- These two won my heart in season 4. And I don't know why so many people think it is regressing Steve's character to have him fall for Nancy again. They literally had a conversation about how much they've changed and how that's why things would be different now. But I digress...I loved season 4 and I hope it's not another 2 years before we see season 5. fingers crossed

This made me tear up a little?? Idc what the naysayers say, Nancy and Steve getting back together would be a beautiful way for their story to end. They’ve grown so much.

Sure. Ss 1 2 3 Nance even didn't have chemistry with both steve and John like this. But after ss4, omg , Stancy is on fire. They r true love of each other for sure, after all mistakes, distances, up and down, now they know who they really love.
The moment where Steve saying "You were there" coincides with the same lyrics of the song -- wow, I loved it
It took me by surprise, even though I know the song by heart, and just hit me right in my feelings
What I like most about Stancy together is how they are brave and protect each other, (they act like parents to their friends). We can see that Nancy always worries who her little friends get to stay with and she always appoints Steve as babysitter LOL.

I know right? There was a reason why NANCY was a big topic in the conversation of Robin and Steve in S3. Because the duffer brothers wanted to make sure she isn't forgotten yet as a hint, that Steve didn't forget her. There was also a BIG hint, that he didn't mean it, when he denied his feelings for Nancy. Because he said that, AFTER he puked everything out from the truth serum! But he was still effected by side effects, so he couldn't think clearly, like Robin noticed herself! She exactly knew that he is not over her, even though he didn't admit it. There is also a big reason, why Steve couldn't find a new girlfriend to this day. Because he is supposed to be with nancy! Because they are meant to be. Their love story was a buiilt up all along. But many people couldn't see the many little details and hints. Your first love has a special place in your heart and will always be.
This is beautiful. Lovely and tender exploration of the evolution of their relationship, and of the two characters themselves. So hoping we see more of these two in season five, and fingers crossed, a reunion. Beautiful work!

I read your discription and i agree! Honestly i don't understand these people either, who say that it ruins steves development. Like how? His development was about to become a helpful, carring guy, who learned from his mistakes to make things better. His development was never about forgetting Nancy. In fact he never stopped loving Nancy. Even in S3 when he tried to forget her by going on dates with other girls or by trying to convince himself that he doesn't have feelings for Nancy anymore. He tried, but it didn't work out, because his feelings are too strong. That's why he also risked his life for her in S3, when he crushed the car. I can't even imagine another girl for Steve, other than Nancy, because he loves her so much.
As for Nancy: It is clear that she slowly fall in love with Steves better version of himself, because of the big development he went through. This new side of him she actually liked in S2 already, when he helped the kids. But now he is fully developed to be the man, she can love.
