My tech worked on a barn find 60’s AC-30, did a lot of work to it and I got to crank it and play it! Blew my mind! It sold before I could make a offer! Went on safari and ended up finding a 93 which is mostly leftover Rose Morris parts but Korg built!! My tech said he would’ve chosen 93 over vintage even from quality and stability point of view!! All I needed to hear!! Love your content!! ✌🏽❤️
I hear a difference for sure. The TBX sounds a little more interesting. Maybe it's the speakers. I hope to hear some of the older vox amps in person. Until then, videos like this are my go-to.
They’re both great amps but there’s something really cool about the TBX. I highly recommend trying to find someone that has one and taking it for a spin 🤘
The TBX is warm and and well balanced between lows and highs. Sounds very mix-ready. In comparison, the C2 sounds much brighter and the highs a bit shrill/brittle.

Oh very cool man! I’ve played a couple 60’s Vox’s and there really isn’t anything like it.

I agree! The 6TBX is very mix ready indeed, the C2 just requires a little more work in mixing but it’s def capable of similar results.
