The Local Group are the only galaxies that will stay with us forever. Their combined gravity is stronger than the push of the universe's expansion. Proxima orbits Alpha and Beta and they both have their own collective sub regions of control.

As of now, we do not know the exact size of our galaxy with estimation range from 90k up to 200k light years (as published in a paper back in 2018 suggest, there are stars at a distance of more than 26 kpc from the center of the Milky Way). 26 kps as a radius would imply the Milky Way having a diameter of at least 170k light years. The paper even said there were stars found at 31 kpc or 101k light years from its center.
