Yes, hopefully sites can return back to normal too, but costs need to come back down. With wages about to increase its another blow that will unfortunately increase prices or stop a drop in site prices I feel.

It seemed that new vans shot up in price after covid , more than was proportionate to the manufacturers costs. A good example is Adria , we ordered a new altea start of 2021, 18 months later the price was over £8000 more. The van we brought would have been out of our price range if we hadn’t ordered it when we did. Obviously a £8000 increase is far more than adrias manufacture and transport costs increase .
yes it was dealer greed. and an adria is only a cheapo caravan. how csan they justify an extra 8 grand ? materials would still be the same stuff in the yard at the beginning of covid. i remember the manufacturers complaining because they had factorys full of materials and nobody allowed to go to work.....
Don't forget that the £ has slumped against the Euro and that will have hit the cost of imported vans like Adrias. So it's not just manufacturing and transport costs in there.
The costs of caravan sites is outrageous, cost of pitch, additional persons, awning charge, pet charge, electric charge and additional car charge makes caravaning too expensive for families. Cheaper in a B&B. On top of that the inflated cost of the unit and them maintenance and repair, if your caravan is older the cost of parts is frightening, a small toilet skylight for my 2006 elddis £300 just for the part.
It across all caravan industries caravan site fees up a lot, tow cars gone up stupid prices if you can get one electric car are useless for towing I am on my last year warranty for my elddis which has put me off buying another one so I am running it down till scrap same as my mondeo estate nowv14 years old only 88thousand miles tha will last me another 10years I been caravaning since 1974
Total Sales Jargon….. Caravans are a depreciating assets which means they devalue over time, on average 20% per year for 3 years and thereafter 10% …. The caravan consumer is typically working class client who more often than not cannot afford a Camper van, because of price gouging during Covid by dealers, consumers are voting with their feet and staying away because of excessive costs of caravan parks and insurance costs. It’s basically the Law of Diminishing returns. ❤❤❤ He’s a good Del Boy 😅
Surely the price drop over 12 months is due to the van being older, besides that the market of used vans is being saturated with vans from the result in covid purchased vans by people who weren't going abroad at the time, demand then put prices up so now there's obviously going to be a fall back to norm. As in the car trade the rise in interest rates have put people off buying, this does affect what you can charge, no one who is a experienced caravan owner is prepared to pay covid tax on top of high interest rates.
Regarding caravan site prices, similar thing happened 30 odd years ago when the sites became greedy, It was far cheaper for a family to holiday abroad to the "del sols" than camp for a fortnight in the uk.
Great video Mark. Any market doesn't keep rising and rising, there has to be a levelling off point somewhere and this is usually preceded by a drop in prices. It will be good to get back to a normal market place but unfortunately some of us will lose money if we bought at the peak. We all accept that when you buy a new car your trade in/ resale price will be lower than you paid for it and this is really no different in the caravan market.
Agreed, buying new, straight away resale price much lower as soon as you take it off the forecourt, but it was the new sale prices that were overly inflated…as Gordon gecko said “greed is good”…
I do think another of people are not happy with the big increase in fees for some sites also people are being charged for dogs I recently saw a site charging £5 a night per dog this is just my personal thoughts.
Great video! I really like your style - the running narration about the market whilst giving us a great preview of lots of vans without stating they have cupboards you can put things in & a stove you can cook on, etc. Lots of info and in a quite timely manner with a pleasant non screechy voice/accent. Good camera work too. Well done the pair of you! 😄😄
Hahaha, I should have added that I'm an Aussie & nearly all the caravan/RV ads we seem to get are from the US with rabid salesmen speaking in extremely excitable high pitched screeches, whereas your voice was so smooth and easy to listen to. It may also be influenced by my having a British mother so I naturally prefer a British accent! 😂
In the Netherlands it is exactly the same. Many new caravans are sold with a discount of 2-3000 euros, and many new campers are sold with a discount of 5-6000 euros.
Great update video and what you say makes sense. We purchased our 5 year old caravan in late August and we could see over the couple of months we were looking how prices had fallen a tad. As you say swings and roundabouts and if you change all prices have come down so the price to change should be somewhere near the same. 😀😀
There is a major correction coming in the motorhome market. Eight year old motorhomes being advertised for more than what they cost new is not a normal situation. We bought a new Elddis motorhome in 2016 for £39K. New price today is over £65K which is well above the rate of inflation. A number of 2016 models of the same motorhome (now eight years old) are currently for sale on Autotrader for over £40K!!!!!
I was a caravanner for over 30 years. In my view whats happened in the caravan world. Anybody with the right car could tow a caravan. Not now over a certain weight ! You have to take a towing test ! .This has put alot of younger people of caravanning. I used to go away for a month at a time using a leisure battery, now everybody wants electric hook ups micro waves, a tele and so the list goes on. Narrow boats holidays have gone the same way. Where Caravan holidays were cheap not anymore. Young families could buy a cheap van and go away for their holidays . How times have changed...
It’s good to see the prices going back down for you all. New Caravans as well as used are still massively over priced in Australia due to the COVID holiday craze and rental property affordability issues, hopefully our prices are not too far behind you.
Slightly off topic, but I saw that van layout at the NEC show last week, Who in their right mind puts the bathroom in the middle of the van so you have to walk through it to get to the bathroom. Anyone who wants to get to or from the bedroom has to pass anyone straining on the bog. You can't even close off the toilet with a door from anyone walking through.
Been well overpriced for 3 years now. Everyone is going abroad now after COVID. Motorhome are the same. Values have dropped 25% over the last 2 years. Cost of fuel is also an issue.
When we were kids caravanning was cheap and that’s why it was so popular. It’s as expensive now as any other option of holidays. You need a massive car, running costs on the car, vans are ridiculous on the pricing and campsites are way to expensive, that’s the reason it’s gone to the clappers.
1) As long as those people who bought last year out right in cash they are ok but if people bought on loans or PCP their now be in negative equity. 2) I don’t think the full market cycle has complete the motor home market will get hit as a) people are still reducing spending b) production exceeds demand c) people who bought in during COVID return to their old holiday routines and try to offload their purchases.
Im a caravan/motorhome valeter in Devon and ive been valeting alot of caravans for customers to sell. Main reason i am seeing is the families just havent got the spare cash for an expensive luxury. The people who have the cash like the retirement age group seem to be riding it out.
Since selling our van to a dealer & the dealer making a huge profit from it, we've been looking at getting a motorhome. There's some dealers that are still over pricing & others that are open to sensible offers, indeed there's a dealer in your part of the country that's told us the market is extremely quiet & are wanting to deal with anyone ready to buy. On asking how much off an advertised £39,995 used motorhome, they've said they can reduce it to £34k. They're desperate for sales.
Hi mate just thought I'd get your opinion on prewash for a van in storage covered in algae, would an apc be safe for the windows at a 20.1 or 10.1 dilution...thanks
@@richardkirk9421 I always do a pre spray around with Autoglym Clean All (apc) doing the panel I am about to clean. Just do not let it dry. I tend not to spray direct onto the windows. I have also used Rhino Goo Caravan cleaner with good results
Prices are coming down in Australia, when we bought our van 6 months ago they were only on the market for a week or two, now they have dropped around 5K AUS and are taking months to sell.
The dealer I bought mine off back in November . Told me he is selling more to full time van lifers than lesiure users. And it has been a bit of a life saver for him. I suppose the economic & high rent climate gives some a boost.
I always wondered why the U.K made caravans are not so popular in Australia The "bad to shocking" roads here would just Kill them too quickly (due the materials and designs used) as even the locally made dual axle Caravans can get badly damaged when the wet weather destroys the B roads. And all that sloped and skylight style of glazing and lack of air conditioning would be like an oven 9 months of the year here. Beautifully finished vans in the U.K though and at least half the price of what we have to pay for that size.
caravan prices always seem odd to me. i stay with a couple of mates in one off season. at the camp they are also selling the caravans, 30 thousand plus, it's like paying for decades of holidays in advance except the caravan will bite the dust before that time has elapsed. unless you really love the place the caravan is and visit every other weekend i cant get my head around it.
I agree the market has been a roller coaster and has put some buyers off either with the prices going to high or dropping to much a bit of equilibrium would be nice for the up coming season.
Bought a second hand caravan last week and got it very cheap from a private seller , it will be alot cheaper for me and the family to go away in than paying the price of hotels throughout Ireland
Several reasons. Supply and reduced demand. Over inflated dealer prices. Loads of issues with water ingress from Elddis, Bailey and swift. Coachman always at the top of the list for quality. No choice anymore with only 4 major British manufacturers. Adria blasts them all out of the park for quality and longevity.
It's just boring bland beige fibreglass boxes all look the same. Expensive to buy, insure and keep. You need a larger car too. When it comes to AirB&B workout far cheaper, the goes for same motor homes unless your fulltime.
I was in #Brownhills at weekend having service never seen it so full of vans and motorhomes for sale… to replace my 2 year old van now for exactly small model it would be 20k more absolutely ridiculous servicing has also gone up it’s the last time I will be visiting will be using independents for hab checks and servicing in future..Second Motorhomes and vans have got discounts but they are still overpriced you mentioned some dealers may be going under it will be same for motorhome dealers sat with massive new stock no one buying.
Hi Mark, great video, agreed with 99% of what you said, but I do think we are having to adjust our pricing because people aren’t buying. I’m definitely not seeing footfall on the four court, which has effected sales, there are going to be a lot of deals on new like you said this year, I got out of new just in time. Also there seems to be a lot of people getting out of caravaning, being offered lots of stock. The motorhome market hasn’t suffered as much because the people buying those aren’t so concerned with rise in the cost of everything, and the market had been on hold due to a lack at parts for a few years, so that log jam has now been realised. Hopefully as the nights draw out it’ll stimulate the market a bit.
Great to hear 👍yes would say the same on footfall. But been a good January on sales though so fingers crossed, for the rest of the season. I'm now starting to compare figures from before Covid to get a good idea on where things are, last auction prices were very strong also. Been pleasantly surprised with the amount of first timers, due to a rubbish summer for tents. A big increase for families looking and buying again. Still funny how people think dealers were making huge profits during covid. ( If only) 👍
On our numerous travels to many motorhome dealers, many are doing nothing with us being their only customers overs many hours. We're ready to buy but with the market being so slow, we're only doing so when we find the right motorhome at the right price. We lost many many thousands on our van to a greedy dealer offering us little, but making a huge £5k profit on it. We're not going down that road again.

Unfortunately 5k isn’t a huge profit on a Motorhome when you take into consideration the risk factor, I’d say that’s the minimum they’d need to make, don’t forget the vat has to come out, cost of preparation, and all the overheads we have as dealers..
Quality of caravans is shocking now, even though prices kept going up. Same with motorhomes. However campsites charging exorbitant fees hasn't helped. Buy a caravan, and you'll find you can't afford to use it much as the stays on sites are prohibitory.
Not here in Aus. Our waiting list is out to 22 months. We like others had to cop a 20% increase in productions costs. So I would be very careful whom you buy off because margins are so fine they might not be here tomorrow.
6 months on from your video, seems prices are still rising and dealers deals are very poor even though they seem to have a lot of stock, to buy a base model 2 berth bailey gt75 420 small van for 23599 and seems 2025 has no update and prices will be £24500 WTAF, its crazy
My last quote for a pitch C&CC Scarborough 7nights £133, Flower of May Filey 7night £199, Large caravan sites robbing people who are stuggeling to pay their heating bills and now cannot afford a holiday.
2019 new £25k, used price now £20k 2014 new £18k used price now £13k But since then we saw a big increase in inflation and new prices. So I would say we are back on track with prices to a sensible level.
We have been hit with the drop we bought a brand new caravan in July last year now the 2024 is up for sale for £3k less than what we paid. gutting really, but it is what it is.
It's difficult when the prices have taken a quick drop, but it will now level out. But you have hopefully had holidays already, if you look at going away for 1 week, you won't get much change from £3k and only have a few pics and memories. You can have as many holidays as you want, when you want.
I personally believe that prices have simply settled back to pre pandemic prices. Prices went through the roof with "Staycations". I sold our van 2 years ago, when prices had gone ridiculously high, as second hand cars had and originally bought it for £14.000 and sold as ive said 2 years ago and got 14500. As prices have dropoed. I maybe once again in the market for new to us van 😊
In my opinion, after Covid there was a knee jerk reaction to foreign travel & people with no real idea rushed out & bought Tents, C/vans & Campers. After that its just supply & demand. The builders over produced to match the market but the market returned to its old habits. Now they will all be holding too much stock, which they have to pay for after 28 days. So with a 2K discount offered I will be puching for a 5K price slash this next month. I might not get it, but I will be pushing for it. Hope everyone else takes the same approach.
Try buying a static. You’ll need to be seated when the greedy site owners offer you what you bought it for. You’ll be lucky to get blow on a rag mans trumpet for it. The depreciation is phenomenal.🤨😤💰💰💰
@@PKSiAMiAM you are allowed to tow a caravan upto 3500kg, even if you passed your test after 1997. You now have B+E entitlement even if passed after 1997.
Towing of caravans by EVs are to be included in new legislation due to the combined weight of EVs and caravan which would prohibit larger heavier caravans been towed, apart from the obvious poor range and charging infrastructure, the net zero dream strikes another own goal in Great Britain's leisure industry.
Well the difference is that, he's talking about the European Market and not other places like the U.S. and other places. But, those things aren't cheap either, it's good that the prices do drop.
Has there been any discussion over what happens to the caravan market if the EV. push is intensified. I worked for 1 of the big site network organisations and I can see problems not only with charging on route (most of the charging bays are next to a through lane so you can't charge with the van hooked up) but also with maybe 80 to 120 vans arriving on site on a Friday night and all wanting to charge. A lot of the sites are not in places where this level of power is available.
I think we are starting to see a slow down on the EV push. Manufacturers are starting to make a stand, they can't keep producing things that don't sell.
I think the Caravan industry is no different to the rest of the leisure Industry, retail motor industry or indeed everyday commodities such as food shopping. Obviously Covid has had a major impact on the supply of new Van's, Cars etc and the shortage of labour and raw materials but greed plays a big part of this! Somebody somewhere sees the problem as a way of making a quick buck by hiking up prices particularly in the used markets and as long as the public is willing to pay those inflated prices they will sell. When the public says we've had enough of this and we're not willing to pay these prices anymore the prices will drop back down again. The marketplace runs on what it thinks they can get away with charging to us the public. Take your weekly shop, I go into Sainsburys weekly and have noticed since Covid that some prices have escalated by 100% on a lot of items I buy. Has inflation really increased in that time by 100%? No it hasn't. In a nutshell, those retailers/manufacturers in any of the markets that start to go out of business rightly deserve to, they only have themselves to blame. Have you seen the cost of B&Bs lately? Pre Covid I was paying around £40 per night for a single room in a bog standard B&B, now these same people are asking for a £100 plus, pure greed!🤔☹️
Everything has to come back to a normal, it's now finding the normal, some things are still not going to move much, a lot has happened in the last few years, just minimum wage on its own has increased by nearly 35% since 2020. So costs can only come down so far.
Caravan prices are dropping all over Europe. The demand is no longer there. Prices will continue to fall as there will be a glut of second hand private sales in the years ahead. Also family caravan holidays are no longer affordable.
Intersting Mark. I know some are going bust and I know of one big company who has had their credit lined revoked. That will hurt prices more as the administrators will sell off the vans to reclaim the debt. We are considering coming back in. Issue is people private still want same money. I am just going to offer bottom prices and see if anyone bites.
It's the same for everything. The secondhand trailer boat market has been dead for about 12 months now nothing really is selling. However bigger boats are selling fairly strongly. In my opinion its because of the interest rate rises. Generalising here but it makes the less well off poorer but the the more well off richer, hence the bottom end of the market is effected most.
He's walking mud into all the caravans, lol! But I agree that the sites are just asking too much per night, especially in the school holidays. £50 per night on some sites! Plus the summers seem to be getting wetter, so can be more of an endurance than enjoyment, especially when you've got kids and grandkids. In Devon, we had a stream flowing through our awning, we were making paper boats to float along and entertain the kids!
Do you think it's the running costs of the tow vehicle, if you have a large caravan you have a large vehicle. Buying a larger caravan increases your carbon footprint. We should be looking at alternatives.
Carbon footprint 😂😂🙄 Carbon dioxide is the 'Gas of life' every single tree, plant and blade of grass on earth depends on it. If we produce more CO2 then it's offset by faster plant and tree growth. Please try thinking for yourself rather than believing everything you watch on the BBC 🙄👍
Do you think the price drop could be as people purchase smaller cars, I myself have gone from a skoda Octavia diesel to a fiat 500 electric. Also notice my neighbours cars have got smaller over last few years, with them going from Mondeo size cars to smaller Peugeot and Corsa sized cars, also got a neighbour that have completely given up driving as money has gotten tighter. Also have to think of the impact as governments push net zero and try to get people out of their cars and onto public transport, or at least that's the plan....
When a fully serviced pitch is £40- £50 per night and you can get a hotel or b&b for £70 per night why the heck would anyone want to drag a big aluminium box at 60mph using a third more fuel versus 70mph solo, it makes no sense. I’m an ex caravan owner. As for the motor home market🤦🏻
i had noticed a few dealers acting as a broker for private sales rather than them buying the caravan and then selling it, is the price drop the reason Mark? I suppose it prevents the dealer having to buy a caravan and having to sell it at a loss
The overseas travel industry getting back on its feet means that people are choosing overseas travel rather than buying a caravan. Also the overseas market for caravans to countries like New Zealand has been affected by the rising costs of shipping due to the unrest in the Red sea, container costs have risen significantly.
The dealers have been manipulating prices by overcharging and taking advantage of customers. However, now they claim that these dealerships are on the verge of bankruptcy. How is that possible? What happened to all the extra money they were making without offering any discounts? Whenever you asked them about it, they simply laughed at you. It's quite astonishing to see that even after reducing prices on the caravans, they are still significantly overpriced by thousands of pounds compared to their original value. Additionally, I would like to mention that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, so they can no longer use it as an excuse. Prices have dropped significantly, but dealers will struggle to sell their inventory unless they drastically reduce prices, which seems to be a challenging task for them.
I sold a caravan before covid for about £2k. During Covid the same year and model was going for £5k (yeah, gutted) Prices are now getting back to normal. It didn’t need 10 minutes of waffle to explain that.
I’m no expert but could it be that prices are dropping to more realistic prices because they were overpriced in the first place ?
totally agree, dealers making hay while the sun shone

This is true 👍
It seemed that new vans shot up in price after covid , more than was proportionate to the manufacturers costs.
A good example is Adria , we ordered a new altea start of 2021, 18 months later the price was over £8000 more. The van we brought would have been out of our price range if we hadn’t ordered it when we did. Obviously a £8000 increase is far more than adrias manufacture and transport costs increase .
You've got an Internet browser go see how much raw materials spiked during and after covid. Trading economics website is a good start.

All good points, but everything went crazy in price.

It across all caravan industries caravan site fees up a lot, tow cars gone up stupid prices if you can get one electric car are useless for towing I am on my last year warranty for my elddis which has put me off buying another one so I am running it down till scrap same as my mondeo estate nowv14 years old only 88thousand miles tha will last me another 10years I been caravaning since 1974
Thanks David 👍
You don't really go anywhere with that caravan and Mondeo.
Campsite costs.
Fuel costs.
Clogged up Roads.
Poor Road surfaces.
High interest rates.
Much cheaper to stay in Hotel or B and B.
Try booking in with kids and a dog and need entertainment. Hotels and B+B are boring.
@@MegaFred8888air BnB is definitely not boring, as somebody with a wife, a child and dog I can say we've had great times on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Thanks 👍
There's a glut of secondhand caravans too. Our local dealer wouldn't even look at ours last Autumn.
Regarding caravan site prices, similar thing happened 30 odd years ago when the sites became greedy, It was far cheaper for a family to holiday abroad to the "del sols" than camp for a fortnight in the uk.
10% drop in value for a caravan that's a year older. Doesn't sound like a crash to me.
Well said! 👍
Not sure about the accent bit 😂😂😂😂
Yes spot on 👍
Hi Mark, I love your channel, have you done a review of fitting or adding Wi-Fi to the caravan
Not yet! 👍 Will see what we can do.
People have figured out that anything made since 2019 is a shitbox.
No More towing tests, it changed a couple of years ago so anyone can now tow. 👍
Caravans are dropping in price because the site prices are too high. You can go abroad now for the price of 2 weeks caravaning.
Been well overpriced for 3 years now. Everyone is going abroad now after COVID. Motorhome are the same. Values have dropped 25% over the last 2 years. Cost of fuel is also an issue.
People bought them during the past 3 years with the scare situation limiting travel and now don't want them!!!
Caravans are a luxury item, people generally are struggling to live, plus it is getting harder to find a place to stay.
We have been members of Caravan and Motorhome club for 48 years, site prices now far too expensive. Families being priced out .
Yes everything has to settle as some point. 👍
Prices dropping, I wish. The 2024 Basecamp 2 is now 25k. Before the pandemic they were about 17k & that was the plus spec. Less is more I think 🤨
Im a caravan/motorhome valeter in Devon and ive been valeting alot of caravans for customers to sell. Main reason i am seeing is the families just havent got the spare cash for an expensive luxury. The people who have the cash like the retirement age group seem to be riding it out.
We saw a drop in families buying last year, but a positive start so far and more interest from families.

It sounds like it's a similar story around the globe. 👍
Because after covid they went super greedy
Now things have calmed down
Buyers are thinking nope
The dealer I bought mine off back in November . Told me he is selling more to full time van lifers than lesiure users. And it has been a bit of a life saver for him. I suppose the economic & high rent climate gives some a boost.
I always wondered why the U.K made caravans are not so popular in Australia
The "bad to shocking" roads here would just Kill them too quickly (due the materials and designs used) as even the locally made dual axle Caravans can get badly damaged when the wet weather destroys the B roads.
Could it be the vans are 12 months older
Bought a second hand caravan last week and got it very cheap from a private seller , it will be alot cheaper for me and the family to go away in than paying the price of hotels throughout Ireland
What did you buy and how much please?

@@darrenbull345654
It was a caravan the dealer bought from us for 8k & sold for £13500.
Not a bad profit for them.
Greedy dealers deserve to go bust
Am sure their staff would agree
Isn't a 2k drop in a year on a 20k caravan mostly down to depreciation?
The Nec in October maybe a great place to get a deal on one. Not many 24s available but dealers will be keen to sell the 2025s. 👍
They are nicely laid out, but where is the fridge, washing machines, wifi with big screen.
My last quote for a pitch C&CC Scarborough 7nights £133, Flower of May Filey 7night £199, Large caravan sites robbing people who are stuggeling to pay their heating bills and now cannot afford a holiday.
What do you think is a fair price ?
How much for a new caravan single axel ? And do you know the cost to ship to America 🇺🇸 ?
I'm not sure but seems like there is a demand from comments 👍
Could you remind us
- what the prices are compared to 2019?
- compared to 2014?
How does the five years 2019-2024 compare to 2014-2019 ?
2019 new £25k, used price now £20k
2014 new £18k used price now £13k
But since then we saw a big increase in inflation and new prices. So I would say we are back on track with prices to a sensible level.
We have been hit with the drop we bought a brand new caravan in July last year now the 2024 is up for sale for £3k less than what we paid. gutting really, but it is what it is.
You made the best decision for you at the time. You also had a year of holidays and memories. £3k is what one summer holiday abroad?
It's difficult when the prices have taken a quick drop, but it will now level out. But you have hopefully had holidays already, if you look at going away for 1 week, you won't get much change from £3k and only have a few pics and memories. You can have as many holidays as you want, when you want.
But you did have the use of it for last year's beautiful summer weather. Oh no, wait...
Its all relative the fact that matters is unless your a new buyer is what it costs to change that is the measure.
Try buying a static. You’ll need to be seated when the greedy site owners offer you what you bought it for. You’ll be lucky to get blow on a rag mans trumpet for it. The depreciation is phenomenal.🤨😤💰💰💰
They are just gangsters.
As the younger generations who cant tow much on an ordinary licence cant afford to even consider a caravan. This is killing the demand.
@@PKSiAMiAM you are allowed to tow a caravan upto 3500kg, even if you passed your test after 1997. You now have B+E entitlement even if passed after 1997.

It was around £1000-£1500 pre covid.

Good videos, Mark.
Thanks 👍
Towing of caravans by EVs are to be included in new legislation due to the combined weight of EVs and caravan which would prohibit larger heavier caravans been towed, apart from the obvious poor range and charging infrastructure, the net zero dream strikes another own goal in Great Britain's leisure industry.
I am not sure the EV will still be a thing of the future.
Well the difference is that, he's talking about the European Market and not other places like the U.S. and other places. But, those things aren't cheap either, it's good that the prices do drop.
Thanks for your comments, we are in UK so only based on our market, but does look and sound similar in other countries 🤷
Could the high caravan sites charges hike have a impact on weither people are buying caravans.
EVS are selling soon be here the government always wins as you know if you pay taxes 😂
Campsites are getting greedy , minimum facilities and overcrowding.
£50-60 a night airbnb smokes this
Is it because of electric cars will have trouble towing them they will have to charge them up more often
Fuel Prices is a major factor !!!
Times are over for ripping people off we’ve all had enough bring your prices down or go bust
Caravan prices are dropping all over Europe. The demand is no longer there.
Prices will continue to fall as there will be a glut of second hand private sales in the years ahead.
Also family caravan holidays are no longer affordable.
Try campsite prices in the uk.
The more over priced vans on the market, the less get sold. At some point they have to realise the prices have dropped.
Prices of used caravans in Northern Ireland still going through the roof, almost double from last year.
Your caravans are so much nicer looking than our RVs in the US. 😔
I think we need to come to the US and take a proper look 🧐
@@thecaravanplace well yes! Of course. In the US, that could qualify as a business expense/ tax deduction 😉😁

More complicated to travel to EU countries, upcoming visa requirements , longer queues at Dover and shorter stays.
Dam in 4 years am planning to buy a retro caravan
You should see the price of caravans and vehicles here in Australia 😢
Motorhomes next. Vw prices dropping now
The dealers have been manipulating prices by overcharging and taking advantage of customers.
Thanks Adam, I normally get told to be not so quick 🤷
