Your astronomy videos are the best. Both awe inspiring and educational. I love that you know the topic and there is no gibberish. Everything is just perfectly done.
Yet another masterpiece from SEA. The chill atmosphere in on this channel makes me sleepy and it calms me down as well, because- well, it's SPACE! It may be one of the *harshest* environments to be, but it's still so pretty and calming to look at. Nothing bad will happen to us on a Universal Scale for billions of years, so it's nice every once in a while to sit back, and just watch the stars do their thing. And if one happens to explode, so be it. That just means that more stars and possibly planets will form from that gas cloud. Great video, lad. Loved every second of it.

I love your channel so much SEA. You help me unwind and sleep most evenings. Space has always been fascinating to me and your channel is a way to enjoy my interest in a perfectly calming way. My BF was skeptical of playing a UA-cam video at first, but he has asked me if I’m going to play a SEA video when we’re settling in to sleep.
I basically watch through each of your videos twice. Once with my full attention because they're always really interesting, and the second time as I fall asleep because they're very soothing and relaxing lol.
I think it's good that you make these videos for the general public. All of these blackholes, galaxies, stars and the like are unfathomly large, and so far away, it still baffles me we can discover things and tease out our galaxy's collisions long before our time, and another collision after our time. I have no words other than epic, fascinating, or mesmerizing.
I'm glad you published this video. I'm writing a symphony inspired by the enormity of the universe, and the history of the Milky Way is a big part of it.
Your ability to talking about facts that are utterly mind blowing in a calmly manner is just a beautiful balance of I'm relaxed and panicking while I questioning my meaningless existence.
Besides everything the others have said, I really appreciate that you never break immersion by putting sponsors in these videos, even though you surely could. I hope this contribution can help a bit towards keep it that way.
Thank you very much for the generous donation 💙 Love to hear that. Yes I do keep sponsors out but I can’t take too much credit because I load the video with UA-cam ads all the same. Your content not only shows us how insignificant we are but also educates us along the way our path of knowledge as a species. May we find the answers we are looking for.
My friend and colleague completed his grad studies and defended his PhD thesis at the young age of 56. It's never late to answer your calling. Your saying that we're insignificant is too modest. No star, AFAIK, has ever studied humans or other stars to better herself and her kind. Only the reverse is happening. We are part of the Universe, and only thanks to us the Universe can observe and understand herself. This is utterly significant! And yes, it's the greatest feeling of satisfaction when you finally find an answer to the nature's riddle, or even a little piece of the puzzle; but no, I don't think we will ever run out of our questions to the Universe.
As a kid I too was besotted with the cosmos. As a family our family would go camping and with the lack of city lights I would spend hours lying on my back letting my imagination run wild. One moonless and clear night ( maybe 1970) I spotted a comet with my pristine youthful eyes. I tried on several occasions to point it out to my father but he never could see it. After returning home I continued to track this comet for a couple of months until it was announce in the newspaper that a new comet had been discovered and named after the discoverer. I felt rather aggrieved, I was sure I was the first to see it.
Appreciate you work, SEA! It is engaging the young minds out there with science. Your efforts are to the noblest end there is, one single thing that made us who we are: the curiosity about and study of the Nature's ways. 🤩Globular clusters are full of surprises! They are dense, thus tightly bound gravitationally, stable, not easy to rip apart, and also ancient. Yet it was recently discovered that they are commonly deficient in dark matter. And, beyond JWST, there are a few much more sensitive space-based, Earth-based and radio telescopes already in the pipeline, with their ever swelling deluge of raw data. Much more data than the next generation of astrophysicists could be able to process, even with the fast-growing computing power and a tad lagging behind, but still advancing AI and sim algorithms. Your videos are always well made and incredibly informative, but I think this is the first time in nearly three years of following this channel where I felt genuinely moved by the video. There's just something about seeing how those original progenitors came together to form our home, the whole of the milky way, that makes me appreciate just how fortunate we are to be here today. So many things had to go right for our galaxy to form the way it did, for our solar system to be able to form around our sun, for Earth to form in the exact right spot to support life, for us to be here watching this video now. Not to mention the fact that we are all here, now, at a time where we have the capability to study our galaxy with such astounding confidence and precision. Thanks for the video!
Ok. How many people say this video pop up on their feed and was like "Hell yeah! A new SEA video. All other activities will have to wait until after this video."?
Imagine how astonishing it would be to live on a planet on one of the orbiting clusters or drawrf galaxies and see the Milky Way light up your night sky from a top down view. Must be incredible
I love watching these videos. It makes me realize that there are so many amazing and different objects and structures that i've never heard of before. It makes me want to discover even more about the Solar system, the Milky Way, clusters, superclusters, etc.
Amazing video. Always reminds me of Calvin's quote for Hobes "If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently"
What a truly awesome presentation. The content narration and graphics are all amazing. Truly a magnificent channel. I have been hooked ro this channel for a long while now. It just keeps getting better and better. Looking forward to the next thriller episode.

Been watching your videos for years and I can't get enough. The ominous and direct style of your content is very intriguing and digestible. The animation is gold. I would love to see a video on Super Earth's or large terrestrial planets if you haven't already. I remember reading that our solar system once may have produced a super earth but that it was ejected early in its history. A long form video of yours on that topic would be epic!
Hey SEA, great video, as always! Just one tiny nitpick. Sequoia is pronounced "Sa COY ya", not "Sa KWOAH ya". But I only know this and am saying anything is because I grew up in the Sequoia National Forrest in Northern California, or else I probably wouldn't know the proper way to say it, either. Keep up the great work, I always look forward to new videos from you!

Fascinating. I had to pause and make this comment at the part where Sagittarius’ rise and fall through the galaxy following the merger was described. Where it had fallen through 3 previous times 1, 2 and 5-6 billion years ago. Like some sort of dance played out over Aeons. What a picture that painted in my mind!
Added bonus to SEA's videos: you can use them like ASMR videos to relax and go to sleep. I've watched this video every night since it was released, probably will for for a few more days, then periodically return to it, like his other videos.

I had a surgery and couldn’t calm down on my own, listening to this calmed me during the surgery, you’re my hero ❤
Another amazing story and production by sea. Thank you so much
I always look forward to your videos. Without a doubt the best. Keep up the good work.
Very soothing, and packed with information. Thank you!
Amazing video.
Always reminds me of Calvin's quote for Hobes "If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently"
What a privilege we have today to have access to such beautiful and precious information, at any time, for free
There's much more in a University near you. Hint, hint! :)
Very beautiful ✨ In swedish our galaxy’s name is Vintergatan or in translation ”the Winter street” ❤
Bird's track in Finnish.
Milk Street in German heh
Beautiful. As in the road of sparkly bits of snow? Love it.
That's a beautiful name! I like that so much more than "the Milky Way"
@@sevenstars004 I do too love it 🥰
What a truly awesome presentation. The content narration and graphics are all amazing. Truly a magnificent channel. I have been hooked ro this channel for a long while now. It just keeps getting better and better. Looking forward to the next thriller episode.
Thank you for creating such a stunning and deeply informative production.
This channel is the reason I'm studying astronomy! It really made me realise it's a topic I wanna know so much mire about than what little we learn in school
Seeing a new SEA video is posted is like Christmas morning and my birthday all at once.
Absolutely one of the best channels on all of UA-cam.
Great video. Sequoia is the name of the giant redwood trees and it's pronounced "suh-KOY-uh" ;)
Mine was the 100th like on this video...this will go down as a golden moment in the history of nothing!
And big thanks for the great content! :)
Respect to the cameraman for filming in all these dangerous places
The Cameraman is a real homie for risking his life to capture recordings of our Milky Way Galaxy.
I get unreasonably happy whenever a new video comes out. I always learn something new, and I sleep like a baby.
This guy has the best narrating voice on UA-cam, and his scripts are on point.
These are the best sesh videos. love getting my mind blown by outer space, in outer space 😉
Came here to say this too.
Same here. My one and only 'cringe moment' in an otherwise brilliant show (as are they all).
This channel is just so amazing! Everytime I have a long drive home from work, I turn on a random video from SEA and time just flies by.
Every single video is beautifly made - the music, the graphics and narration is top tier. It is the only channel that I decided to tip (and will continue to do).
I salute the entire team for all the hard work you people put in to produce such high quality educational videos basically for free.
So glad you enjoy the videos! As it happens, there is no team here. Just one guy! And I will indeed use that generous donation to get myself a coffee while I work on my next episode! Thank you so much for your incredible generosity!💙🙏
@sea_space Damn, now I'm even more impressed! Again, thank you for your hard work in spreading so much fascinating knowledge to everyone!
Your content is truly wonderful. Knowledge imparted via incredible storytelling. I love your channel, Bravo and Brava!
Loving your videos. Thanks for doing tarantula nebula. Not many guys do stuff for us southerners. Cheers mate. Keep up the awesome videos
It is mind boggling to have a glimpse of how the galaxies have been and continue evolving through the infinite of time. Beautiful video.
Your videos are genuinely the only thing that helps with my insomnia. Can't thank you enough.
Hey SEA I absolutely love what your channel has become. Your channel has evolved so much in fact i have been watching you when you were still actively uploading GD content and the fact that you are still producing top quality content to this day has been such a journey to experience. The quality is always increasing. Keep it up man
He didle children look it up
Fascinating.
Excellent video!
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for the donation 🙏💙
Good video. Small nitpick; Sequoia is pronounced "Seh-KOY-uh".
Fascinating how our galaxy came to be. I wonder what brought those progenitors to form. Truly grand in scale, makes one feel like a grain of sand.
What a phenomenal channel. Definitely in my top 5 of all time. Keep up the great content 👍
Fantastic work, as ever. Top quality content. 👍🌌
Thank you, glad you enjoy it. And thank you so much for the donation!! 💙🙏
Very glad I found this channel. Recently I've become a lot more interested in space, and learning about things I will probably never hear about in school is amazing
SEA: Posts a warning saying long video incoming.
Also SEA: Posts shortest video in over a year.
😊😊😊 I’d only give sh*t to a channel I love. Top shelf as always.
I was about to sleep and thought I was seeing things but it was actually a new video from SEA. Now, I'll watch this first before sleeping.
I am addicted to these videos. Thank you for existing.
I always listen to your videos at night when I’m about to sleep. Your videos are phenomenal. I took an Astrophysics class in University last year, so these videos are nice to listen to, knowing what I know of the nature of the universe
Absolutely amazing context!! Best this side of the Milky Way - 🌌
This is an amazing video. I've watched it many times and everytime I enjoy it even more. Bravo.
Every time I watch your videos I find myself wiishing it was possible to like mulitple times. You do such amazing work that even though I'm not scietifically minded I can follow and understand so I'm learning a lot . I really apprectiate you. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing.
Beautiful work. So much effort goes into making these masterpieces ❤
Documentary quality content.
Thank you so much for the generous donation 💙🙏 all the best
SEA has to be the most underrated channel in all of UA-cam history. 180k views in 10 days? This should be a Netflix special.
Just another incredible video💗
Another great video, well done people, greatly appreciated content, narration and visuals.
What an amazing video. SEA never fails to disappoint and this one was another classic gem! Thank you for this.
Humbling and Unfathomable. You floor me every time with this stuff.
Thank you for making this video. I learned a ton of stuff I never knew about, like all those galaxy mergers. The pictures were beautiful and I loved the music too. This was a cosmological jewel.
We've been waiting too long for more fantastic content, please keep it coming sea 👌
Once again, thank you for an absolutely fascinating video. Yours are-the-best!!! Informative, inspiring, entertaining, they’ve got it all.
Lmao "Sequwawia"? Dude, it's pronounced "Seh koy ah". Anyway, fantastic video, love them!
The evolution of this channel is beautiful. From back in the geometry dash days to these insanely high quality and amazingly produced videos, it’s a sight to see. Love the videos, I remember 6 years ago seeing some stupid geometry dash rivalry video and liking this channel from the start lol.
Exceptional thank-you once again
Driving from San Diego to Phoenix in the middle of the night while listening to Coast To Coast AM with the Milky Way on full display... every American should do it at least once in their life
I'm Scottish and I want to do it
@@johndoc9803 I remember when I first began chatting with people from MUCH smaller countries over the internet and trying to describe the sheer size of the US. If you can imagine the difference between the US and Scotland, imagine what it must have been like for someone growing up in Hong Kong or Singapore... a cross country trip for them is a cab ride, LOL. I'd love to see Scotland with my own eyes someday.
I couldn’t help but giggle every time he said “sausage”. Amazing video as always. Please never stop creating.
