the song and the scenes are married perfectly together I'm speechless, such a masterpiece! they really look out of a very romantic movie don't they? 🤧💕
ohhhh wow this is reallyreallyreally lovely. the editing is so good ;; man, it still breaks my heart that they never got the chance to actually *talk* , after the party. steve ( who probably came to school still emotionally hurting, and then had billy actively shoving him around right before nancy showed up ) giving her a rushed explanation of what happened, which of course had nancy feeling pretty stunned as she tried to process the fact that she got blackout drunk, and genuinely can't even remember how she got home, let alone the obviously really hurtful things that she said ( finding out you blacked out is scary on its own, let alone when someone you care about was hurt by your actions ) to her boyfriend... then steve, desperate for *some* ounce of hope that she didn't actually think their relationship ( or him ) was bullshit, just flat out insists that she tells him she loves him.. which is fair! it should be an easy thing for her to do, and it would at least make it hurt a little less, maybe. but at that point, to me, it was obvious she was still *completely* in her head about what she could have possibly said, and having him implore her to say *that* in the moment made it even worse because holy shit, she must have said some seriously awful things if he thinks she wouldn't be able to say it. so her "really?" always came off as almost defensive to me, because she was at such a disadvantage here, and hasn't been given any time to think, so to be put on the spot to basically save their relationship is just... "really???" and then of course they get interrupted. and nancy doesn't say what he needs to hear fast enough. and that's... their breakup? raaaah!! it's obvious the duffers just wanted to rush into jancy, but to totally nuke stancy's relationship like that and then actively not giving them a chance to talk until steve's decided that they're already done and nancy's made her choice ( without knowing for sure, and not giving her the chance to even say as much ), was just SO frustrating, and honestly, lazy writing. ... but this comment has gotten way too long already, so I'll quit babbling. but basically i'm just so relieved that they're going to give stancy another shot, because it's like steve said, if they had met *now*, things would have been really different, and they would have had a better shot. hopefully s5 is their shot!
the way you used the perfect scenes for perfect spots in the song oh my god, this is literally one of my favourite edits i have ever seen i'm not even exaggerating, i love it sm, you did an amazing job !!! (also hope you do more stancy videos in the future bc this was as i said so beautiful)
