The omission of any moisture barrier between your foundation beams and the cement and eyeballing drill holes through incredibly expensive wood and then loosely fitting it over the rods really put me on edge. Cement and metal conduct both moisture and temperature and wood disintegrates 10x faster without the barrier, even treated lumber that's drilled does so. It's a nice structure but it's lifespan would easily be doubled with some pretty cheap and basic modern builder insights.

IMO a great video of how not to build a cabin by the sea. No structural integrity thoughts whatsoever and no measures to prevent wood degradation in a high moisture environment! Prefaced as skilled builder lol.
great job on the video, it’s impressive to see the process laid out so clearly! but honestly, I’m a bit skeptical about the long-term durability of cabins built that fast. I mean, can they really hold up against storms and harsh weather? just curious what others think!

Looks good, but no roofer would install trusses without cutting in 'bird mouths' to sit on the wall plate or ridge beam, needs this for structural integrity.
No metal or wire cross bracing and no metal strip roof (hurricane) tie downs. The first real wind storm is going to tear off the roof, which is sure to come given the entire video is filmed with steady wind noise.
