    I just bought the Camp Snap, and it should arrive in 2 weeks. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it a lot, and if I like it, I might consider getting three in different colors and pairing each color with a filter. For example, the all-black one with the black-and-white filter, the red one (which I just bought) with normal colors, and the yellow one with the vintage filter. I've looked at hundreds of photos taken with the Camp Snap on Flickr, and I find it quite fascinating. I don't know what to say, but with such outdated technology, they found a way to make a business out of it. Brilliant!

      @@carlosandri2197 sounds like a cool little system. Definitely would be easier than having to update the filters each time you want to switch. They’ve really hit that nostalgic niche market.

    I was an early adopter of this camera and I like it very much just for spontaneous lomo looking pictures. I still have to try the black and white filter. I consider this to be a “toy” camera, similar to other toy cameras I’ve owned. I just ordered the 2nd generation of this camera that promises higher quality photos, less shutter lag, and a way to put the date in the metadata. It also has a ring for a lanyard-which was really needed, I’m a big bummed that they just don’t include the camera strap considering how cheap they are, but I was really missing one when I wanted to use my camera frequently so I don’t have to put it in my bag all the time. If you get the new model I’d like to see you review it.

      @@thomassantomartino7337 YEAH, I recently saw the ads for the new version of the camera. All things seem to be good improvements. Not sure when I’ll get my hands on one, but when I do I’ll definitely make a video on it.

    do you mind elaborating on how you use your iphone to view the pictures as opposed to the computer? is there a special adapter?

    • @ZacSopak
      @ZacSopak  4 місяці тому +1

      Sure 👍🏻 since my iPhone 15 and the camera are usb-c I use a standard usb-c cable to connect the two. When you turn the camera on the phone will automatically recognize it and then you can import and delete photos off of the camera. The same should be true for iPhones that are lightning. He would just need a USB-C to lightning connection.

    Nice video! I have been doing film photography since two years. I have currently two film cameras, Canon AE-1 and Olympus OM-1. They’re both fully analog mechanical tho but they do use a battery for the lightmeter. As a matter of fact, the canon AE-1 only works with battery.

    The version 103 dropped recently and it has a faster shutter, flash, newer back display, and slightly better sensor. I snagged one of these when the 103 dropped and have since uploaded the vintage filter, so amazing! Easily the best money I’ve spent on a camera considering the cost-quality ratio. I know some people complain about quality but that’s not really the purpose of this.

    Incredible, shame the seller doesn't ship to Brazil. I'm going to try a form of redirection, because everything you said is real. Taking photos to immortalize the moment and not thinking about which lens to choose or whether the photo turned out good or not, is a box of surprises to see at the end only when you connect it to the computer. Question, battery time? And approximately how many photos?

    Great video! Highly contemplating getting this with how high film prices are. Just a bit confused, how does the 2000 photo limit work when the counter is only three digits? And once that 2000 is reached (though im sure it'll take a long time) is there anyway to reset?

    • @ZacSopak
