I love the Buff! I sleep it in every night and it preserves my wash n go, which I wash and style (in shower Antony Dickey method) every 4 days or so. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time.
I have never used a buff, but heard about it. I am so intrigued, and will check it out! I would really like to get to longer days of maintenance with my WNGs, and this looks promising. Thanks for sharing!
This is super helpful. I’m going to go grab one right now. I’ve seen plenty of them at Dick’s Sporting Goods or other sporting stores because some folks started using them as workout masks for the gym (once the gyms opened back up).
To my understanding, satin and silk reduce friction on our hair. The buff holds my hair down and in place, reducing friction. I also sleep on a satin pillowcase. I keep the hair moisturized my cleansing, conditioning and styling every week. Moister in my hair comes from water. Dryness can be caused by a lack of water in the hair.

Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been looking for ways to prolong the definition of my set overnight. This is so helpful 🙏🏾
I've seen these in my local beauty supply stores at prices starting at $3. The fabric is usually a smooth synthetic fiber.
Thank you! That was very informative and straight to the point. Tonight will be my first night sleeping in buff 🙏🏽
Great!

You’re welcome. I didn’t under standing it until I tried it for myself. It keeps my hair from smushing prematurely 😁

Thanks for sharing! Very helpful!
I pull mine downwards not up, then there’s no chance of my hair refusing to come down in the morning. When I take it off I just shake and go
I started pulling it down more after I made this video 😁
I pull up day 1 - 3 for more volume and then pull down after that. Both options work well.
I appreciate the feedback of pulling up or down.. because I like pulling up for more volume on days 1-3 but I might consider pulling down after.
@@masquerade5092 this is so savvy. Thanks for sharing that!
You’re welcome. There are really no rules to the buff. Do what works for you and your curls.
That looks good! When I use my buff my hair doesn't same thing until I pull it down! Thanks for letting me know where this video was!
You’re welcome!
Smart!
Thanks
Where did you purchase this (is it the same thing as a Gaiter)? Does the microfiber draw moisture out of your tresses?
Hi Elizabeth! Amazon. I’ve listed it in my Amazon store. Here is the link amzn.to/3FB0s3j
I’ve used them for over a year.
If we are supposed to use satin to keep our hair moisturized, how does this protect our hair from dryness?

Do you ever workout with the buff on?
Yes ma’am
Is your hair a wng?
Yes it’s a wash and go. It also works with a twist out.
