It’s cool to se her driving a mixer but who ever showed her a routine messed up the pre trip after she got loaded, the washing how of the hopper at the job and not checkin be your mud and relying on a slump gauge was kinda crazy but to each there own
I also work in ready mix. You are WAY more careful and considerate of your equipment than my co-workers are. I see them do stuff like slam the chutes, slam on the brakes when backing into the loadout, just hard on the trucks... and we run relatively late model trucks and they're wondering why stuff always breaks. Good job taking great care of your truck and job!
Typical mentality of most USA workers (white, black, hispanic). I've personally seen a fellow co-worker just throwing & slamming boxes onto the floor, which could potentially break whatever is inside. You won't see that kind of behavior with asians. My brother tells me the same thing at his work. His co-worker don't give a sh!t about doing the job right & correct. Lunch time, got a few bolts left, just throw it inside the box, instead of properly doing their job & tightening it down. So their products are defective, due to lazy workers, so he has to go & fix their "don't give a crap". At 1 of my former job, my boss laments to me that he wishes there were more ppl like me at work. He's black, all the workers are black, except me. Everything they touch slowly turns to crap, but there's a few good ones, like my ex-boss.
Very impressive. She does it right. What impressed me the most, locking the manual chute lock. So many lazy people don't do that not realizing that the mechanical/air locks can fail. Nice work
I’m a girl and I want to learn to drive a truck. I am a student pilot but driving a truck has also been on my mind a lot over the years. I love that you went for it! Go, girl! Cool intro btw, I liked the part where you set up your little lonchita and listened to Ozzy on the way to work 🎸
Yep I had 11 year in the concrete business driving both rear discharge and front discharge Oshkosh and Mack 10 yards at a time even though legal with the booster axel was 8 1/2 yards for most whom don’t know 1 yards = 4000lbs = 2ton so 32000lbs at 8 1/2 yard but we carried 10 yards so 40,000 lbs with 175 gal of water and 100 gal of fuel 27,800 empty plus 40,000 lbs miss it. Did a lot of conveyer and pump work here in the big city of Chicago have fun stay safe and have a great Christmas 😊
You must be one of the ones that don't know the weight of a yard of concrete LOL...For your information, a yard of concrete weights 4000 lbs. not 2000 lbs.
@dennismcclintock3154 10 years ago, we could get away with 11 yds dry on a paystar 5000 with no tag or pusher... just mind them bridges and weight limits..
I’m very impressed with your ability in handling a concrete truck. I noticed when you were adding H20 to the mix you didn’t wash the hopper before leaving the plant, is that common practice in California? I must give you two thumbs up for driving that manual Beast, and to be truthful I’m very jealous of you for being able to have a manual truck because I HEART those Dinosaurs because you much better control over your truck. Marin- Marietta switched to all automatic trucks and HATE it with a passion; however today’s young drivers can’t shift without burning up the clutch and that’s a freaking shame. Be very careful and please be safe and take your time because folks that never operated a cement truck haven’t a clue to how hazardous they are and can be on certain jobs. Keep grinding and make your money because there’s not a lot of people that’s willing to do what you’re doing because it takes courage and guts and sacrificing to ride in the driver’s seat working those crazy hours.
As a commercial driver for over 36 years and last 5 years a ready mix driver, the only thing I saw wrong was how she got out of the of the cab. I guess I was taught different. I would always rinse the hopper and fins before leaving the plant. Keep on trucking.
Ran one of these mixers this season. Winter has arrived up north so its pretty much done. Not sure if will do it next year. Not enough driving and too much washing up. You go pretty girl!

Yeah, I oiled my seat in the semi at the end of one day, it took about 4 minutes to locate and eliminate the squeaky. I replied that one more 12 hour night with that seat and I wouldn't be a driver either.

Nobody cares, go make a UA-cam channel.
I’m a mixer driver now. First job after getting my class a. How’s the oil tanker life?
@@nosir1440 I think it's more enjoyable running from California to Nevada 2 times a week
Awesome video. Welcome to the ready mix life lol. Best job ever
"and Im ready to Roll, yeaahh" 😆
I love the way you carefully prepare your lunch.....LOL LOL LOL
Nice driving, young lady, and aren't those pump jobs a welcome break? The curb jobs were a drag, but even those weren't so bad. I'm retired now and I sure miss it. Safe driving and Be Well!!
Lol I did this for a year, and the other operator's told me when I started it was sink, or swim. I left that job to get my Class A, and make more money.
This was a great and simple video. I would have liked to see parking the truck and driving home but I really enjoyed this 9 minutes.
I would have liked seeing her in bed. Cool video. Good looking lady
That seat would drive me nuts!
I didn’t know that concrete looks like loads of poops 💩 before watching this one 😮
She is listening to Ozzy, now I like her even more :D
Very impressive
Great video. I hope some people watch and wake up!
Exactly work job. Well done 👍🏻

Only in the US a concrete mixer driver can afford this type of car. Here in Brasil we cant buy a tapperware like urs, imagine this M2 kkk
Been driving mixers for 12 years or so. It’s Saturday and I will work today.
Not enough drivers.
This woman is awesome. Great shifting.
Peterbuilt. I’m in a kenworth. I don’t like that long front end when turning in tight spaces.
And yes even beautiful women can do this job. We have several driving for us.
"Alright guys concrete trucks pulling in, let's get ready to rush!"
"Wait, wait, who on earth is that?"
I drive a ready mix truck for a living it's okay and the money is good how do you like it you handle the truck really well
Sounds like their is a dog squeak toy in the cab lol
Good to see a young woman doing a great job. For the love of God lubricate that seat! That squeaking smh.
I can hear the drivers seat squeaking while your driving. Mine started doing that and it drove me crazy. I had to spray WD40 on the spring on the bottom of the seat. No more squeak.
Yooo nice vid! But can we get a video on the new M3?! ❤
