An important point you mentioned at the end. Naturals who attempt to go sub 10% need to realize they will lose substantial muscle. Naturals are skinny looking in clothes at a real 8%.

No, I don't remember the lower end either but he set the upper limit at 15%-16%, at least in the video I watched. It might've been something like 12%-16%. It has influenced how people see BF and LBM is more important to the visual than simply the fat. Looking at forums where people guess BF (just for kicks), I see a lot of underestimating (classically the case) but almost as much overestimating - this is probably because people heard underestimating is common and over correct in their head (also with the influence of LBM). Bro i mildly disagree on this one... the things on the video are true but no way you are 18%, even with muscles... in my opinion you could be close to 14%, like 15 or 16, dunno about legs fat distribution. it makes me puke when I hear people direct to a body fat percentage image chart to assess body composition for numerous reasons. 1 - lean mass distorts the perception as visible abs (which are acquired through training, NOT diet) will often (wrongfully) serve as a key indicator of leanness 2 - too many subjective factors such as angles and lighting 3 - bodybuilding is all about proportions regardless 4 - too complicated for an inaccurate result as opposed to simply measuring waistline (which should be a set proportion to height. 43% ~ 8% bf, 45% ~ 10% bf, 47% ~ 12% bf, 48% ~ 15% bf, 49% ~ 18% bf, 50% ~ 20% bf

I'm not asking for an accurate method because there is not an accurate way to measure your body fat percentage unless we open you up and take all the fats and put it on a scale , I'm asking for a reliable method to assess your body fat percentage that will be consistent and reproducible. Bodybuilding judging is subjective, not objective. 2 people can get their BF% results to be identical, but, look completely different in the eye of the beholder. Go by the mirror, not the caliper, or the Dexa, etc.....
Well distribution does play a big role. My first impression would be that you carry a good amount of body fat in your back, legs and hip area. Your front torso and arms are very lean. Someone who's torso looks exactly as lean as yours could be now accused now of Having 15 + percent bodyfat while hes at 12. you can't always assume that most people are fatter, because someone who is looking softer than you around the arms and abs would have to be like 25 percent body fat then, which would be basically straight up fat.
My distribution of fat is like my tits are fat but they have some muscle mass and I have love handles but my arms are skinny and my back and traps don’t seem to puffy in terms of fat and are sorta jacked and my legs are jacked as shit but my glutes are in the middle ground of not that thick but not anorexic either basically a tight little ass essentially and I don’t really have a power belly and I can see the upper portion of my abs
