Marcus is the best live show I’ve been to yet. I wasn’t alive in the 70’s but I feel like I get to experience real rock n roll through Marcus and some upcoming acts.
My favorite show I’ve been to by far and I saw Clapton and Winwood playing blind faith jams when I was 18. Which is hard to beat

Discovered Marcus during the pandemic. Watched him jam with Billy Strings. Saw him this past year. Unbelievable musician.

Yeah. Saw this amazing dude in a small, half-full theater about five years ago and couldn’t believe the show and how great that band is. I hope we have many more years of his music.

Until now I had not heard of him. Thanks Marty! The Ryman is very special. I got to work there on a TV show called Nashville and you could feel the weight in there. I got to go up to the attic and see the old arbor system for the stage. Magical place. I've had an aversion to country music my whole life but I'm beginning to see the error of my ways
Saw him at the Tabernacle in Atlanta earlier this month. The dude killed it. The whole band did. It was a killer show.

Wow that first riff has a really dark Green Onions meets Born Under A Bad Sign vibe. I loved the way you dug into how he writes riffs. I like how he compared riffs to speaking...

My dad met Marcus and Billy strings at the Opry he said they both were awesome great guys.
Marcus King is amazing and a breath of fresh air.
I must of been living under a rock all these years. I seen the ABB and Gov't Mule so many times
and never even heard of Marcus King until recently. I didn't realize the connection, late on that one lol.
That all being said, Marcus is a monster of a guitar player/singer/ and writer. All this at a young age
a young man with an old soul. I dig the fact that he can do the blues very well but have some jazz flavor
whenever he wants too. The young man is humble but knows damn well he's really good. Very easy to become
a fan. It's cool that even his grandma in law not blood related has become a huge fan of his, that's so cool.

I first saw Marcus with Chris Robinson's band "As The Crow Flies" and have been a fan ever since! He was only 21 at the time....what a huge talent he is! Thanks for making this video, Marty!
