Just goes to show how many amazing talented people live ordinary lives who have never achieved success. Peter used to work as a steward at the Manchester Arena where he would later perform. Peter Kay epitomises these folk who finally achieve success through hard work and dedication. For me this northern chap who comes from a town near to me is one of the funniest and most entertaining comedians that I have ever seen. So glad you’re back Peter.
I'm feeling that now broken car and I use call my mum who past away to tell her so I put this on to cheer me up cos I'm from Bolton and Bolton boy Peter kay know how to cheer u up like I had some chocolate today and it made me think of well its a great day then I had a fry up video. haha.
I've just been to watch Peters new show in Manchester and just have to say that things haven't calmed down. It was incredible! He gets better, it was an emotional rollercoaster! It still hasn't sunk in exactly what I just witnessed but Peter is a true national treasure that really pulls you up out the s**t when needed. I have so much love for you and your Family Mr Kay. You make life easier to digest and we Love you for it! 💚
i been to see him in Manchester in july and i totally know what you mean an emotional Roller coster brilliant night i wanted to go see him ever since i saw his first tour in blackpool on dvd i never laughed so much
Throwing up at school. I'm 74, but just watching you brought back several memories from over the years at school. The sawdust always smelt of 'Dettol or Izal disinfectant'. Crazily weird. Thanks for the memories. 😊😊😊
Aw God bless you. I lost my Mum at the end of 2020. Because of the pandemic we couldn’t return Scotland. 🏴. So this summer we are finally going to get to go home and scatter her ashes. In 2 weeks actually. This will be the first time that my sister and I will be home without our Mum being there.
I remember Peter being interviewed on BBC radio 1 in the afternoon in 1995. I was driving at the time and almost crashed my eyes were crying so much from laughing! I was hooked from then in with his humour. Me being a Northerner too haha.
I’ve just come from Lee Evans UA-cam channel and I am in disbelief that both of these comedians (legends) channels are only around a quarter of a million subscribers. The world is missing out on such tremendous humour and giggles 😂😂😂
The "that's coffee mate".... "I'm not your fuckin mate" made me laugh so much I nearly wet myself!!! The thing I love about Peter Kay is everything is true to life and everyone has lived at least one of the life situations ,you can't help but agree!!!! ❤🙏❤xxxx
Im back...this is probably the 10th time I've watched it...doesn't matter it never gets old. U need a good belly laugh or a cheer up, he's your man ❤❤😂😂😂
I took my dad to get a few teeth out and when we got home he was still under the ‘ influence ‘ and my husband rang up to see if he was okay, my dad said who is that and I said it’s Neil to see how you are and my dad said ‘ tell him I got my teeth out and a gas cooker put in ‘ what do you say to that? Professional idiot is what he is. ❤️🇬🇧
He said nothing live on stage, nothing at all for neigh on five minutes, funny as fc 😂 love this mans knowledge and very kind interpretation of the human condition. ❤
In all honesty I find it difficult to believe anyone past junior school age doesn’t know what garlic bread is. Same goes for cheesecake. I had tried, and liked, both very much by the age of eight or nine.
I could watch Peter Kay all day every day & never get bored. He's ^^^ up there with the best stand-up's for sure!! My son & I (he's 24) absolutely love The Bolton Albert Hall show best, in fact we pretty much know all the words lol, Crimewatch being our favourite. We often just randomly say to each other 'Proper wooden Frank comes on (hair flick) as I was driving towards work' and then we decide we need to watch it ... again!!! All round fantastic comedian and this Best Of is brilliant!!
I used to work at Sports Direct (2017-2021) and Peter Kay was about the only comedian my colleagues could talk about. Comedians like Les Dawson, Ken Dodd, Victoria Wood, Russ Abbott, Canon & Ball, Jasper Carrot, The Two Ronnies and tv shows like Keeping up Appearances, The Brittas Empire, One Foot in the Grave etc. None of them had ever heard of them! I must be getting old! 😢
I'm already old I remember all those programs didn't think any of them were that funny. They say the seventies and eighties were the golden age of television personally I thought it was crap with a few exceptions
Peter Kay's comedy genius is down to the fact that it is so relatable to most people. Even I who loves more intellectual comedy like Jack Dee, Sean Lock, etc, can see this.
Ive just watched this video again for the, must be 20th (if not more) time, and i still cried with laughter. Last night i watched the outtakes to "Car Share" & "Phoenix Night's" for the umpteenth time, & again i cried with laughter. Peter is a comedic genius imo, i adore him, and im so pleased hes back performing. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
He always says it as it is. Being the subject of a joke or the butt or a joke, are miles apart. People are far too sensitive now days. It's not what you say, how you say it. I'm a northerner of a similar age. One of my favorites with Sean Locke, God bless him. Love nostalgia!
Despite how old these clips are, it's amazing how it still applies today. I hadn't realised how much I've missed Peter Kay.
He’s not dead !
@@michaelking8642who said he was dead?

Same over and over
Yup
"Hello, my name is Mum" 😂😂 never gets old
And my number is... 😂😂😂
What you speaking like that for, you're not even Irish 🤣
Every now and then I come back to these clips just to remind myself how good life used to be.
Seen him live at the 02 last year and I laughed until I cried! Best comedian ever imo 💙
