People don’t realize the Beegees were not a “disco band”. They were established musicians long before the late 70’s when Saturday Night Fever catapulted them to fame .
The Bee Gees themselves never thought of it a disco phase, more of an R&B phase. The word "disco" rose because these R&B songs were incidentally well suited for nightclubs in 1970s
I was listening to them singing Massachusetts and words long before disco, but if someone says disco they were that too. They were a terrible group no matter what anyone says.
It's the media, so I doubt "that's it". They were probably trying to disorient the public on the beatles sound, so people wouldn't notice as easily when they replace a beatle here or there.

"You won't see me" is excellent. Their Beatles medley on The Midnight Special was amazing, especially "This Boy" with that vibrato, something The Beatles (actually most singers lacked). I love this performance of "Hey Jude" and I agree that it would have been nice to hear Maurice and Robin sing a part, but they were having a great time anyway! 😁

Good observation! The way the Sgt. Pepper soundtrack came about was the Bee Gees' manager, Robert Stigwood, had purchased the rights to use 29 Beatles songs in a Broadway show. Along with some more famous tracks, Stigwood had bought the rights to some lesser-known songs. He was determined to get his money's worth, so he hired a writer and turned it into a movie. I was never a fan of the Bee Gees... not at all. Absolutely not. Zero. But it seems to me extremely generous, honest, healthy, and positive to recognize what you like and admire. Even more so to pay tribute to it. That should be the spirit, that's the attitude. As you mentioned in the video, many people might have gotten to know the Beatles through them. In the case of the Beatles, one might think of Electric Light Orchestra, Oasis, L. Cravitz... in the case of the Bee Gees, I knew of them, but I had no idea they were so massive. In any case, it's about getting inspired, sharing, modifying, combining... influencing, spreading. That's the idea. Also playing together... and as the great Chick Corea (another totally different style) said in his posthumous letter: never forget to have fun making music. Without loving their music, they have earned my appreciation and valuation. Greetings and many thanks to the Bee Gees. And to this channel for letting me know about this!

So I think they try to associate Andy with Bee Gees, when they were actually two separate acts. I think the family had more money when raising Andy,.so his life experience was more spoiled than Barry, Maurice and Robinz who were working since they were children
Clicked the video expecting an AI version but was pleasantly surprised to see it’s actually a selection of covers
One more evidence on how great composers were The Beatles!
And the bee gees were even better
good work put into this
I bought the BEE GEES Sgt Pepper album when I was 8 years old and thought it was their music for years. Until high school.
I did the same thing with "The Everly Brothers Sing Country Hits". lol What did I know? I grew up singing along with that album and they did such an excellent job at it that looking back I'm not surprised that I thought that they were their hits.
"ill be back" is my favorite of John's Beatle songs. I THINK , ANYWAY.!!!!!
Good Morning, Good Morning is great! Such energy!
Beautiful!
I love it!
I love Barry teeth hahaha
Bee Gees are the greatest.
Eine der größten Gruppen überhaupt.
Trop mignons les jumeaux
Un trio d'exception
Toujours au top ❤
Many people don't know that the Bee Gees are English. They spent much of their teenage years in Australia before returning to England during the British Invasion.
