Yeah, Versailles are a Visual Kei band, the concep is ¨The absolute sound of the extremes of aestheticism¨.They're pretty intense, when they have come to México in September 2, this year I was like.. omg, this can't be happening, then when seeing their suits I thought ¨they come from another planet¨, and well they're always very committed musicians in what they do, they even spoke in Spanish, and they were so focused on creating a whole admosphere on the show that Kamijo even said ¨hey mexico, tonight this is our castle¨ an then they played GOD PALACE I will never forgett^^. Oh, thank you for yo' reaction, so you can react to bands like Galneryus, Dadaroma, Buck Tick, The gazette, Malice Mizer, Jupiter (brother band of versailles), or more songs of Versailles like, Suzerain, Flowery, Aristocrat´s Symphony, Ascendead Master, Antique in the future, Judicial Noir, The love form a dead orchestra, Philia, Sympathia, etc^^ Again, thanks for the support to my favorite band and Visual Kei, of course. じゃまたね ☺
I was there! Versailles is my fav band, and traveled from Mexico to that concert at Nippon Budokan! This song is really special for the band. In 2009 Jasmine You (Versailles' fist bass player) passed away. The bass player you see there, is MASASHI, a close friend of Jasmine. About the song, HIZAKI (one of the guitarrists) wrote this song for Jasmine. Jasmine's "personal sign" was the purple color and butterflies. That's why you see at 16:20 (of your video) a purple butterfly. It was a touching moment that day, because Jasmine You's dream was that Versailles could play one day at Nippon Budokan. I highly recomend you to read the lyrics. They are beautiful :) goo.gl/nDe3Es
Don't you think this guy started to snuff at far too precise timing? Of course at that moment only, but I doubted he already knew the history of the band. @UChzpM9G921e4jAh96dWC74A Your pronunciation de le nom du groupe is at least far more better than most of Japanese fans of the band, I guarantee lol
Yeah I'm no expert on Japanese ether, I only know a few phrases. But just there way of making music really speaks to me. Saw another Canadian reactor how just last week was at one of there concerts in the US or Canada and he was totally blown away by there stage presents. During a break they just came out of 4 of the members started the band Jupiter with another singer as Kamijo wanted to try a solo career. However now that they are reunited I really hope they do a new album:)
Lol i'm subscribed to that chanel. Yeah and i went to Mexico´s concert and i confirm that version, Versailles just feel like that. Ahm.. yes they already have a new album called Leneage, only that you refer to another one, but that is what they have released for 2017 they also released one of hits called ¨the gratest hits 2007-2016¨.
If you want to know more about the Visual Kei scene try this japanese band called D, they're amazing and very unique even in the scene!! D - Ouka Saki Some ni Keri (probably the most famous one of them) ; D - Yami yori kurai doukoku no acapella to bara yori akai jounetsu no aria ; D - Namonaki Mori no Yumegatari ; ... I can't just chose one XD have fun! :D
I recommend Malice Mizer they're my favourite Jrock group :) They're a bit old though, from the late-90s to early 2000s. I will recommend their live performance for Le Ciel. Fun fact is Malice Mizer were the inspiration for Versailles and I think Kamijo (Versailles vocalist) worked with them early on.
I recommend you to hear this bands : "Dragon Guardian" + "Galneryus" + "Unlucky Morpheus" + "Roman so Words" (Symphonic Power Metal), "Light Bringer" + "Cross Vein" + "Liv Moon" (Symphonic Metal), "Gargoyle" (Thrash Metal), "Yousei Teitoku" (Gothic Heavy Metal) - Another all female band : "Destrose" + "Aldious" + "Fate Gear" - "Mary's Blood" + "Bridear " (Heavy Metal), "G∀LMET" (Melodic Death Metal) All of them is Japanese Metal Bands
so let start at Unluck Morpheus - REBIRTH Revisited, and Gagoyle - 禊 ~Misogi~, both is full album, you can take a lot time to choose yourself favorite tracks about Unlucky Morpheus, most of album is cover from Touhou Project (shooting game), www.metal-archives.com/bands/Unlucky_Morpheus/3540392250
Thank you :) and sorry I commented twice lol but I thought my other comment disappeared. Also Le ciel is a soft song, theyre not really metal but if you want a heavier song I can recommend one
I love that a channel like yours goes into these things so open minded. It would be easy to see it and think I don't know what they're saying and they're all wearing weird outfits etc. And just base dislike it right away. I'm a big guitar fan, if recommend someone like Yngwie Malmsteen as he's my favourite just ahead of Hizaki. But he's quite well known, he's big in Japan and has actually influenced quite a few players like Katsu Ohta or the band Concerto Moon who are worth checking out. Oh and worth noting, this song actually does have English parts to it. Hard to pick up since quite a bit is in Japanese and the English just runs right into it.
Yngwie is amazing at what he does and I had a phase in high school that I would listen to a bunch of his music. Now it is more at random that I go back to him, but the man is amazing.
btw can you please react to the Japanese visual kei band D (yes their name is a single letter XD) they are kinda similar to Versailles but less power metal, plus they tend to experiment more but they are very good. I recommend their songs: Der konig der dunkelheit, ouka saki some ni keri, and namonaki mori no yumegatari.
Like I said in the video. It is on the list and we will be getting to it eventually. Just gotta give other peoples requests a chance too just to be fair. :) Thanks for enjoying it!
Poor Teru couldn’t bear it anymore, such a great composition. Gets me every time
