The issue with that is that you're considered to be operating a vehicle as long as you're in the driver's seat with the keys on the person or in the vehicle. This means that, If pulled over, he drank a bottle of whiskey, he would have LITERALLY drank and drove right in front of the cop.
It wouldn't obscure the test, it would negate the ENTIRE need to do one. Blood tests are for evidence... you don't need that evidence if he chugged a bottle of whiskey while siting in the driver's seat in front of body cam.

Someone who justifies the behavior of criminals because they hate cops.
An example would be someone trying to justify someone killing a child because "nooo the officer was just aggravating him he didn't mean to do it the cop was abusing him" while completely ignoring what the suspect actually did. So, basically putting the blame on the officer instead of the person who committed the crime.

Blood alcohol only goes down .015 per hour. And the hospital tests for metabolites not alcohol. So if you been drinking up to 80hrs prior to the test you will fail. I know this because I got a duii and had to go thru classes last year. Yay

Cops cover up for each other every day i doubt this officer was actually in fear of losing his job. Also, there's something called "officer disgression" where they can actually turn the other cheek and be like i'll give you a warning. I've seen some where a guy is caught driving without a license (on audit the audit channel) and the cop lets him drive home with no ticket. And audit the audit narrator was like good job on this cop for keeping good relations with the community (??) . I've seen one where a police chief is laying on the ground middle of the road with his car in the middle of the road. He pissed his pants and he's passed out drunk. The cops approach then turn off their body cams and take care of the chief with no charges.

@@clamjuice I mean, I've seen people operating multiple times over OUR legal limits, and NONE of them could drive a car more than a mile before crashing it.
Remember BAC 1 means your blood is 100% alcohol, so BAC 0.5 means half of your blood has now been turned into alcohol, and the likelyhood youd even make it out of the alcohol induced coma you got yourself in are slim to none.... at 0.5, youre likely to die. I also double checked and it's actually 0.05 in Germany, not 0.5. 5% BAL vs 50% seems a lot more reasonable.
If you want, check out some stories of college fraternity hazing resulting in death. Many of them died after going over 0.5 BAL

Then yeah, it would take too long to stall, but if you are just slightly buzzed, stalling could work.
