    I juiced pomegranates this morning and the juice was just so sweet and perfect and I used a nama J2 juicer. It was not bitter at all. Just super sweet and delicious.
    Thanks for showing the two ways. I don’t have a vacuum blender and they’re a small fortune, so I’ll stick with my Nama J2, also not the cheapest juicer on the market, but produced delicious pomegranate juice! 😊

    hey boys and girls, I picked up one of these dynapro's from John. it is the most amazing device of its kind I've ever worked with and I already own tribest slowstar, try best shine, and Omega 843 vertical. PS bought them all from John. I want him to keep making these videos they're amazing!
    anyway this dynapro does everything for me from vacuum blending, vacuum juicing and vacuum sealing my jars for storage. all in one machine! the quality of the juice and the smoothies is off the charts! seemed a little weird at press squeezing that juice bag but it only took a day for it to become part of my zen. if you want to go to the next level consider one of these dynapro's.

    After much researching and consideration I purchased the Zulay hand pressed juicer for this purpose of juicing pomegranates from Amazon and it left no bitter taste. I also used my Kuvings Auto 830, I didn’t want to go the extra mile and strain it so it left an extreme bitter taste that I threw out. I prefer hand pressing vs Blending. You lose some granules hand pressing but you can always extract the rest from the pomegranate and eat them as well.

  • @pkeyrich
    @pkeyrich 2 роки тому +14

    The pressed juice supposedly has the bitterness of the seeds, but the blended juice has a lot more of the seed bitterness and other contents because they were released by blending, obliterating the seeds. There's a big difference.

    • @gmpas
      @gmpas 2 роки тому +3

      when he's squeezes the pomegranate in the press doesn't also squeeze out the bitterness from all that membrane that's in there? I try to keep that stuff out of my juice. I much prefer that vacuum system myself.

    We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

    Pomegranate juicing is a little hassle. But I like the juice and I don’t like the bitterness. So I remove the seeds and put it in a filets bag and press it. This way I avide the bitterness from the white stuff and from the nuts of the seeds. By pressing it manually I avoid the deterioration of nutrients by the speed of the blender.

    The delicious fruit pomegranate is mentioned in the Quran three times: (Surah Al Anaam, chapter 6, verse 99 and 141 - Surah Ar-Rahman, chapter 55, verse 68). It has a beautiful structure with gem-like beauty covered within layers resembling a honeycomb

By it being mentioned in the Quran does that verify that pomegranate are indeed real?or the Quran is indeed real? How many ways can you spell Quran? Almost as numerous as hannaka (?). The beauty of such references is that they invite exploration and reflection. As for Kankakee, it sounds like an interesting place to visit. I wish i could get through this screen and drink both! But I’m sure the darker juice is just as good because you are meant to have “bitter” things every day to help the stomach. It would be helpful to know what the vacuum juicer (blender bit, AND the little black thing) is called, and where you can get it, and how much both that, and the press is? Hopefully someone does a press that pushes itself (kinda like a hydraulic in a way) coz got weak wrists and hands

    I have viewed your informative video on Cold Press Juicer.
    Nice.
    I have a query.
    While making juice of De-Seed of pomegranate in Cold Press Juicer, it's juice is not watery red transparent in colour just like it's few drops coming out at the time of its De Seed.
    Instead it is purple and slight thicky.
    Is it normal in Cold Press Juicer ?
    Can you spare some of your time.
    Regards.

    The white part of the pomegranate inbetween the juicy seeds is supposed to be an anti-viral. I have used water to process my pomegranate in the blender and made drinkable juice that way. The water would probably keep down the oxidation. I would rather just water my pomegranate tree during the growth season. I like drinking water too, though.

    Such a gimmick and is totally unnecessary. If you want to juice your pomegranates, then juice them. If you want to blend them, then blend them. Doing this on a regular basis is the critical key to getting tons of polyphenols - NOT trying to suck every last bit of air out before mixing, as if that is going to have a significant difference that can be scientifically proven. Also, the approach with the blender and drain bag is going to create a giant mess. Good luck getting all those stains off your counter and washed out of your clothes.
    If anything, his juice became far more oxidated by juicing, then letting it sit there, while talking forever before he finally drinks it. Just juice your fruits cold and drink it, or refrigerate it immediately with a touch of lemon juice.
    Up next:
    Flying in a rocket so you can avoid oxygen all together, and juice your pomegranates while in space.

    • @HeyChickens
      @HeyChickens Рік тому

      The color difference here is not because of the vacuum, but rather because of blending up the whole arils with the seeds as opposed to just squeezing out the liquid. What the vacuum accomplishes is to preserve the polyphenols. Those polyphenols are like a sponge that soaks up free oxygen, so we want that "sponge" to be as "dry" as possible when it gets into our bodies so that it can soak up the free radical oxygen there in our bodies.

    Hi John I have 2 questions for you:
    1. Since you have a Pure Juicer, would you get better results using the hydraulic press part of the Pure in conjunction with the Alexa's Nut milk Bag to press out juice after blending? I'm sure it would be at least less time consuming.
    2. Is it possible to buy a standalone electric hydraulic press that presses only? I want to avoid the expensive of a Pure juicer when I just want the benefit of the hydraulic press feature after vacuum blending to make my juice. Thanks for any insight on this matter....

    Come on John, how can a pomegranate juice be awful or bitter? That’s the most densely flavored fruit juice in the world. And you got some ripe ones. Maybe switch varieties? When pits get blended in, it tastes like detergent. Such a nutritious thing yet a betrayal to such a delicious fruit…

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  Місяць тому +1

      the arils alone are sweet and delicious, not bitter. but if you eat (or juice) some of the white pith and/or rind of the fruit, it does get bitter and strong tasting, due to the nutrients in these parts of the fruit.

    • @jbrian53
      @jbrian53 11 місяців тому

      The press juicer is not squeezing a significant amount of 'juice' from the white seeds. That's why the result has a stronger color and flavor...it's just red juice. When blended he's adding the mostly neutral flavor of the seeds, even if he uses a cloth filter, so it makes a drink with a milder flavor.

      Yes, that is the next best way AFTER vacuum blending, as the vacuum blender
      1) grinds better than a slow juicer and extracts more nutrient from the seeds than a slow juicer
      2) grinding in an oxygen deprived environment to ensure minimal degradation of the oxygen sensitive nutrients.

    JOHN HOW OLD ARE YOU? PLEASE TELL US YOUR AGE AS YOUR HAIR LOOKS SO DARK, I CANNOT SEE ANY GREY HAIR AND THAT IS IMPRESSIVE CAUSE WE ALL WANT OUR NATURAL COLOR HAIR BACK...people pay lots of money to color their hair. They could be getting their body healthy and getting their natural color hair back. I know I want my natural color back.

    so why not just eat the raw seeds instead of stressing about oxygenation and juicing. Remember our forefathers have been eating these fruits before civilisation and they lived long and disease free back in those days, that is why I dont watch all these sales videos. sooner or later someone will tell us to cook em up to 120 degrees in a special pot before eating, its all sales gimmick folks

    I want to subscribe to this channel but you are way too chatty and repeat the same point in a different way. The viewer doesn't need a class on the nutritional value of the fruit, just how to juice the fruit. I am sure that the viewer has viewed a video on the nutritional value of the fruit. A 20 minute video could have been reduced to 10 minutes or less. Reduce the chatter.
