While the Allies don't negotiate with terrorists, I'm not so sure if I want to risk Tanya's life to save idiots. Also, I didn't bother to optimise this because I like how the run turned out :D

I couldn't finish this mission because the civs wouldn't go anywhere. I never thought of SHOOTING ONE OF THEM to get them moving. I am clearly not diabolical enough. Holy crap.
If you play using the normal route you don’t need to kill any civilians, they’ll follow you automatically

CvBrony you remind me of someone who had the same issue. The AI of the civilians is very random, in my experience they would follow you most of the time if you did things the normal way, but if you use this vid’s method sometimes they do sometimes they don’t. The key though is that at least one civilian should die.
@@CvBrony They don't follow you if the leading civilian who gets you there doesnt die. He has to kill himself, or they will not follow you - in that case you have to shoot one of them.

I re-played this mission countless times on PSX 22 years ago it was brutally hard, but eventually I completed it. Ironically I din't hate it, inspite of all my fails.

The explosion looked so awesome, too! It reminds me of the demo truck explosion in Red Alert: A Path Beyond.
Yeah one of the things I really like about Remastered is the nuke explosion
@@TheCNCChannel that's half well done, i remember if that was you or someone else mentioned, that in the original game and during a mission (not skirmish or multiplayer), when a nuke is detonated, the whole screen went white-out, flashed for some time and locked for some seconds, that person preferred the fx of that.
Boris Li that’s right. If they maintained the white-flash screen it would’ve been perfect. Still, the remastered explosion looks so beautiful lol

i actually did that in reverse, took out sams, helo's came in and took out the flame turret, found the guy, took the long way around....and got lost as i was trying to find said church.

IDK, it kind of looks like they are wearing stahlhelms to me. But yes they appear to be wearing trenchcoats. Maybe that is why they are so slow compared to other infantry.
That's probably a new design element they thought of for Remastered
@cyn_mis_niH @RC1985 got it, but i think for the flamethrowers and shock troopers they both need trench coats for protecting themselves
@@TheCNCChannel You know, I didn't think of that. I just thought they were going to do a graphical and audio upgrade. I never thought they would modify it.

Why wasn't there a base set up for you?
so you can "rescue" the hostages just fine without the informant...but you still need to trigger him in order to get actual units to take out tanks in order to actually complete the level. That's annoying

If you kill the Volkov-like dude before he can get to the beach to signal for reinforcements then there’ll be no base

Yes, I've done it. You have a mechanic so if you're careful with how you use tanks its doable.
dude i cant beat brothers in arms on hard. the spy isnt fast enough to make it past the barrels.. in remastered
That mission is broken, they need to fix it
