You missed Keely being based on Keeley Hazel, who appears herself as Bex. Also Cerithium Oil are an incredibly thinly veiled expy of Shell Oil, right down to Cerithium being a type of snail.
As someone from Kansas City, I love that t-shirt that 99% of watchers won't understand without having it explained. It's also a good way of showing Ted's homesickness.
I believe that the wonderful challenge to Rupert by Ted to a high stakes game of darts also includes a "Princess Bride" reference. Ted "remembers" that he's not right handed and then proceeds to win... while misquoting Whitman "be curious, not judgmental." In the great "Princess Bride" sword scene, both Inigo and Westley begin by fighting with their non-dominant hand.
One more thing……when Coach Beard is leaving for his night on the town, Ted tells him “ Bird by Bird, Coach, Bird by Bird.” It is a reference to the book Bird by Bird, written by Anne Lamont. When she and her brother were kids, her brother has a school assignment to write a paper on different kinds of birds. Having waited until the last minute to do his assignment, he was sitting at the kitchen table with books about different kinds of birds and was very anxious. Their father walked by the table and said, “Bird by Bird, son, Bird by Bird.”
Thanks for your endless love and support. I can't get enough of the love you've been showing me which has been an inspiration to my career. I'm grateful. Where are you watching from?
When Roy Kent sticks his head up out of the ice water, that's because Bret Goldstein is a Muppets fan, and even did a standup show where he portrays the Muppets. Later he got to appear on Sesame Street rising out of a trash can next to Oscar the Grouch mirroring his action.
Best part of watching this … learning that the dance Ted did was the same as the one he did on What’s Up With That on SNL. One of my favorite sketches.
Ah I forgot one thing: Antony Head’s character is called Rupert, which is maybe a reference to the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in which Head played the role of Buffy’s mentor, Rupert Giles.
I am not sure it's an easter egg, but with all the others in the show, I would find it surprising this tid-bit was just coincidence. It's in the "Goodbye Earl" episodes post game press conference. Ted tells the story of him taking care and adopting the dog that bit him as a kid, sadly only to have him put down a year later. The dog he adopted was named Hank, short for Henry, Ted's boy's name.
There is also a Caddyshack scene - while Ted is walking with Rojas for a practice corner kick Ted is mimicking Ty Webb talking to Danny Noonan. When Rojas is lining up for the kick Ted says to him: be the ball, Dani. Dani then kicked the ball right into the metaphorical lumbar yard - Teds backside.
I always thought Richmond was more aligned with Queens Park Rangers, eg QPR's clashes with Man City for relegation, Harry Redknapp, a genuine West London side, needing Crystal Palace to lose or win by 6 goals which happened in one of QPR's seasons, the constant battles with Brentford etc etc
I came looking for an easter egg you didn't mention. On the Apple TV website, while on the "Play episode" screen, sometimes Ted will appear to be walking past, see YOU and come close and adjust his mustache and give you a little wink, then walk off. Was wondering if that's the only easter egg?
I’d like to mention that the toy bird that Lasso plays with in the doctor’s studio is the same as in the show Mad Men, in which it appears after one of the characters has to see a psychiatrist (moreover, in the épisode Lasso sits on the sofa and asks the doctor: “Who am I?”, to which he Adde “Donald Draper”, i.e. the name of the protagonist of Mad Men). I also have a question: is it possible that the name Jaimie Tartt is a reference to the characters of Game of Thrones Jaimie Lannister and Brianne of Tartt, who have a romantic relationship during the show?
Heres a funny thing. During an English test I had, Jamie Tart was directly referenced. There was a character named James Tart who was described as a arrogant and prideful soccer player. Hmmmmmmmm
I hope that you didn't mention the episode "Beard After Hours" is a big reference to Scorsese's "After Hours", because you assumed everybody got that. Great filler episode btw

I loved the episode where Sam had to quit being the face of a shady company spilling oil in Nigeria. As a Nigerian, I loved that the show openly accused the Nigerian government of being corrupt which is entirely true irl
My favourite part of that little subplot is that Cerithium (like the name of the fictional oil company) is a kind of shell - like Shell, the oil company that is ACTUALLY responsible for environmental destruction in Nigeria. They got about as close as Apple would let them to just naming names on the show, and I kinda respect that
I loved the episode (series 2 finale) when Sam saw some kids playing in Richmond shirts with his name on the back and the sponsor name with black tape over it.
