This was an awesome format for this review. I really enjoyed it and I liked that it was easy to follow, not a "YOU NEED THIS" or "YOU'RE MESSING UP IF YOU GET THIS!!" type of video. Balanced, informative, and enjoyable to watch. Subscribed :D
Me and my friends bought these after we saw Max use it! It’s so fun to use! I don’t care about the precision of the photo, just want to capture moments without pulling out my phone. The only other camera I found without a screen is paper shoot, but it was slightly more expensive
It's been my go to camera I just carry around in my car. It has great battery especially when I forget to charge my actual cameras. It's always ready and just fun to shoot. It's not amazing quality but it does save the memories.
This was a very good video, thanks for making it - Subscribed!I just bought one for my wife's birthday after watching. Keep up the good work on YT and good luck on your journey to monetization - that is when the fun begins.
For how shitty the quality is, it's still one of my favorite cameras because of how grainy and charming the photos can be. Also another banger! Great video, I love these reviews!
@@AidanTheCross I got an instax printer, also a scanner, printer & a darkroom for real prints. Been printing my images for over 25 years. The image/ print quality of Campsnap is unfortunatley useless
I ordered one for myself and my daughter. Figure we’ll use them on walks, visiting new places, etc. I have serious cameras as well but, too often I end up more absorbed into the practice of photo taking rather than taking in an experience. Even with dedicated Ricoh or Canon cameras.
@@JerichoPatrick same! I’m a late 80s kid. So I had a Mickey Mouse 110 camera. That I was never given new film for lol. So other than the rare disposable my pictures were basically left to the imagination
Good review. I'm thinking of getting this for my son as his first camera, for his 8th birthday. Suggestion: there were a couple times you said "I'm not sure, I haven't tested that yet," and it seems like you might be able to test those things out before hitting record, just so you can say you tested it.
I'm from the Netherlands and I've order it for 87 euro 😊 I hope it's worthy enough for my Street Photography and vacations to get the Retro style photo's!
this camera seems like a good camera for people who want to take liminal space pictures like on the liminal space subreddit. The quality seems cheap and grainy which would be perfect because most people think that you need a 14 year old camera to get the same nostalgic and liminal quality. I wonder if someone will eventually get one and try to take liminal pictures. Great video.
Would love for the quality to be a bit better MP wise, but I am excited to take it on adventures where I don’t want to spend all my time trying to get that perfect shot, but rather capture memories. Also for adventures where I am worried taking my expensive point and shoot. I get too reckless with my nice cameras 😂
I just found this video out of curiosity 😅 but honestly great video and only reason is why I’m planning on getting this camera is I’m a beginner photographer and I’m still learning also I do car photography and a lot of car enthusiast love the 90s grainy look but I’m gonna take everything in this video as a notes and great job in explaining 😊
Oh my gosh thank you so much! Let me know if you have any ideas for videos that could help you with your photography learning journey! Always looking for ways to help
@@JerichoPatrick I just ordered one. If nothing else, I’d be curious to see if theres enough free space somewhere inside it to hide an AirTag for easy Lost and Find.
oh no, check cables and ports and if that doesn't work try softwhere updates and if that doesn't work reach out to the Snap camp people and let me know what they say. sorry that happen to you
Yeah the look would definitely be good for those but with baseball I would be worried about the motion getting warped or missing the action with the delay on the shutter
I hope that this doesn't come across as hate, because I actually like this video overall. But, just some feedback as "a viewer" - I don't know which camera you recorded with, but I assume that it has a flip around screen because it was very distracting watching your eyes look off to the left (your right) repeatedly.
Generally agreed. But: USB-C, Digital, good battery. You’re basically paying for the modern adaptability. They definitely could lower the price but the market they are hitting are people who aren’t looking for ancient cameras but want that aesthetic
Bought it for nostalgia. I remember the time when we just took moments and did not retake pictures just because somebody "looks fat", then would wait until the whole film is consumed and go to the printing shop to develop the films. We would be surprised about how wacky or nice the results would be.
I think they've done amazing marketing it as a hip camera to people looking to be different from every other iPhone-tographer...no different than the old point and shoot renaissance we've seen over the past few years thanks to Tik Tok. The only reason I'd ever get one is to take it on my bike rides where I don't have my camera and may have an action camera mounted to something..if this thing falls, no biggy.

The biggest problem is that they are unprintable. The worst camera I've owned

Get an instax 40 if you want printable, same principle.

For me, it seems like a great option because I really don’t like to use my phone for photos.
Thanks for the info
So true! That’s probably the best feature for this one
Well, your phone will take much better photos. I guess if you want to have bad photos this would be ok.
Damn that was some well produced shit about the camera I just bought.
I’m more excited about getting it now. Thanks! I love you 😘

Im thinking of giving one of these to my friend because she wants to get into photography
That’s awesome!
Is the grainy look one of the filters that they offer or did you photograph of the standard mode?
I used the “retro” filter but the grain quality might also just be in the “unfiltered” photos

I charged them once, been using them for a few weeks and I have yet to need to charge them again

Remember when all we wanted was to IMMEDIATELY post it?
How do you access the SD card? I unscrewed the part it says to in the instructions but nothing opens
Hey just wondering what would be a better option for the same type of camera !
I think the best option is almost always used cameras. look for a good point in shoot, maybe search on reddit for recommendations.
What is a good recommendation for something like this that won’t break the bank?
My Hasselblad 907x/CFV II 50c combo takes photos. Better photos? It's subjective.
True. also huge flex
I used once, then I went to the church and a light told me to go to film photography

For 65.00 you are better off buying a older digital camera from a good manufacturer. There are many to choose from on eBay.
