or they're tired of being jerked around by people who aren't working long enough - it takes time and effort to orient a person to a job and if they get up and quit after a few shifts, they wasted their time.
The real reason is unknown and wont be known.

The Prepper Princess is a millionaire, quit her job, but decided to go back as she was bored. She applies every year at Costco as benefits are decent and their employees are happy.
Save these low skill jobs for people who really need it. Being "retired", you really don't need it.
They have a shortage of workers, hence the bonuses.
If you really want to stay in the same industry for that kind of interest piece, UPS, FedEx, and USPS are also probably hiring.

I couldn’t even finish watching this. You didn’t get the job because you quit after one week. You should have told them you were sick. And now you want the job back because they are offering 1k. I wouldn’t hire you either.
I believe they keep your name on file and one of the notations is whether the employee is eligible for rehire. If he quit after one week then he is probably not eligible for rehire. Looks like they dodged a bullet because he was only going to stay on until he could collect the full bonus. Then he was going to quit again.
That's just one of the possible causes.
@@BeatTheBush Quite frankly, most of the others you mentioned are bordering on conspiratorial thinking. Just because there are infinite possible causes does not mean that all causes are equally likely. Your previous work history with them that they keep on file is almost certainly the cause. We can think of other causes. Maybe the person in charge of the hiring dated your ex and has a grudge against you. Maybe Jeff Bezos personally reviews all applicants and he is also an avid watcher of your youtube channel. These are a couple "possible causes" right? Do you see how one cause (your previous work history with the very same company) is extremely likely and the others you have to go to outer space in order to consider them possibilities?

I applied 3 times for software roles, never got any response back. I even applied for the warehouse one too, heard nothing back. My friend who doesn't even have a GED got the warehouse job in less than a week.
what does it say when you check the application status on their online portal?

@@MarsTheProgrammer you might need to work on your resume. Usually you could apply as a dog and they'd still send you an online assessment to complete
@@MeLawenity i went and paid for 3 difference resume services, and help from a HR person from google. Didn't help at all.
Sounds like you wanted to churn the signing bonus and amazon said forget it. Then again, you did quit after 16 hours the first time out, so why would they want you back?

It is most likely your prior history with them. A lot of people get kicked out of Amazon jobs and try to get rehired. I bet quitting after a few shifts is a big red flag for them.
No one will every know out of the three possibilities.

Why would you want to work at Amazon anyway? Go for ups, or FedEx, where you are secure if you hurt your back or pull something.

I probably cannot make videos during the job or even use video I recorded during the job.
I absolutely love training new hires only for them to quit before they produce anything of value...not.
A video about BTB working at Amazon could pursuade some to sign up or dissuade others from applying if they realize it is not for them.
Some have commented that they started a warehouse job after I posted my first video on this.
I'm pretty sure Amazon found out about your UA-cam channel. They could have done a social media search on you and found your channel. You're rich! Why would you lower yourself to work in a slave environment like Amazon?

I appreciate you sharing! Your “fatherly” advice is needed for some! Honestly I know I didn’t know this info in my 20s and would be crushed when I didn’t get the job. Understanding the reasons of denial helps keep emotions in check. I agree with you trying different types of employment. My goal has always been to learn new things and then move on in my jobs. I hate car dealerships and would love to work there to gain their secrets…. But I hate them too much LOL I look at jobs as adventures. I’m excited to follow you and learn from you!! Your assumption that most people don't last more than 3 weeks...well not many people has the leisure to just leave--have to put food on the table.
Usually rehires don't get re-tested for drugs. I'm betting it was the UA-cam channel.

Do what you like and it can teach you real life skills like cooking cleaning whatever cause it forces you to do it and gives you an incentive to persevere and learn

The real reason is they can’t get help because they won’t hire anyone. They are begging for help all over the place but no employer wants to hire you.

As someone who works in HR, I can vouch that companies DO indeed have applicant tracking systems in which they can designate a person as “not eligible for rehire” if they’ve previously had certain infractions that would deem them so. Quitting a job without providing sufficient notice (especially after such a short time working for them) is absolutely a reason not to be eligible for rehire, so I wouldn’t necessarily assume this is as a result of some third party intentionally trying to sabotage you. But yes, I also agree with you… keep a poker face about your future plans and intentions, until they are confirmed or the deal is sealed, especially in your case where you are somewhat of a public figure. You never know who has ill intentions against you, so only discuss such things in hindsight rather than giving advance specifics of your future plans! 👍🏼🤗

I agree with you at 9:00 , this one time I was trying to write a book and I told lots my friends about my plans. And every other day, they kept asking me "Sup bro, so hows the book?" Eventually they stopped asking me but in the process, my mental health took a hit because it was very annoying to tell them all that I was still working on it. Sadly I never finished the book. Nowadays, I don't ever say anything about what my projects are because I would not want annoying people to ask me every day how my plans are going.

They’re doing a $3,000 bonus rn. I actually liked working there. I would only work on equipment work though not on foot. It’s too much work when you’re on foot tbh.

Overqualified - Next! You're an influencer: You can't be ratting out big companies for shady practices. "Use and abuse" that's been their bread and butter, the back bone of the Fortune 500 since forever. But seriously, your paygrade level is too high for this kind of work. They don't want you wasting your time with grunt work that others less fortunate would consider their livelihood to be able put a roof over their head and to feed their family.

I think the guy told you that at your second drug test because most of the time people take the second drug test is because the first one failed because of the suspected drugs in your system.

Also keep in mind that along with your background check companies also usually run a a financial / credit check and some employers are starting to avoid hiring people who don't fit the "profile" for their workers. It's entirely possible that they have some idea of the fact you're well to do / well off and look at you as a "bad hire" (meaning too much risk) they know you're likely not going to stay there that long because you don't "need" the money.
More likely is that your previous employment with Amazon meant that you were a "no re-hire" - while they probably won't tell you that that's what I believe it is.

I think its a good rule to live by. Otherwise there's no way to know who did what and suspecting everyone is not a good way to live.

Lol this video reminded me of applying for a Amazon job in China. I spoke with their boss on my final stage of interview. I didn't get the job in the end. I think I might have convinced him too much that I was capable for the job. I didn't get hired because I was too fit..

I did the same kind of thing I worked for like 6 weeks around Christmas picked up 60 hours and the second week of that I just couldn't do it and didn't even try. A year and a half later I worked 1 year part time then did 13 weeks full time (50hrs) then I was able to get 2 months leave of absence then was able to join flex shifts 20hrs per month to 30hrs per week then did that for about 8 months then I had problems when applying next time I got 2 different day 1s and it wouldn't let me schedule it until I called them then when I went to check the time it disappeared but went anyway and talked to them in person and still got it even after it was only 6 months not the full year later
