling on this man’s pillows. I never seen a man lie in another man bed that comfortable. He only had on shorts. No shirt . Mind you this is Mr homophobic himself. I once took him to my aunts house. She rented a room to a gay couple. I introduced him to the masculine one. My husband was watching this man so hard he saw that him and the feminine guy was going in the same bedroom down the hall. He ask me was he gay. I said yes. My husband said ugh I shook his hand. Same dude cuddled in his homeboy’s sheets 🤡. I disagree that all gay people are born this way. My husband was molested by his older sister and I believe he in turn molested his little brother who was 9 years younger and made him gay. Now seeing that he grew up with his little brother being gay the boy is very feminine you would think he would be more understanding and tolerable of gay people. If he didn’t have anything to do with why he’s gay. But his homophobia is from his denial in his own sexuality and shame I believe. To top it off he keeps having babies my different women. I got with him when I was young. But he was never romantic. There was zero intimacy outside of sex. Sex was robotic and when he finished he would immediately go to sleep or go play his video game. I appreciate your knowledge, but am grateful that that part of my life is over. These young women out here thinking that the traditional family is within their grasp have a lot of learning to do. There are so many obstacles that can be devastating to find out after a family has already been established. My hope is that all young women get their education and establish their own comfortable life. That way, if she does get into a relationship, that doesn’t work, she will still have what she came into it with. If she is not chosen, then she will always be able to have the life that she can provide for herself. It’s a sad world we live in. A lot of this behavior comes down to selfishness.

Why would you betray yourself every waking day just to keep a relationship with a DL man? What if he he one day decides to live his truth and then up and leave you even though you stayed with him. I don't think the wife in the 15 year relationship with the DL man should stay. Years ago I was invited to attend a meeting of men who prefer sex with men.
And they were truly opening up about their feelings and sexual preferences. Thr group wanted a woman's point of view. That's when I first discovered MSM men who like to have sex with men. I sat and listened they discussed how they hide this from their families. Just one gentleman said he didnt hide his wife knew, but she was getting okay with it and yes, he was caucasion. I humbly asked for them to excuse my ignorace, but I needed to know what's the difference between being bisexual, gay or msm? It was explained to me that MSM is just a reaction. Its like scratching an inch. There's no emotional involvement. No love, you don't even have to like the individual.
They like the act, they like the sensation of the act. I asked about gay. They said the gays are looking for a loving relationship and we're not. I asked about bisexual. The answer was somewhat convoluted, but what I glean from it is the bisexual man has attraction to other men more than just sex, but before it turns into love.
Whereas the MSM man is like some guys like to go play basketball or watch sports get that thrill and rush. They get it by having sex with other men. I do agree that some can stop. God revealed to me a guy that didn’t want to be gay but was. I think he was molested as a child. Some people just don’t know how to get out of it if they want to. It’s called spiritual bondage and it comes in many forms.

For the record, in my human sexuality class my professor gave me a B in my class instead of an A because he said that “as long as the man is penetrating another man, he is NOT considered gay.” He is a white male and regardless of race, many men in general feel the same way. I do not agree. Just because a man treats you right, you should never except what God says is an abomination unto him. God will excuse you , if you’re innocent and don’t know about it, he might even protect you from catching a disease, but if you knowingly except that you man is sleeping with another man, than you just as guilty. I walked out of my marriage because my husband was cheating with another woman, and was not remorseful. I had a beautiful life with him, he paid for everything, I had a beautiful home, and he was good to me. I always thank God for him, and though, that I was the luckiest woman in the world. I loved him like no other, but I couldn’t tolerate it, and was dying inside, I rather live by myself, and for the first time in my life, I am living alone and I have God. I purchased my own home, and I am doing well on my own. The thought of sleeping with a man, that’s sleeping with other man, makes me nauseous. Before I ever excepted someone like that, I will remain single and celibate. It’s only a matter of time before catching aids, and whatever plague that God is planning to send for them. That’s what I was thinking. I hear a lot of mention of catching this that and the other but those same risks apply whether it’s a woman or a man. It appears that there is more sympathy or understanding when a man is cheating with a woman.
