The editing was absolutely brilliant at times in Airwolf - the bit where the chap says "Now he'll shoot us down" and then the cut to the music and Airwolf growl, just superb!
I love Airwolf and I always will when I'm on my motorcycle I call her the lady and she goes very quick Long Live Airwolf forever and ever Stringfellow Hawke I miss you as well as Caitlin
The actress who played her was married to Donald Belisario, the creator/producer of the Airwolf series. I think he left the show after the 2nd season, and she left with him.
Dave if you didn't know this her real name is Deborah Pratt is her real name she wrote alot of Episodes of Quantum Leap The Scott Bakula series and i believe directed alot of Episodes of that series too.
Loved the recycled shots of Airwolf lifting off in the lair with that sports bike and then shows String and Dom in the cabin. I can't believe String and Dom would be riding a motorcycle together
There are 2 scenes from 2 different episodes. One is Moffet's ghost when they had to fly Air Wolf to ceiling to freeze Moffet's virus out. The other scene is when Airwolf had to stop multiple nuclear warheads. String told Dom to open her up to gain enough speed to be able to shoot each warhead down.
I'm pretty sure they recycled a lot of scenes. No CGI and it was the 80s. Stunts werent the same as today so they tended to use the same stunt scene multiple times. This show did see one stuntman die.
Really enjoyed watching Air Wolf even though JMV was excellent as String, my favourite is Michael Archangel as loved Alex Cord since seeing him in the remake of Stagecoach
The dogfight between Airwolf and the mustang is recycled from the earlier episode the American Dream and the same footage would later be reused in the season 3 episode Little Wolf.
Alex Palmer your subject about Airwolf footage I agree with you the worst footage was its competitor Blue Thunder they use every last bit of footage from the movie they OD'd on movie like footage as if they had no ideas is at all .
Oh, I'm sure they had ideas. They just had a limited amount of time and technology to make those ideas reality. Battlestar Galactica was a good example. They were trying to do a Star Wars-type TV series, and the technology was only barely up to it at the time. They did the same thing with their movie that Blue Thunder did. They did what they had to back then, I guess...
She was involved with Donald Bellisario at the time. When he left after this season, so did she. If she had stuck around, maybe things would've been different.
Alex Palmer thank you for your response I was wondering about this for many years I believe that. show may have lasted a little longer than it did. the last time I saw her was when Airwolf was given a whole new cast and then her character was killed off in the first episode.
In the pilot episode when Hawk was given the mission to get Airwolf back, one of the stipulations was to work with Archangel's assistant Gabrielle. Hawk was reluctant and tried to be distant from her but wound up falling for her. She was sent ahead to gather intel for Hawk on where Airwolf was held. Her cover was blown and she was tortured while Hawk stole Airwolf. He found her in the desert beaten and dehydrated and she died in his arms. After he didn't want to team up with women on missions again and was very cold and distant to all of Archangel's assistants. He was very reluctant to bring Kate on and kept her out of arm's reach as well.
I love the original airwolf John Mic Lovely Incredible airwolf Jan m Michael Vincent Ernest borgnine Alex cord and then Jean Bruce Jean Bruce Scott 3 seasons William Wade 👍🎥❣️🙂🤗
Good show and scene. Hate to nit-pick but the P-51 did not have 50 mms guns (almost 2 inches). They had 6 .50 calibre (.5 inches) guns. Still a fun scene
No. Marella (Deborah Pratt, who was also married to the show's creator Donald Bellisario who would of course create Quantum Leap and NCIS) never got a chance to fly AIrwolf.
John Kozlowski Why? What for? It was a ‘cliffhanger’ edit to lead you into thinking he or Archangel & Marella had been shot down. A refreshing change to the previous 20+ battles, where we *did* see String shoot down the enemy aircraft.
I'm certain that String shot him down. He's shown hitting the trigger. The enemy plane shot two missiles at the Lear jet but missed (they whizzed by on Marella's scope). Then the missile String fired hits its target.
Audrey Seddon Well, yes...he did. We see them alive & well in the next scene. But the missiles aren’t shown whizzing by *Airwolf’s* scope - and Marella’s reaction conveys her total horror at them coming towards *her*.
marella`s kind of cute especially when she smiles, and what is it with archangel i understand that someone has to be his pilot, but why not a man, and not only are they all ladies they also seem to be all supermodels, as well as being his pilots i hope that they are also not his girlfriends as well.
Also Archangel told in an early episode that he prefered beautiful and talented ladies as his spies they were better for getting secrets ( you can guess how).
When a helicopter shows up doing mach 1 and firing missiles and you're in a little prop you think you'd just bug out and call it a day.
The editing was absolutely brilliant at times in Airwolf - the bit where the chap says "Now he'll shoot us down" and then the cut to the music and Airwolf growl, just superb!
First Morella vs a Mustang, then Caitlin against a Corsair. Either or... Don't mess with the "Lady"
its because JMV and Airwolf I became a pilot....thank you
Shooting a missile out of the air with another missile. When you're 12 that seems totally believable.
I agree.
I love Airwolf and I always will when I'm on my motorcycle I call her the lady and she goes very quick Long Live Airwolf forever and ever Stringfellow Hawke I miss you as well as Caitlin
If I’d got to even see The Lady just once up close think I would of cried as a kid. Having said that think I would now. Obsession lasts a lifetime.
Yes i watched theses videos on you tube after coming across them and what do you know I'm obsessed all over again.
I am also obsessed with this programme season 1 to 3.
Over and over again
Sadly the real helicopter crash in an attempt to rescue someone off a mountain. "The Lady" was an air ambulance
@@eddiecanisAn 'air ambulance' on steroids, that is!
When the upbeat music 🎶 starts, Airwolf is in battle position
And always ends with a kill
The end of that episode were evil guy got the shock of his life with archangel and co showing up was well worth the end lol
The timing for Airwolf"s entry is perfect.
Yes indeed.
I love this show watched when I was young!
Because of this channel I bought the Blue ray complete dvd set
This was one of my favourites.
R.I.P jian michael vicent outstading series!
I loved the line at the end,
"We don't exchange what we terminate."
But in the first season episode, string said: "we only gift wrapped we don't deliver."😂
AIRWOLF Is THE BEST SPY SHOW THAT YEAR
Marella barrel rolling the jet 🙈 what a shame she wasn't cast further into the series
She was married to producer Donald Bellisario
love airwolf only thing i could never stand was the reuse of shots from other episodes
Oh, you are one bundle of optimism 😂
I'm a huge fan of Marella ♥
She got better with age. Kinda like wine.👍
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@PostPatriot they did a episode tribute to Reid Rondel who died during filming a episode.
They also reused the scene from the episode where asian farmers are being attacked by a warlord in the P51.

World war 2 plane
Not surprising. They recycled footage a lot back then, and not just in this series. Quick way to save money, I guess.

They recycled a lot of footage in Airwolf. Including flight, aircraft, chain guns firing and missile explosion scenes.
I love how they show the radar in test mode when the have a flame out.
AIRWOLF To The Rescue Give Me Turbo Boost And Deploy Weapons Roar
Marella was gorgeous
Troian's mom aka Marella.
Correct
Airwolf you made it
MARELLA SHOULD HAVE BEEN AS THE THIRD PILOT IN AIRWOLF I ALWAYS ADMIRED HER . DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY SHE WASN'T NEXT ?
She was involved with Donald Bellisario at the time. When he left after this season, so did she. If she had stuck around, maybe things would've been different.

jonathan goode Her character was never killed off. Nor was Caitlin.

@@avgcitizen5974 I think he always viewed Kate as a little sister
To be honest, I always admired Caitlin on the show, but Marella was a doll.❤❤❤
Hi is there any way I can get all the episodes n from where

I've actually got the complete box set of AIR WOLF I HAVE ALSO GOT THE AIR WOLF TV THEME
Thank you airwolf I kiss lady on the nose
why.Marella didn't call out for may day for help?
This one's not believable. A Learjet cruises at about 50,000 feet, well above and out of the range of a P-51.
A growling mach1 attack chopper showed up on my 6 I.would run low and fast not attack😂😂😂
How to watch full episodes
Please don't forget about me airwolf
Airwolf where are you I'm scared

And and P-51 would probably have a bit of a hard time keeping up with a Learjet, especially if it decides to climb above the clouds.
Marella one amazing plot bet she could fly airwolf was there show her flying airwolf
No. Marella (Deborah Pratt, who was also married to the show's creator Donald Bellisario who would of course create Quantum Leap and NCIS) never got a chance to fly AIrwolf.
Should have shown String shooting him down.

It's called storytelling. Showing it here would have ruined the "reveal" in the next scene.
I heard the name F.I.R.M. what does the acronym stand for
airwolf.fandom.com/wiki/F.I.R.M
man marells was so hot back then
marella`s kind of cute especially when she smiles, and what is it with archangel i understand that someone has to be his pilot, but why not a man, and not only are they all ladies they also seem to be all supermodels, as well as being his pilots i hope that they are also not his girlfriends as well.

What is the episode title?
Severance pay
Marella was cool but would of loved Gabriella
I want to see Hawk shoot that P51 down.
Airwolf help
Sería bueno que pasará los capítulos del lobo del aire en español
Really liked the movie and first season. Series went down hill from then on.
I stopped watching :02 seconds into it. Why a 2” video is beyond my comprehension.
Small screen sucks
Scott Brown But at least you get watch The Lady in action/had to be small screen due to copyright ✅
