I researched about how to get rid of my old acne scars and discovered platelet rich plasma therapy / platelet rich fibrin therapy. You guys might remember Kim Kardashian's famous vampire facial photo this is the older version of prp microneedling. PRF microneedling for acne scars is the updated more improved version of PRP therapy due to the unique components of PRF . There are SO many doctors & nurses that perform this acne removal treatment, but I wanted someone with a lot of experience & I found Dr. Kian Karimi. PRF microneedling has a lot of skin benefits other than acne scar removal. Make sure you check out my before & after photos in the video because the results speak for themselves. I’m very happy that I went through with this treatment. I have to be honest, the first week after the initial PRF treatment I was freaking out a little bit because of how red my skin was, but Ian the patient coordinator really talked me through it and the Alastin products really helped as well!

Use a gentle cleanser like Cerave and daily hydrating boost after until your skin barrier is healthier so maybe 2 weeks then start using an actual face wash and toner plus do peeling face mask or so for 2-3 months and it’ll get way better.

Try Cicatricure or other generic scar cream store brands available at both Walgreens and CVS. I have used them both and happy with the results. Cicatricure is pricier because it contains a few more bonus ingredients but I've looked into them and the active ingredient doing the work is onion and the store brand works just as well. If money is tight perhaps even rubbing actual onion may be beneficial. I've put onion juice in my hair because it's also excellent for hair growth and strengthening of the hair follicles, so this natural approach definitely works, it's just messier and well, obviously the smell of onion can be unpleasant but if you can spend some time at home to do this, see it as an "at home spa treatment". Dilute cypress essential oil with lotion or aloe Vera gel (1 drop per 5ml)
Apply it once per 2 days, or make a spray with which you can apply daily
1 part of alcohol to 4 parts of filtered water (1drop per 5ml)

your skin looks good even before the treatment, as for the claim that your skin looks better even one-day after; that's due the swelling after the procedure, that will go down after a few days/weeks. Final results take weeks to months. And you would need more than one treatment, depending on how the scaring is. The more treatments, the better the results. After you have achieved the results you want, you would still need to do what they call Maintenance treatments once a year or every two years. PRF is a new term i have not heard of before.

his scars is honestly not as bad as mine, i do my own DIY Dermapen treatment and honestly after doing it for 6 session spaced by 3 weeks aaprt, i can already see major improvements. It will take more time to soften the scars but honestly im quite positive about it
