Three cheers for jicama! I like it with a little carrot, half a grapefruit, a bit of ginger, and a small sprig of thyme! And the pulp goes really nicely into my scrambled eggs. I'm content with two cups of celery per day. But if I run into a less juicy stalk, which does happen, I'll try adding some jicama! Great tip!
Do u not have to cut the celery as small with this juicer as you recommended with the omega VSJ (1/8”). Will this one not clog with the strands as easily? Thanks for your help!!

In Australia, I get at least 48 ounces / 1.5 L of CJ from two celery stalks with the Omega MM900 HDS, and will often get more. For 5 stalks that equates to at least 120 ounces / 3.75 L. That's quite a lot more than 24 + 24 + 24 + 16 = 88 ounces = 2.5 L. Maybe your stalks were smaller or lower quality. Granted, it can save time compared to the MM900. You also need to spend extra time chopping up the celery, using a vacuum pump, squeezing out the pulp (but you still won't get as much compared to the MM900). And it seems like you will spend more on celery. Adding lemon juice is not recommended by Anthony William. Storing it for longer than 24 h is also not recommended-even with a vacuum pump, and drinking it straight after juicing is best. I'm not sold on the Nama J2. Once Tesla mass produces Optimus robots I can get one and get it to do juicing, house cleaning, food prep, etc.
Very new to the channel (this week), but have watched several video and subscribed. You provide excellent video content and i enjoy your enthusiasm. And i just purchased the Nama J2 with your discount code. Thank you.
I totally agree with you. The REVO830 is a good machine, if you want to sit there and drop things into it. That being said the J2 just makes things easier.
Like the Nama J2, however, got the Kuving Revo 830, its similar priced because of Black Friday & cyber monday sales and has MUCH better warranty. 15 years on parts and motor. Does great juicing on veg/fruits etc., Made in S. Korea. Beautiful design, easy to work with and clean, used your link earlier to order a Kuvings REVO 830, Thank you John!
True that. While the Nama J2 does have a 15 yr motor warranty, the parts warranty is only 2 years, although I have a commitment from the owner of Nama that they will take care of people after 2 years (but I do not know for how much longer). That being said, the Nama J2 is a very dependable machine and was designed & engineered with care. I expect few (if any) things to break on it. In the long run.
Smh omg! I just did it, I just purchased the Nama J2 (black) juicer. I've been watching your video's lately/recently and wow man you are something else. Like you really do be so happy about juicing. Like you're the "Juicer Man" and with your talking, and talking you set me up for this juicer. Like I've been brainwashed to believe this is it. Like even with me seeing other less expensive juicer my head was stuck on this juicer because of your video reviews. Smh 2023 I swear I better be sexy/healthy for real. LOL. All that rambling to say THANKS!!!!!! Umm and I've been waiting eagerly till this specific day because I'm like praying/hoping that the price would drop more. I guess this is the cheapest it'll be and like I took the leap with the handy dandy credit card. Just know tax still sucks. Thanks, have a wonderful day. 😊 ....oh wait sorry and I'm now subscribed to your channel. Ok bye. 👋🏾
Hello i love your channel In your opinion what is the better juicer, Sana 727 or the Nama j2 when it comes to wheat grass , fruit and cabbage? And easy to clean:)
Depends on your criteria. 727 is easier to clean by more than half the time. the 727 will better juice wheatgrass and cabbage, but the J2 will better juice fruit. please watch my detailed comparison at ua-cam.com/video/9ArS3oVbut4/v-deo.html so you can better understand the differences
thankyouthankyouthankyou! I used your code. I have been waiting for this moment since i discovered this juicer a year ago! I came across your video after Black Friday last year. I was bummed that I could not get it at a cheaper price! So I waited a whole year lol My dad will be a happy man come Christmas day!
The MM1500 is a horizontal juicer. The Nama J2 is a vertical juicer. I have not compared the MM1500 and the Nama J2 in a video. That being said, each machine has its own pros and cons. The MM1500 takes longer to use, as you must push each piece of celery into the juicer. Although the cleaning is easier than the Nama. The nama j2 will save you time, since you can load the hopper with precut celery and WALK away and let the machine do the work for you. Come back and you can have 24-32 ounces of juice made, then you can use the "self-cleaning" feature of the Nama J2 and it will do most of the cleaning for you. The MM1500 you will need to manually clean it and there is no auto-cleaning. Furthermore based on feedback, Nama has better USA based customer service, while Omega has outsourced their customer service to the Philippines. the Nama J2 will more easily juice fruits while the MM1500 is likely to back up when juicing fruits.
I have a chronic illness and am torn between the green star and nama. Which would you recommend? I’ve watched your videos but don’t know which way to go.
Bought it with your coupon code! Thanks . I bought the Hazel one but it’s very hard to put together and I don’t want to cut up everything . So excited! 🎉
John's the best. I've purchased 3 or 4 blenders from John at discount juicers. I absolutely love my Tribest DynaPro for its vacuum ability and very low wasted pulp. I'm needing an excuse to buy the Nama J2. Other than ease of use is there any other reason I should pick up a Nama J2?
It's just easy for when you don't want to go thru the process to vaccum blender and then strain to juice, which is a superior juice with highest yield.
I will have one for sure. The issue I have with the H310 is that it is small and to me, "travel sized", its not a full size juicer and it has a short 15 minute run time.
@@discountjuicers Thanks! I got it for a juice fix without all the hassle and to carry with me when i travel. I believe this may be a great solution for that. It maybe also a great option for those that make only a glass or two at a time. Thanks for the reply!
Vacuum sealing is NOT necessary. If you do not vacuum seal, the juice will oxidize more and go bad faster. The vacuum kit is $20 and I recommend it for people that want to store their juice even a day. It does make a HUGE difference. That being said. most people store their juices without vacuum and still think its fine, but I share only the BEST tips to maximize the nutrition in your juice, which will help get you more benefits from the juice, IMO
I see lots of codes in the comments. I want to order one; which code should I use? Thanks, I’ve been watching you for years & I’d like to help you out!
The best code available now is CELERY10 so you will save $55 off the price of the Nama J2 Juicer at www.namawell.com When you use the code, Nama will share a small commission with me so I can continue my work.
From my limited testing and from manufacturer data, I would say it is comparable to the Vitamix. I will make a video comparing the C2 blender to the Vitamix in a future episode.
Yay! Just your code to purchase the J2 using your coupon code. Even with the huge delivery cost of $89, it still looks like it was cheaper to buy using your code. Not sure how much custom charges will be yikes and happy they had option for the UK plug 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for all that you do! Just ordered the J2 with DJ80. Juice on!🥕🤟🤳🫀🧠🍍🍇🥬🥒🍉 Been buying Juice from Pittsburgh Juice Co. and The Juicery in Oakmont. Now I know that this is where I need to be. Can't wait till it gets here!
ordered mine last night with the code, if you link to a good (not necessarily cheap) electric vacuum pump for the Mason jars that would be amazing, I think buying a j2 to then manually vacuum pump defeats the purpose of the whole time saving aspect
I just found this on black friday myself and ordered one: www.amazon.com/Electric-SEANCHEER-Regular-Fermentation-Required/dp/B0B31DMTTM that being said, I recommend MANUAL pumps if you are "hardcore". In general the electric pumps I have tested only pull about 10 inches or mercury (weak). The hand pump I recommend pulls 20+ (double) what electric pull. The result is MORE dissolved oxygen is removed from the juice, so the juice LASTS longer and keeps higher levels of antioxidant nutrients intact. That being said, and electric pump is better than not putting a vacuum on your juice if you will drink it later.
I am noticing the color of the celery. It get a little less green and a bit brownish with each additional jar...right? oxygenated with each jar, I think
Your belief is also my belief. When juicing enzymes are released and as you juice more, there is more enzymatic action that causes the browning in my opinion. You can minimize this by adding some lemon or immediately vacuum sealing the juices right after they come out of the blender to pull out the excess oxygen that will significantly slow down enzyme reactions.
While that can work, there may be one time it doesnt. This is why I recommend precutting, as it will ensure a higher percentage of success and working without any issues.
My celery pulp gets stuck in the juicer and the celery gets heated because the juicer is working so hard to press it through. I have to stop several times to clean the juice strainer to be able to finish juicing. Anyone who has this problem or knows the solution to it? I use fresh celery and I've tried to cut it in bigger and smaller sizes but it's the same results.
Agreed! I love my Sana 727! Just made a green juice with cucumber, romaine, big bunch of carrot greens, beet greens, and a small apple. Delicious! And pulp was surprisingly dry. It's super for celery!
Celery doesn't come in heads, lettuce and cabbage do. Celery comes in BUNCHES. But hey, that juicer is IMPRESSIVE! Wow, not much pulp and a lot of juice. This could work wonders for my pineapple! I'm so tired of sloppy pulp which didn't extract half the juice, in my Breville.
Hey John ! I gotta say I really like your videos ! But honestly I’m going to be a black sheep here since I’m not impressed at all with that juicer.. I ordered mine also with a 80$ discount but I had to pay more than 100$ in shipping fees because I’m in Canada. When it arrived, it was leaking and stopped working after my second try. So it’s sitting on the counter and I don’t know what to do with it .. I don’t even want to try to send it back because I know it’ll be expensive. Still ! Your videos are amazing and keep up the good work ❤️❤️❤️
I am saddened about your experience with the NAma J2. It surprises me, as I rarely hear of customers with the Nama J2 that have any challenges such as this. I would love to learn more about the specifics of the two situations you had. 1) where did it leak from? What was leaking? What were you juicing? 2) what were you juicing when it stopped working? how did it stop working? what happens now when you turn it on when it is assembled correctly? If your machine is not working properly, I am confident Namawell will take care of you if they are made aware of your challenges. They have taken care of all my customers to date.
Yes you will need to pay shipping cost, but if you don’t you will have waisted a lot of money. They probably stand behind their products and could send you another one.
Each machine has its own set of pros and cons. My video where I compare the J2 to the REVO830 is at ua-cam.com/video/LMx-kaZ1dyI/v-deo.html So people can decide which machine would be better. I personally, prefer the Nama J2 over the REVO830. Reasons: 1. I can load it up and walk away, 2. Puts less pulp in the juice and 3. the Screen is easier to clean by far.
I did wash this celery and chopped off the top and bottom of the celery before I made this video. Furthermore, Costco and many store sells triple washed celery, so that can save you some prep time if you dont want to wash your celery.

You DID NOT wash nor mention washing your celery😱🤮
I did wash this celery and chopped off the top and bottom of the celery before I made this video. Furthermore, Costco and many store sells triple washed celery, so that can save you some prep time if you dont want to wash your celery.
This video was too little too late, I just ordered using EASY10 but just got $55 OFF, I may have to contact them to get the extra $25 OFF! Sigh...
