So many people are interested in lowering cholesterol and, unfortunately, so many of those people turn to medication. I’m here to tell you that you can lower your cholesterol naturally.
You can completely transform your cholesterol levels by eating a healthy diet. Cholesterol-lowering foods include all sorts of great-tasting fruits, vegetables, legumes, fish, lean meats and plenty of healthy sources of fat.
When it comes to lowering high cholesterol naturally, strictly avoiding all fats is not the answer. Even totally avoiding foods that contain cholesterol itself (like eggs or cheese) isn’t necessary. It’s all about moderation and balance.
In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, Jordan Rubin shares the top 12 cholesterol-lowering foods to support heart health.

I would love to hear your thoughts on food for medicine in regards to anixety and depression, please.
Rachel Tyler
Magnesium ( I take it something called natural calm that you can get in the Healthfood Store) that takes care of Anxiety. As far as depression take a shot (small medicine cup) of flax seed oil. Both of these work great.
Rachel Tyler research haritika that should help with the anxiety
you can also have your Thyroid4 check. That can also cause anxiety
Find out the cause of the anxiety ,like one lady said yes check your body THYROID, do you have fibroid ,do you sleep good at night time, how is your energy.go deeper.the anxiety is a result from something ,do have back issues.Your body is telling you something.I hope by now you find out.eishing you all the best.

Great video thanks for sharing !!!
I once went to get my cholesterol tested. I think I was supposed to fast but I decided for fun to go ahead and eat a high-fat breakfast. My triglycerides which tend to be only 35 went up to 50 as a result of this. I had a high HDL and a low LDL. He told me I was not at risk for heart disease.
Thanks for nice video by Dr.Josh Axe
This information is awesome and very useful. I shall conform myself to practice eating healthy.
My doctor said that my cholesterol is high and I need to be medicated it! I ll try this first and we ll see what happen. Thanks!
Thank you. I wish I would have found this before taking meds. I’ve been sad sense I started taking it. No one told me there was an alternative. The side effects of the meds is horrible! I’m only 40 and I feel 60. I’m going to try this! What about strawberries?
I just got meds to take, but I'm not going to take them. I'm going to soft dry fast and water fast and omad. But yes...strawberries are suppose to be great for cholesterol. Look at youtuber "A Healthy Alternative" here on UA-cam, his name is Chris James. Talks about fasting healing oir body. Look at his interview with, Justin, Steven, Jon, the fasting fat man. Etc.
Hey you are pretty young it’s not too late start using nuts and vegetables 👍🌹
Thank you so much for the information. I am trying to lower my ldl and up my hdl. I am currently taking 3 tablespoon of flaxseed and tumeric every day. I am also exercising 5 days a week, 3 miles a day or 30 minutes on the arc machine. Dont know yet if it is working.
Careful with chia, chia is a nightshade and some people can have severe intestinal issues with chia. Reference Dr Gundry 's book The Plant Paradox. I knew I was having issue with chia and couldn't understand why, until the plant paradox opened my eyes. Goji berries are also nightshade.
Edwin Larson what are some negative ramifications?
Edwin Larson chia can also be bad for people with diverticulitis, kinda like strawberry seeds.
thank you for your sharing !
Thank you for information 😊
Thanks I will do that
Always a great video. Just letting you know I can't take chia be or flaxseeds because both lower BP. It brings mine down to a dangerous low blood pressure.
Thanks! I will give this try.

You’re awesome J. Rubin!
In 1997 a Dr Simmons conducted a study using thousands of test subjects the topic “what actually causes heart attacks” is it high blood cholesterol? The study a diet too high in acidic foods and too low in alkaline foods cause inflammation which is the root cause of heart attacks, this information can be found in medical journals of that period and on the web
I owe you an apology, you forget to remind me to give you thumbs up and I do forget because I am so wrapped up in all the good info.
What oil do you recommend for cooking? Thank you, Jordan

Great video thank you🤗
Hi Jordan, when someone like your wife has hereditary cholesterol, what do you recommend? My friend who is 49 just had a major heart attack. He’s on Crestor. They just doubled his dose. What would you recommend?
I think that's what happened to me. My LDL is around 120, never below 100. My HDL around 45, never above 60. I have been not eating ALL cholesterol food about 3 months and the HDL & LDL level didn't change (the triglycerides and total cholesterol went down drastically though). I once tried eating meat, cow liver, seafood, eggs, etc for a month and the ldl/hdl level didn't change either (only triglycerides that fluctuate).
Thanks~🌟
If my doctor put me on atrovastatin, should I stop? I almost feel like I should stop taking it.
Intake it every other day.
you should..
Thank you so much for your video. Just last week I was told by my doctor I have high cholesterol 😫. I’m fit & exercise at least 5 times a week....I’m in disbelief & I am freaked out (my grandmother had high cholesterol). My question: using Matcha in my smoothies daily, would that count as drinking green tea?
I’m in the same boat, I’m terrified and frustrated because I work out and eat pretty healthy ☹️
Thank you very much great information 👍🌹

Great information. I love Jordan Rubin.
Thank you Jordan
Thank you.

My cholesterol is 5.8 and my doctor told me it was high but didn't really seem bothered about it.
Mine is 9.4 and I'm 27. She told me normal is about 5 so you're not too far out of range. I'm going on a strict 4 week diet to see how much I can lower it in a month.
@@youhustlinmeboy4989what menu r u following?
Are you bothered by it? It is time to educate ourselves about our health and take responsibility rather than just trust a cookie cutter, pill pusher doctor to do this for us. Now let's be clear, doctors do have their place but we have equal if not more responsibility as well.
As the True and loving word tells us. "My people die of lack of Knowledge". Sometimes it's what we dont know that affects us.
@@youhustlinmeboy4989 I wanted to ask how long should you stay on a strict diet if you have high cholesterol because I started and been feeling headaches.
Superrrr information. THANKS DOC
Very useful. i want to do this.
Can I take flaxseed oil
What about the fact that turmeric is not absorbed by the body as well as when you take it with black pepper? I add pepper anytime I'm using in food/drink.
Awesome thx man
Thank u ! This is great news!😄❤️😄
Thanks doctor
I was prescribed attorvastatin and it made my insomnia worse plus severe muscle and body pain, cramps, very low stamina. So stopped it after a month.
I went to another doctor and gave me pravastatin 40mg. I have no muscle pain or cramps but I still have very low stamina, depression, frequent trips to the toilet at night. After 3 months of taking my cholesterol went down from 270 to 230. Now in my 8 month on pravastatin i have decided to gradually stop it and go natural.
I cut my pill in half and Im feeling a lot better after 2 weeks and more stamina..
Check your cholesterol level every 2 months if you stop your medication.
Thanks
Wonderful advice.
Thanks so much for this info, what about for hypertension.thanks
