- Driveway pour of all driveway pours! If you were curious as to what I was doing in fall of 2021... this is it! This project certainly pushed us to the edge in terms of physical strain (back and knees) as well as time constraint... couple day late would've equaled disaster in terms of cold weather! I hope I don't see rebar and concrete for a while... but I think we might have some more to do later on this year..!

Seriously great to have you back -- the drive way looks awesome, I'm sure y'all will enjoy that.
Thank you, already looking forward to working on it come summer!
Happy to be back!
Portuguese concrete finishers be proud of you 🇵🇹🇨🇦👏👏👏👏
Wow, what a project! Thank goodness for concrete pumpers and redi-mix concrete. 🙂 Love the new channel concept, looking forward to the Firebird and the Belvedere.
Thank you, hopefully things pick up with the new channel and consistent content. Firebird will be coming p in a few weeks so stay tuned! The driveway was quite the undertaking! Glad it's finally done though! Yes, pump truck was a must!!
Yea.... nothing like a concert drive. Looks amazing.
Thank you, cost us a car or two... but yes, worth it lol!
@@Theoldcarchannel. I bet it was costly, thats a lot of concrete.
Good gosh! What an excellent improvement to your home! It can be a great RC car track, too, LOL! I hope you enjoy using it for your car projects!
One would think a drive way won't take much time or effort, but it's one hell of an undertaking. Great work!
Driveway looks amazing Mike. Still getting used to the new channel name, but have to say I'm glad you will be dropping video's regularly !
Thanks Paul, was a crazy amount of work for a 12 day period (Nov 8-20) of on and off work. The rebar was the crusher to the body!
Yeah I can see the views reflecting that unfortunately...hopefully people catch on.
Regardless, happy/ glad to have whatever support I can get! Next week we get back to the cars!
Hey Brother. Good video. Things are coming together. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍
Wow now that’s a huge project, in the city a small driveway costs a lot but I could imagine what that costed you guys 🙈
But it’s totally worth it shovelling a dirt road sounds like a nightmare! 😜
Nice job 👏👏👏👏🇨🇦
Nice job! This will sure help keeping your fleet clean-ish between the garage and the main road.
Thank you! Haha yeah nothing like washing the car and creating a mud pit at the same time😅🤣! Will be a breeze to work on this summer! Can't wait!
That's one nice driveway! That will be great if you need to do some work outside.
Already got your first oil and grease stains. She's ready to go. Plenty of surfaces to hoard...I mean store cars too.
Gravel Sucks, Dude! (For mechanics)🙁☹️😖😫😩 I’m so Glad for You!👍😀 Be careful not to let those tree root systems get Too Big, they will crack concrete. ☹️
I have a feeling you have snowplow already for the snow
Get the go carts out! Little oil will just make things interesting!
Wow that driveway looks awesome, can’t imagine it being exactly cheap though even when you guys did most of the ground work! I hope in the future when I can do my own driveway it will look half as nice as yours man😎👍👍
Thank you, we saved a fair bit doing the forming and rebar ourselves... but yeah cost us a couple cars lol 😅 well worth it though!
If you do the hard work and have the right finishers... can look just as good if not better (pour in the warm fall).
@@Theoldcarchannel. Definitely, I’m thinking if I can get enough money saved up I’m going to get mine done next summer 😎👍👍
Definitely seemed like the snowing wasn’t helping the cause too much 😎👍👍
i hear ya. right now i'm working outside in the dirt. moving an engine on a cherry picker is a pita.
edit: my vote for the coolest home kart track. congrats to you guys!
1/2 - 3/4 Plywood is your friend when working on dirt/gravel! Cheapest work floor and makes your life a breeze compared to the dirt/gravel
@@Theoldcarchannel. agreed. i was waiting until the price of wood came down and the weather to warm up here in new england.
no burnouts on that new surface! or at least let dad be the first.
Why concrete vs asphalt? It looks really good tho!
Awesome let the 65 fastback do the first burnout lol
It was actually the first one to drive on it... so might be the first to do a burnout on it😎👌
Sweet
Remember, if it is leaking, it has oil!
I got confused I forgot you changed the channel name 🤣
