As a certified peer attorney when I was under 18 years old. I had cases where a school would disregard policy to get the kids in trouble with the law. So the school didn't have to deal with it. You'd be surprised as to how often I heard about them getting interrogated by the police officer on the site for hours before even contacting parents. For simple petty crimes. I wish I could disclose more details about some cases but im under law not allowed to disclose certain stuff and its been so long I'd rather not risk it. Confidentiality and whatnot.
This wasn’t a simple crime. This was a cover up to hide a murder suspect
@@XrpAndy fair. But I was talking in general ya know? Faculty tends to pick and choose who's in trouble. Teachers calling cops and filing a report against a 13 to 16 year Olds. For petty stuff. It happens a lot. I'm not defending the murderer suspect. I'm just pointing out schools do things how they want.
I guess what I'm Ultimately saying is. Murderer or not. The school is not your lawyer team. They do not represent you. They represent the school. And if a school faculty member just hands over a child without contacting the parents immediately to the cops. Then it can come back and bite them in the ass.
Innocent until proven guilty. That's the law. The guy handled it well. If he was a serious serious suspect. Then they legit would have just grabbed him. Looked like he was just going to be questioned.

Did you not even watch the video? The kid was involved in a fucking shooting and was suspected of being in the school. Imagine you, being the principal, refusing to let cops into a school to find a potential fucking mass shooter. That is literally how mass shootings happen. Fuck you. You would be the exact type of person to cause a school shooting and then beg for the cops to come when you denied them earlier to avoid the entire thing from happening.

Why are people ignoring the fact that the cops lied? They claimed that the first teacher they spoke with said the suspect WAS there. But on tape the teacher said he BELIVED/ THOUGHT the suspect was there. Every single person after that said the suspect was NOT there. The pigs then continued to stretch a lie in order to search every nook and cranny of the school, to (what looked like) be spiteful of the principle who knew the rights of his students.
Simple, it's because they're white male officers.

This is a small community school(I attended this one in the vod). We don’t have that principal anymore but this was a unique situation because of the fact that it’s an accelerated credit school in a bad area. The campus we’re on(the one in the vid is actually a old fire department) the there kids aren’t the best but they sure aren’t criminals. All the students there just want to do better for themselves for the hands they were dealt.

No they don't need proof, they need reasonable suspicion, but which can't be sustained on just a 911 call, they also need to observe the facts the caller has mentioned to create reasonable suspicion, read case law, it's worrying that you would just leave all the power to be vested in an anonymous caller, with that logic, anyone could falsely report crime and police should blindly follow them.
