the 2 "found footage" recordings were genuinely scary, you cold hear what i am assuming was rushing water, accompanied by sirens and occasion glass breaking. that genuinely instilled a little fear into for a sec lol
What's interesting is that they are made from about 15 different layers of sound effects. If you listen to each sound alone, there is nothing scary but when you combine them all together it's a total different story.
For those who don't know, Kurzgesagt has made a video about this and in conclusion, they expect that the Moon wouldn't actually crash into us, but would break up before it would hit Earth and it would turn into a ring, kinda like Saturn. However, Earth would almost be completely sunk by the end of it. Even so, the Moon is actually very slowly moving away and is very stable. One of the best EAS from this channel. Good job Alert World.

The Ace Combat franchise has something similar to this, an asteroid is detected 4 years before it hits. All the countries have four years to build a defense. One continent builds an anti-air railguns, one of which goes offline during the event and allows a fragment to hit the biggest city in the continent, Farbanti, flooding its municipal district. The other affected continent gets all civilians into bunkers, but one builds a railgun called Chandelier, but can't complete it in time. 500,000 lives were lost.
The continent of Usea built Stonehenge, while both Emmeria and Nordennavic built bunkers and Estovakia built Chandelier. Later, during the First Continental War, Erusea took control of Stonehenge and used it against ISAF, only for all seven active railguns to be destroyed by Mobius One. During the Emmerian-Estovakian War, Estovakia finished and attempted to use Chandelier to terrorize the Emmerian military into surrendering, only for it to be destroyed. Finally, in the Lighthouse War, Osea used the deactivated Stonehenge railgun to destroy Arsenal Bird Liberty.
This is a episode ive been waiting for! One thing about the Moon hitting the Earth is that it literally couldn’t. Let me explain: The Moon could end up being on a course to crash into Earth, but something like Majora’s Mask’s game over where the moon thing hits the Earth and everything dies from a shockwave couldn’t happen. The Moon is moving too slowly to break into the atmosphere properly like an asteroid, which would mean that, since the Moon has less mass than the Earth, it would likely split in half before it hits the Earth. But it doesn’t mean that nothing bad would happen.

I like how the video goes over the risks other than the actual impact of the moon, such as flooding. It adds more of a sense of realism to the whole ordeal.
I love how even in the future, microphones still sound like recordings from the 1990s.
Just like security cameras
Bandwidth saving
Zelda fans watching this rn: *the dawn of the first day, 72 hours remain*
The audio recording in Japan made me so scared…
The background sounds actually make it feel like the moon is falling as the EAS goes on. Nice.
Hey man- what software do you use to make these videos? You inspire me greatly and i'd like to make some inspired off of a small story that i've been making for quite a while now- thanks :)
hi alert world i would like to say that this is a very nice detailed EAS video and keep up the good work ;)
Majora's mask fans: I've been waiting for this my entire life
That was actually pretty cool. I’m not usually too in to this kind of video but it was very interesting to watch. It is also nice how it didn’t end with the death of humanity like most of these videos do.
Its a bird!
No! Its a plane!
Wait, HOLY SHI-
This EAS scenario making it right outta termina
I do not know why, but I wanted to cry during this whole thing. God.
that’s dread for ya
I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Nah bro just call Gru up and tell him to steal the moon
There's a movie about moon falling and it turns out the moon is fake
Another week of asking what’s going with the Lizard People Part 2? I’ve been waiting for it in countless weeks. Is it a 100K special?
Anyways, this is a good video
And also the Canadian ice age and vampire invasion
Working on it!
the "we will come back strong" was just so touching for some reason
Didn’t the impact that created the moon turn the Earth into a molten ball of slag for millions of years afterwards? The Meteor That wiped out the dinosaurs is like a little pebble compared to the *moon*
To be fair the impact that created the moon was made by a planet, at least I think that's the most prevalent theory
@@itzqwerty5576 yes and the moon is a similar size to the planet Mercury so…
Yeah this is a cool idea but like total fantasy in terms of anything surviving impact.
