    Girl, your hair, your hair, your hair! I ordered my AG shampoo and conditioner so that I can start my hair detox. I am not a wash and go person but you and your hair is absolutely beautiful. My products should arrive in about a week or two, I can't wait. I have already begun the process by eliminating oils, and in doing just that my wash day is a breeze; but to be honest, washdays were never difficult for me and I actually enjoy it. The only difference is that my twists dries faster because I eliminated using oils.

    I watched your video, ordered my buff, and thought… “I got it!” Woke up the next morning with it laying next to me. 😆 i’m watching closer this time. I think i see my mistake. 👏🏽

    I'm intrigued by the Buff. I had never heard of that. For sleeping, I usually tie on a scarf (to keep my edges laid down in place) and then put a bonnet on over that.

    I use similar coverings. Mine are a loc soc, slap cap, bonnet, and of course the satin pillowcase.

    Thank you for this video! I’ve been using an athletic headband to work out but I’ll try the buff now and see that makes a difference in keeping my hair. I thought it would do the same thing as a buff but my scalp sweat still gets to my hair when I work out. Beautiful hair as always!!❤️❤️❤️

    Wow! Thank you for sharing.👍🏾😀 I'm going to try the Buff. I sweat alot when I sleep. This might work better than the silk cap that I was going to purchase from Amazon, because it wicks moisture away. I enjoy watching you. You seem so friendly and down to earth. I subscribed. 😊👏🏽❤️

    Thanks for this. I think you are my "hair twin". I wash my hair 4-5 days and workout 5 days a week as well. I always wear 2 twists because I'm thinking a wash and go else won't last after one day at the gym. Every now and then I'll do a twistout, but I tie it down with chunky twists. I'll try the buff and start doing wash and gos which is what I've not done because of the gym.

    Hey, thanks for the video! The buff seems interesting. I’ve seen similar versatile cloths around here but not the buff specifically. I’ll look into it for the future. For now, I just sleep with a bonnet. Question though: Have you dealt with much flatness when you first started working on your wash and go? I sleep on my right side and my hair gets pressed so flat that it’s hard to properly keep the fullness. The curls also get pressed out and stretched. It could be that my curls aren’t set right or because I don’t use much product (I like it feeling “softer” and fluffier and don’t enjoy the hardness of gel so I don’t use a lot). Anyway, it’s why I wanted to know if you (or anyone reading) dealt with this in the past and if so how it was mitigated.
    In any case, I enjoy how clear and direct your videos are. It’s nice of you to share what you’ve been learning and doing :)

      Thanks for watching! My curly cut helps keep my shape in tact and also soft hair or less of a gel caste can make it easier for the shape of the hair to get distorted. Hope this helps!

    Great video with in depth explanations of how you protect your hair. I have been using a silk bonnet for some time but I find the buff much more comfortable. My concern is that the buff, it it removes moisture when you are working out, does it also remove moisture from your hair overnight, drying your hair out? I understand that the buff helps in not reactivating the gel. Even given my concern about the buff damaging my hair, I have not noticed any problems in its use...

    • @FoAdunni
      @FoAdunni  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Rina! Thanks and great question. I haven't experienced any dryness with the buff. I think it just wicks away excess moisture. Also I was introduced to the Buff by the stylist Aiesha of Black Girl Curls, so I'm taking her professional opinion that the Buff is beneficial, not damaging.

    How do you combat single strand knots? it’s like I’m getting them out of no where no matter how I moisturize. My ends are super fluffy and a bit drying when I apply cream or leave in’s does nothing. It’s like my hair got over it.

    • @FoAdunni
      @FoAdunni  3 роки тому +2

      I always wear my hair in a healthy defined manner, get quarterly trims, and use healthy hair care practices that I have discussed with my stylist. This is how I prevent knots.

    Have you ever went a full week before washing while sleeping with the Buff? I ask because after about 6 days, my hair is dried out, using the Buff and Loc Soc (recently bought one after giving up on the Buff). I don't have that issue with a bonnet. But, my hair is less flattened with the Buff/Loc Soc. Decisions!!! I mostly wash on Sundays and Wednesdays, but sometimes life happens and it happens day 7.

    • @FoAdunni
      @FoAdunni  3 роки тому +2

      Yes I have! My hair does well. The buff isn't drying for my hair. In my upcoming video this week, a week in my wash n go, you'll see my hair after six days. Stay tuned.

      Ok, will do. But, my guess is Aishia's hair gets that frizzy, dried look at the end of her wash cycle because of the Buff. But, I'm guessing..... 😬

    • @FoAdunni
      @FoAdunni  3 роки тому +1

      @@johannajay3176 😨 Aiesha's hair is frizzy etc because her hair surface texture and strand size is coarse. There are some people who's hair won't reflect light as much and may also have a rougher look and feel and we have to see that natural hair as just as beautiful as any other natural hair or basically get used to the look of her hair texture. Also in a recent live she said she no longer wears a buff. 💗
