One of my favourite things about this is that because the public doesn’t know about the SCP foundation, they don’t know about the SCP which means they don’t know what to do and have to use the knowledge they’re limited to.
and this is why i hate public event go wrong people dont know what to do and their limited knowledge will mostly doom other (spreading rumors, out right fake news, or even spark a mass panic)

I love this starts out as the entire police force thinking that these are humans dressed up in scary IKEA disguises, and it just really added to the feeling of dread, knowing that these officers have absolutely no idea what they’re getting into.
Moral Lesson: Never break in to any abandoned buildings or even not abandoned buildings cause who knows what waiting for you in there. Edit: (Not thanking for likes but something I observed) I observed how the SCP foundation never revealed anything about themselves and decided it to disguise the SCP IKEA employee (SCP 3008-2) as impaired people or just crazy drugged people and the store as just abandoned IKEA store. Or maybe this took place before the SCP Foundation to actually investigate this and became a SCP.

The one thing I find interesting about this one is that they are imploring the ikea employees to stop and are willing to act peacefully if they do the same. Most of these eas scenarios with scps involve the foundations mtf just going in and trying to neutralize the threat. Just food for thought.
Because it's a hostage situation likely. They must be delicately handled in order to ensure the well being of the hostages. Unfortunately, they don't know that the "workers" can't be reasoned with.
The most realistic part of this EAS is that the government tries to "negotiate" with these SCP staff, possibly in an effort to subdue such anomalies without common knowledge of what they actually are
