Also very untrue. There are RTR cars out there that will do 100 MPH on stock Traxxas lipos out the box. God, Even my XMAXX is pushing 100MPH already XD

just wanted to correct a small detail. the likelihood of success you have described is the one used for random coin toss which is not the case in a race, let alone, in a skill based race.
actually, the odds are supposed to be higher then described.
in any case, i love the content you upload! good job!
the odds are almost impossible to calculate as each person that enters changes the odds as if its a bad racer then odds went up if your good of course but if its a really good one and your at the bottom of the tier of racers then your odds went WAYYYYYYYYYYYY down. something like this cannot be looked at as chance to win as you could never truly know, its not really as simple as a roll of the dice or a coin toss where mathematics alone can bring you close enough if not dead on to the odds

This is so sweet. Any form of rc is good to see spreading, I’d somehow like to put on an event like this one day to promote the hobby I enjoy and maybe get some new people into it. A bashing exhibition would be sweet. The person with the cleanest landings, most tricks, and the least turnovers wins? I’d like to see it
I'd like to see that too and that type of event is pretty rare. There are a lot of bashers out there, and having some sort of Olympics with various challenges and tricks would be really cool.

Looking at the speed pass chart, the Losi 22s noprep RTR can easily hit those speeds out of the box!
But there are rules
More to it than that Ian. Traction is the biggest factor in this racing series.
Top speed doesn't necessarily mean you have a fast 132ft time, chasing top end cab make you slower 👍

Our local group Upstate No Prep Rc drag racing regularly has large payouts and we race two weekends a month and are still growing quickly!!!

I doubt there will be a race class for the DJI fpv drone. Its not durable at all and too price. Plus racing isnt what it was build for. Its a cinematography tool just like the rest of DJI's products.

Nitro drag racers use tire expansion as a second gear. Surprised rc drag racers aren't taking advantage of this phenomenon
Maybe it's due to a much shorter chassis. I'd assume it's a handful as is, so adding an element of surprise in the form of tire expansion wouldn't be good.

As an actual drag racer here also, it's all about knowing how to stage as well,but I agree if you wait til it's green you might as well drop the ramps and load her up. As for the tree, it all comes back to staging, keeping the same routine,knowing your car, and knowing the tree. soon as I feel my car squat,I'm already gone before I even realize I'm gone..

Lookin like the rc rtr masses are going to blow up on this one, massive amounts of money to be made here. I can remember back in 1990 running an 8 cell drag car, with a 9 turn nuclear assault motor. Can't for the life of me remember the name of the car. It was a graphite chassis car.
hi, frank what model of brass rear hubs are you using in that chassis since I have the same one and there are some of models and I don't know which one you are using in your fivesevendesing arrow (brass rear hubs) (brass GF5 rear hubs) or (brass rear hubs GFRP) can u help me with that or someone who knows could help me thank you very much.
We are all still kids at heart. We also learned its better to spend few thousand dollars on a R/C car than over a $100K supping up a real car. Racing made affordable lol.

Yeah it is. It's based on the RC4WD TF2 Chassis and everything else is custom with many 3D printed parts. We have more footage of the truck but it didn't make the cut.

Couple questions, What is the drivetrain restriction can it be AWD or RWD only and which is prefered? Is there a second and third place prize? That would be a good thing if you ask me!
No AWD, vehicles must be rear wheel drive only; if the sport keeps growing maybe there will be an AWD class in the future? For the prize money, the entire cash pot goes to the winner. 2nd and 3rd place get the same thing as everyone else.
