Good install video. What I would have liked to have seen: - Better close up pictures of alignment with bed corners, sides, hatch seals, and front bulkhead (front bulkhead pic was visually confusing, maybe if from different angles or moving). - Torque settings on bolts. - How squished should seals look. - Is there a tailgate seal that needs to be installed or adjusted. - Operation. i.e. Safety catch in front. - General suggestion about attaching accessories. - Accessories available. - Quick differences between SE and HD and their installation differences. - Assist shock sizes to adjust for accessory weights. The construction and installation seems first rate, cleverly simple, and well thought out ..... except the locking rods. Adjustment of these rods to make the gasket fit tighter or looser should be A LOT easier with just a turn of a bolt one way or another to adjust tightness. Would rather see latches on all four corners so I could get a better seal by pushing down on one corner at a time.
Nice video. My only criticism is that at 6:09 you showed the alignment of the seal along the bulkhead and it looked fine to me. You made an adjustment and didn't show what it should actually look like so I have no idea what it should look like.
Nice detailed video. Best view of installing the C clamps on the center piece that I have seen. I think others have mentioned that it would have been nice to see more detail on the alignment especially the car area where the weather stripping was installed along with the back corners near the tailgate. Pretty much settled on this cover for my 22 Tundra because of the accessories, ease of installation and removal. Just need some warmer weather in Connecticut for the install.
What I don’t get is if your friend is putting pressure on top while you calibrate the lock, don’t you have to apply pressure to both sides every time you have to lock it again? What am I missing
Question. Is the weather stripping being laid without tugging on the seal? Or is it laid in without any stretching? I'm assuming it's the latter, but the video made me think he was pulling on the weather seal.
@@Realtruck I'm concerned about weather stripping sealing on my cab side of truck bed as they put the Rhino/Line-X covering on that area as well? I'm not sure if I could remove the Rhino/Line-X covering?
This should be the 'official' install video of the manufacturer. It's got all the little details you need to make the install a success - thanks!
Best installation video of this product on UA-cam as of June 2023 well done very detailed

Also going for it man did you get it how was it!
I like how when hand tightening, your fingers make the same sound as a rachet. Very helpful video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
should of have shown how it operates when all done
@4:09 are you actually securing that to a plastic LED light? that doesnt seem secure
I thought so the first time I watched it. But I replayed that sequence and he slips the clamp beside the LED light.
Why yall don't sell these covers from diamondback??
Do you have instructions on putting new seals in place?

Yes, should have given a full functionality session including rain resistance. Incomplete, but otherwise a nice presentation.
What’s the total weight of the cover?
80lb

Wish they made something that worked with an existing tool box
Hey there! You can find all the covers that support toolboxes here, realtruck.com/c/exterior-accessories/tonneau-covers/tool-box/. Hope that helps! 😁
Great video. Thanks.
