  • Let's walk through the grocery store and pick out some of the best foods to eat to lower your cholesterol and explain why. I also want to show you which foods raise cholesterol and how to avoid them. It's really important to know which low cholesterol foods are the most nutrient dense and non-inflammatory at the grocery store, and that's why I made this video. Mad love..Bobby, Dessi, Rose, and Art! XOXO

My doctor failed to tell me two years ago that my cholesterol was high. I have been telling him the hold time that i am not eating much and my belly keeps growing and i have told him i feel like i have toxins.. being a woman is tough because they see you getting closer to 50 and it all hormonal to them Even though the hormone levels are NORMAL actually better than normal.
I even have mild calcification in my aorta found out through a ctscan of the abdomen because i have unexplained bladder pain .
In my opinion it is exactly what you say INFORMATION. Severe inflammation can also trigger autoimmune disorders i have also gotten really sensitive to so many things allergic to stuff i was never allergic even the a sun rash! And never mind pain all over.
    Thank you for the video

Good idea..,but does he really care what humanity eats...or will greed consume him with the almighty $ (dollar). Most people can not afford real healthy food. The cost of trying to eat healthy food is tortuous. (especially those on welfare, or with disabilities and our senior citizens ....,they simply can not afford to eat such foods..Healthy food is only for the rich...PERIOD !!! This is one of the greatest tragedies of today... It's also traitorus and a crime to humanity.(my opinion..., but there are thousands who agree with me !)

I was/am on Keto too - I learned that a blend of whole 30 and Keto is best for me - no dairy - no pnutbutter- no grains, sugars - the usual no-nos... Fats from health oils ie.. avocados etc. It is a slow process for me since I spent many years yo-yoing and my metabolism is pretty trashed! Good luck to you!

Thank you so much. I just got diagnosed with high cholesterol which it’s common with women in menopause. As the estrogen lowers the body tries to balance it out with cholesterol. According to a menopause expert. There is so much information out there that is contradictory and didn’t feel right to me. Like the eggs. My gut knew that eggs were fine. If you are diabetic don't forget about dietary fiber. You subtract the amount of dietary fiber from the carb count and that is the true carb count. So, if the bread was 8 and the dietary fiber was 4, your carb count is actually ( 4 ). 8-4=4

Fear of cholesterol is bullshit. You need cholesterol, and your body produces the vast majority of it, not your food. They don't even measure cholesterol when they claim they do. They measure lipoproteins.
The real enemy is cardiovascular inflammation, caused by glycation. What you really want to be concerned about are your blood hemoglobin A1c, your carotid artery thickness, and your coronary artery calcium score. Respond to these with a low carb, healthy fat diet, moderate cardiovascular exercise (moving around) and resistance training (pick stuff up and move it around.) Avoid sugars (and sugar substitutes), grains and starches. Avoid "vegetable oils" that come from seeds (which is basically all of them except olive oil, avocado oil and coconut oil.)
Oats are a grain. Your body turns them into sugar. Avoid them. In fact, skip breakfast altogether to bring your blood sugar down. Beans have starches. It's best to avoid bean products. Your body turns them into sugar. All yogurt-all dairy products-have sugar. Lactose, is milk sugar. It is composed of glucose and galactose, both sugar. They also have casein, which is inflammatory. The kind of casein from grain-fed cows is the worst, so try to avoid grain-fed cow's milk products.
Saturated fat, by the way, is good for you. There is ZERO science behind saturated fat being bad for you. So getting fat from healthy animals is healthy. This means organic, grass-fed meats and oils are good for you.
So glad other people are calling out the cholesterol bullshit and the "healthy grains" too!

@@sheldonmurphy6031 Best wishes. There are good youtubers for this kind of info, including flav city, Dr Eric Berg DC, Dr Shawn Baker MD, Jason Fung (MD) and especially Dr. Sten Ekberg. I really like Dr Ekberg because he goes in depth and uses good presentation skills.
PS: Dr Jason Fung also has written some really good books on diabetes, insulin resistance and fasting. I have four of this audiobooks.
Specifically about cholesterol, you may want to search here for Dr David Diamond. He's done really good presentations, and I think Dr Ken Berry has addressed the topic too. All of the above are into eating "real food" for health, and not necessarily "plant based."

I am here as a testimony to the dated information that we have have all grown up with and the fact that it is just incorrect. I grew up believing meat and eggs were the problem. As someone diagnosed with extremely high cholesterol (over 500!) at the age of 31, I went on a search for accurate information and so thankful to find you. I switched my diet from simple gmo based carbs to an organic keto lifestyle and couldn't be happier or healthier. I eat my own free range non-gmo eggs (from my own property) every day, grassfed/grass finished meats and dairy, extremely limited complex gluten free carbs and my cholesterol is in "normal" range! The inflammation in my body (and primary cause of my cholesterol issues) is gone, pre-diabetes is gone, brain has no more fog, I sleep better oh and I lost 88 lbs in 9 months. Education is SO important and so is what you are doing on this platform. Thank you for the time that you put into this platform.

Great video. 3 questions. I know regular non organic bread is high in sugars & inflammatory. But Ezekiel bread is organic. What makes Ezekial bread inflammatory like you said in the video? Are egg whites in organic pasteurized eggs still inflammatory and why? Last, what does organic dairy and organic meat really mean? Does it mean the chickens or cows are only fed organic grains/corn, the grass they graze on not chemically sprayed, and animals not given antibiotics?

    • @barbarac-h5924
      @barbarac-h5924 2 роки тому

It is the wheat in the bread that makes it inflammatory - at least that is what I think I heard him say. It is far less evil than others - but it still should be limited. I did hear him say that Dave's Killer Bread - thin sliced is good. Dave's It's organic, it's packed with whole grains, and it tastes really freakin' great. And nutritionists love it: It's relatively high in protein, high in fiber, and low in sugar. ... When it comes to fiber, five grams or more per slice

This has been the only video that I do not agree with you in some parts. We need cholesterol. We need to be careful is with triglycerides and hyperinsulinimia. I recommend everyone stop having fear to cholesterol, read about Ancel Keys. Nina Teicholz is the one that talks and explain the history of oils and how fat is actually good for you. And cholesterol too. Also, Dr. Nadir Ali he is a cardiologist. Makes me sad that many are happy to lower cholesterol. The misinformation is very well spread... READ, ALWAYS READ. That's why we have so many sick people nowadays.
