Patents can be incredibly valuable for your business. There are a lot of "invention experts" and UA-cam "explainer-heads" on the Internet who will tell you all the reasons why you should not get a patent, and that patents are a total waste of money. But in this video, I give you five reasons why patents just might be for you.

Thank you, Daniel. So great of you to comment. Can you share the general technology area of your inventions (don't disclose any secrets 😊)?

John, I thank that you are giving reasons for filling patents We are at WEB 3.0 were BLOCK CHAIN is said to serve the functions of I P , I would like you to look at the blockchain revolution and patents, and comment about this

@russell4527 Thank you for you comment. I think we are approaching a world where a blockchain can safely record ownership of property, ie land deeds, paintings, song lyrics, etc., but the problem is that presently anyone can record a blockchain entry. So (by definition) there is currently no central system of proof of origination of the work (we see this with rampant copyright violations in minted NFTs) or any mechanism in a decentralized world to enforce infringement.
Patents are a government grant of a monopoly to exclude others from using your invention. With that grant comes a mechanism (albeit not free) in which the government will enforce your rights in that patent.
Do you have in mind a new system in which Web 3 can eliminate conventional IP protections? 'Would love to have you share here.
      Warmest wishes, -john

on a superficial level the excitement of decentralized web has us thinking we are breaking out of institutions like the patents office, oblivious to the fact that blockchain is a database and patents are Law. Block chain will aid the system as far as records are concerned but WE agree that it won’t become the law which patents are😊😂😊
