One very important thing everyone should know about the reviews, is that not all reviews are authentic. Some are paid reviews, companies pay them for 5 star reviews on the products.
They tried to crack down on it but I think too much of it is or was fake. Beware of the reviews.
That's why i read the 1 star reviews. You can see if it's dumb boomers or legit complaints LMAO
There is actually some website that runs an algorithm to filter what they think are fake reviews. I just get too lazy to use it.
@@traviousandrews1015 The 1-star reviews can be just as fake. If you are the seller of a competing product it's pretty easy to dis the competition. The question answers are often suspect too.

Just go aliexpress if you dont need the item for a month. Much cheaper. 90% of everything on Amazon is dropshipped from China

taobao is way cheaper and faster, but you have to know what your doing.

Amazon’s only advantage was no sales tax. I will go with Walmart eBay and Amazon to find the best deal. 2/3 of the time amazon is more expensive.

@@traviousandrews1015 Walmart has a lot of sellers ship for free with no Minimum. Walmart itself ship free for 35 min. eBay has a lot of sellers ship for free. Just put app on your phone to get the best deal for you. Amazon no longer the best most of the time.
but do you factor in the cost of your TIME wasted going to Walmart,plus gas used to get there plus item being out of stock? I go Amazon every time
@@grzeniak Walmart online shopping they have most of the stuff of their own. Shipping is free over 35$. Amazon is selling mostly third party with price fluctuating all the time.

@9:51 that's because these Chinese nationals have direct contact with the manufacturer and can easily beat all the American/foreign sellers; Western dollars end up flowing into China because these Chinese nationals are able to directly contact the factory where it's made. These Chinese nationals dominate Amazon marketplace.
A lot (over 70% market share) of small kitchen appliances are made by a single mega factory in China.

Read the reviews- lately Amazon has not been catching a scam that’s going on where reviews for the wrong products are inserted or attached. For example you might see reviews for beef sticks are attached to a dog whistle product. Seriously. You have to actually read the reviews.
