I freaking LOVE those teles Tommy has, and I am not a tele guy. I don't even own one. But that double bound blue with the dark rosewood board and then the purple with the gold is epic looking! Great, now I have to find a double bound blue or purple tele! Seriously, I'm not even joking.
Absolute great job.....fun to watch. The guitars and the backgrounds of them was a blast along with the amps and what is played when. Thanks for sharing. Myself and our dogs were hooked....even my wife would hang out for some of it. Great to see you in New Bedford.....and again thanks for sharing and always having time to say hello.
I don't know much about guitars but I do love watching your videos. See u guys this saturday at the keswick theater. If you remember, could u give me a shot out, I will be sitting a few rows from the stage. It would be nice to meet u and if u can't no problem. Thank you and GTLO for your hard work and great music.
Found you on IG and now subbed! Dig your fashion sense, very Page like! He was the quintessential rock star imho as a young kid checking out those cool pics in rock magazines! Loved rig rundown! We have similar tastes! Own a 78 JMP 50 watt, 93 AC-30 and owned many acoustics over the years despite being more of a electric/ band guy, but 04 Hummingbird at GC rocked my world! Sold two killer guitars to grab it and no regrets!! ✌🏽❤️
Wow..that Standard V2...it's stupid how incredible that guitar looks lol To me, the damn near perfect flame top. Awesome video through and through. Your gear is killer!!
Thanks for sharing Tommy! This was very cool. Axes aside, I was most interested with your amps. You seem to nail JP's tone on so much of your set-list. Can't wait for your return to MN!
ah man thanks Tommy taking time to do a rig rundown loved it ! answers lot of questions especially amps how your running them for different tones you need , dude those 60th Anniversary custom shops are killer finally found a lefty few yrs ago , took a while for the red dye on the neck binding to fade lol no biggie quick question on song houses of holy what the hell is that , is a ring modulator or out of phase pickup its puzzled me forever ? killer tones Tommy loved my 78 jmp sold it like a dumbass several yrs ago lol keep rocking !!!!!!!!
@@TommyZamp yes it really is you pay 5 0r 6 grand for a guitar and that happens kinda pisses you off , not to mention not long after bought it brand new the freaking pots started getting noisy cutting in and out when rolling volume up down not good especially live lol i know its an historic model with vintage features but you would think the custom shop would take a little more care getting all bugs worked out for what they charge i have an 00L small body acoustic gibson custom shop ah they actually got it right i guess its hit and miss there not all equal you have a beautiful sounding Humming bird and J 45 sounds great too but that Humming bird has unusually good tone !!!!
Awesome Bro.I was curious about the signal chain and how you have the Fractal wired in. I use a similar set up and love using my Marshall and orange heads together, also the effects in the rack in the bottom,I think I saw a tremolo etc,how are they wired in, I use an Hx stomp xl for my effects and also have a few pedals. . Thanx for doin this I subscribed,. stay safe out there.
Thanks for the sub! I’m running the fractal via the FX Loop on the Radial JX44. The newer axe fx has more external routing options which if and when I get that I’ll give an update. As for the boss tremolo pedal that’s used on the bass when needed like for Heartbreaker. The bottom half of that rack mount just has my acoustic wireless. The rest is bass and front of house connections.
Any idea of when you might be able to pull soundboard audio so we can get a clear on Paul’s vocals and how the whole band sounds without the crowd noise??
Cool rundown but I don't get it... What do the other two guitar players do? Why aren't you set up stage left where Jimmy would be if you're playing all his parts; seems like the Feng shut is all messed up. (Cool amp choices though I must say... pretty much what I would use if I had the gig).
You make a good point and I should have been more clear. I only went over the parts that I play but there’s tons of songs where I only play the rhythm parts and Hammond or Eddie are taking the leads. Hammond does the solos in Since I’ve been loving you, Good Time Bad Times etc. Eddie takes the lead in Black Dog and Royal Orleans and others. Thanks!
Absolutely LOVED this! Let me relive the whole experience!!
Awesome I love that!

That’s awesome thank you! You should def get a tele. Killer guitars!
Really good rig rundown with all the examples, well done!
Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I know I’m biased but I have to agree about the flame top too. It’s even better looking in person!
That was a very interesting video about all your guitars! Thanks!

I’ve got the binding bleed as well. Kind of ridiculous considering how much those guitars are.

I’ll see what I can do. I can’t give a time frame but I’ll definitely try and make it work
@@TommyZamp I would love that! I look forward to seeing you again at Indian Ranch!!
Any chance your bass player can give us a rundown?
Top wrap the LP’s… huh… Great rundown dude… Y’all sound great…
Much appreciated!
Ha, I remember when you got that Dano twelve string! (Although my memory is hazy for some reason...)
It’s the copious amounts beer and rock and roll!!! That was a really fun night
This is a great video! Cool stories, fun to know!

Say you guys live, you are great!
